Hôtel Le Bayonne

Staff are so helpful and friendly. One female staffer went above and beyond to try to help me access a prepaid mobile account through La Poste. She spoke with the company on my behalf. Although we couldn't resolve the issue, I appreciated her willingness to listen and her exceptional patience with this rude, unprofessional and greed-driven La Poste service. Every staff member at Hotel Le Bayonne greeted me with a smile and 'bonjour' every single day - without fail - from the front desk to cleaners. It makes a difference when you're a long way from home and travelling solo!! Breakfasts were superb also! Vast choice of items and lovely display to look at.

I only spent one night but it was really nice. We were warmly welcomed by a lovely receptionist. Check in was very quick and smooth due the online pre-check in. When I first walk in to the room we were welcome by such a lovely scent. The room was clean, the bed so comfortable and the duvet was so nice and thick how I like it I felt like sleeping on a cloud. There’s a free secured parking for the guest right next to the hotel. I didn’t get to see the pool or have the breakfast unfortunately. But overall I enjoyed my stay and I would stay here again the next time I am in Bayonne.

Nothing - I wish I stayed longer

Comfortable, quite spacious room..Bed was comfy and the walk in shower very good. We arrived very early but were given access to our room immediately. Kettle in room was great. Location is good. Secure parking and an easy walk into central Bayonne. The waiter at dinner was very jolly and both he and the receptionists spoke good English

We had to change the date of the booking at the last minute & this was speedily agreed by the hotel. However, at check out we were shocked to see that we'd been charged a whole extra night. This should have been clarified when the date was changed. Raised it with the hotel & booking.com but despite initially being told that we were getting a refund, in fact we did not.

Everything about Le Bayonne was superb, all of the highest order. Friendly and helpful staff all over. Tasteful, modern decor and a very relaxing atmosphere throughout. Bedroom/shower was perfect. A comfortable bed ensured a great night's sleep. Location of hotel was ideal, on a lovely riverbank walkway and close to the city centre. And i was more than happy with the price, excellent value for money.

Nothing. As i stated earlier, it was perfect. Top marks. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anybody visiting the city.

Clean to top standard everywhere. All staff were welcoming and friendly and attentive. Breakfast is worth every penny , there’s everything you could wish for( my kinda heaven).Good vibes

Temperature of the water in shower and taps needs to be lowered slightly. There’s no middle(warm) just burn your hands or not. There should be someone removing the leaves regularly from the pool.

Room as expected was comfortable and clean. As i was traveling with a dog, the Location was great - you could take walks right along the river. Secure car parking. night manager was very helpful in the morning as i left before 6am.

I had been driving since 5am that day and had hoped to check in at 2pm but the room was not ready. Not really the hotels fault but that was the one thing I was disappointed with.

Good value, got my room at 11:30, very welcoming, clean and comfortable room, easy 10 minutes walk into town, stayed in this hotel at start and finish of 3 weeks GR10 Pyrenees hike, so appreciated the comforts provided. Easy bus ride to Biarritz airports, 15 minute walk to Bayonne bus station. I would not hesitate in returning.

Location extremely good for walking into Town. Private gated parking very good. All staff were excellent very friendly and helpful.

The room was very hot aircon not great. Had to have window open and we were on the roadside so helicopter at hospital woke us up and traffic .

Clean.comfortanle beds. Excellent location quiet and 10 minutes walk to city. Lovely meals. Free locked car par a bonus

It was clean and comfortable for one night. Staff were courteous and I had no problems checking in or out. It was peaceful and not that far to stroll into the old town.

I was a bit cold at night. There was some kind of heating system but it didn’t work very efficiently.
