so the best thing about this hotel was the staff, we had the most welcoming, smiling, chilling vibe from severely to not say all the people working there! from recommendation as to where to go to visit the city or where to have coffee and food they have been super helpful! the location is perfect, walking distance to everything, a short and cheap taxi ride from the airport!

so a couple of simple changes would have make it a perfect stay, but should not stop you from booking there as i hope they would change it once they know… please add a multi-plug on the side of the bed that has the mini fridge so both guest can charge their phone at night! simple and cheap fix !! add a soap bottle or bar by the sink, its annoying having to go to the shower to get soap! and last one may be a trash can in the bedroom instead of just the bathroom… simple and cheap fix the hotel should implement to make it a all you need accommodation!

I gave the hotel an extra star due to the extreme kindness and helpfulness of the staff. When I arrived, the elevator was not working and one of the front desk staff (Camille) lifted my *extremely heavy* suitcase up four flights of steep stairs for me. He did the same for me on the way out. I cannot blame them for the elevator not working on and off that weekend, considering it was out of their control, but they did everything to make up for it. Every person who worked at the front desk or at breakfast was extremely kind and accommodating, going out of their way to ask about my needs (from orange juice to bottles of water). This is what makes this hotel special and why I'd stay here again. As well, the rooms are clean and well-appointed (especially for the price!) with very good air conditioning and housekeeping does a good job. The location - one block away from Montpellier St. Roch and by a streetcar stop - is excellent.

You should just be aware when booking that only the first two floors have elevator access. But that's not really a complaint so much as a tip.

Good access from a train station and nice staff. They give me replies soon after I send messages. When I had a mistake and arrived at the hotel around 1:00am (after the reception hours), they allowed us to stay at the hotel. Also, Wifi connection was so good!

The location of this hotel in Montpellier is hard to beat. Everything is accessible on foot from here. The culture and atmosphere of central Montpellier exudes from every nearby street. The hotel staff were professional and supportive. My room was well prepared. It was a most enjoyable stay.

All went well during my stay here. I have nothing to criticise.

Very supportive and friendly staff, spoke ok english. Room was big and ok, beds was comfy. It was clean. The AC worked well. Hotel did not look very fancy on the outside, but was good inside. The location was very central close to the station, and place de la comedie with cafe's and restaurants. Just 5 minutes walk. Wifi worked fine.

Problem to get the garage in the hotel, i got another very old garage some blocks away from the hotel. Very narrow door, and street. I am glad I did not drove a large SUV.. Breakfast was french..not worth the 9.5 eur. Better to take a breakfast in one of the nearby cafe's. No soap or shampoo in the shower

It was a quirky room in the top of the hotel with wood beams in the ceiling. Unique and not cookie cutter. The shower was small but with good water pressure.The bed was just fine for one person and comfortable.

I was warned there were stairs as the elevator doesn’t service the third floor but I managed.

Staff were superb and most accommodating- English is spoken but they tolerated our so-so French. Great location, nice quiet room. Close to St Roch station as well as the Comedie district with tons of restaurants nearby . Stored our bikes for us safely in the hotel. AC was great, bed comfy. Fridge in room was a bonus.

Shower head wouldn’t stay in position so had to use it as a handheld.

the bed was a bit stiff, the bathroom does not have much shelf space. The parking garage is a plus but driving in Montpellier is a hell. Better to get there by taxi and rent car outside of city!

Great location, near two tram lines, within walking distance of all of Historic Montpellier, lots of dining options, “La Trattoria” for the best lasagna ever! Room was comfy, quiet, dark at night, staff super friendly and spoke English

The location was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel and rooms are very sweet and comfortable and good value for money.

A few coat hangers and somewhere to hang clothes would have been appreciated
