Crowne Plaza Montpellier Corum, an IHG Hotel

We booked a suite with a terrace which was very good. We liked everything including the superb WiFi - except for the one irritating item listed below.

The television did not function throughout our stay. An engineer was scheduled to arrive to fix, but cancelled the agreed time slot. There is a possibility that the TV could only be used with a smartphone. If this was the reason for the failure of the TV, I suggest that you abandon this stupid idea, and just supply a standard TV function without this ridiculous new and unnecessary technology. The irony is that the French would like us to learn their language, and yet have a genius for creating any possible obstacle to prevent any steps for this to be achieved.

excellent hotel in perfect location for walking into main tourist areas, We spend 2 days here, food was excellent but above all the reception staff were absolutely wonderful, so so helpful, as Irish visitors our french was very very limited and we were not driving so they couldn't do enough to help us, We would like to compliment them for their professionlism, it is such an important asset in hotel staff to have team members that care about their guests, We thank them sincerly for making our stay in montpellier memorable, top marks to the wonderful staff at this hotel,

Good location close to Le Corum conference venue and close to transport and bars and restaurants but in a quiet side street. Room was a good size and had a fridge and spacious bathroom. Pool was lovely and was quiet during the day. It was quiet and comfortable.

I arrived at 4pm and was not able to check in as my room was not ready. I was told a few minutes and I waited 30 minutes in the very hot lobby when my patience wore thin. I went to the desk and the receptionist did not even remember my room number so was not planning on letting me know anytime soon. Thankfully the room was ready but I think this is a very long time to wait well after the advertised 3pm check in. I could have been offered a cold drink as it is so hot in the lobby. The ice machine didn't work and there is nothing to put ice in.

Booked a twin room but apparently emailed in French that this was not possible. Didn't take this in as I don't tread French. Would be better if they replied in English which was what I sent my message. Admittedly I could have also put it through the translate. The staff was not particularly helpful to discuss how to resolve this. As a result I had to pay for another room on the night. I booked a room and asked for twin beds and

The rooms were very comfertable, easy to manage the temperature and shower and everything. There were many thing included and it felt like a high quality hotel, and very good value for the price. The breakfast was great and the pool area was quiet and comfortable.

There were only 12 sunbeds in total, and at most maybe 30 people that wanted to use them. So in the weekends you would have to be by the pool at around 10 am to even get a sunbed. But the sunbed-are stayed in the shadows(not all of them but like 2/3 of them) until maybe midday. So that was a little bit of a disappointment. But during the weekdays it was not as full:)

Fantastic location for a business conference. Thanks to the pleasant pool terrace, we were able to have meetings, lunch, and social time afterwards all without moving. Raul, the restaurant and bartender for the pool, was exceptionally friendly, always looking out for us and very attentive. One of the reasons we will repeat this booking is because of his service. The proximity to the city center, the cleanliness of the rooms, all were fantastic.

Breakfast was at times very busy, and often had to wait to find a clean table only to find that there were no coffee cups or silverware or other item. Perhaps this was due to the amount of guests during the conference. Lunch is mandatory served on the pool terrace, but then if you order a drink such as a beer, the staff have to go downstairs to get it. a bit strange. But these were in no way important items, and did not detract from the overall stay, which was excellent.

I had a very nice stay. The hotel is very comfortable, room is clean, well equipped with a very comfortable bed and very good bathroom/restroom I particularly appreciated water bottles offered each day. The cleaning team was very efficient and kind, thanks for them. Hotel is very well located, about 5min walk from the city center and Tourism Office

Parking price is high, i asked for a special offer, and i was told that due to high demand on it, they couldn't offer free night, but i could notice that there was always free parking lot available

We really loved the hotel, the hotel was at a quiet location yet quite central, the breakfast was beautiful and there was a lot of options. We were sad the pool was closed but the beach was a 15 mins ride away. The staff was phenomenal Raul in the bar/restaurant was fantastic with both of us and really made us feel welcome. The reception staff was forever welcoming and supportive I have nothing but positive things to say about our stay. I’m excited to come back again in the future.

The only small thing was the gym was very basic and the pool was closed but it wasn’t a deal breaker I still managed to make use of the running machine.

A comfortable hotel and the room on the first floor was excellent, close to the pool with a walk in shower. Breakfast was average

our first two nights were on Booking.com; we went to Marseille for the night and returned, booking via my wife’s IHG elite class membership to receive an upgrade. The room on the third floor is inferior; slightly bigger, no USB ports, a bath which we most certainly would’ve refused and no walk in shower without overhead shower headl. my wife could not get a standard Caesar salad for lunch. Location is a good 10 minute walk from any facilities and hotels did not have any obvious shop to buy routine necessities

The hotel offers outstanding accommodations. Clean, comfortable rooms, great bed and shower, nice workspace, lots of outlets and good closet space. The staff were all very friendly and the breakfast is outstanding. The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from the main square and conference center.

Although the hotel is next to a walkway that connects to the conference center, the walkway is only open when there is a huge event. The hotel sits just on the other side of the main road/tramway so to get to the conference center and the city center, you have to walk a 2-3 minute stretch along a very quiet road. Then you either go underneath a viaduct to get to the conference center or through the park to get to the main Place de la Comédie. During the day I felt very safe, but after dark I felt less at ease. Also, the restaurant menu was very limited.
