Grand Hotel Adriatic II

The staff was really polite and nice. Breakfast is amazing with huge variety of food. Spa center at the top of the hotel has stunning view. The location was good if you don't mind walking some 10-15 minutes to the center of Opatija.

We had to pay for the whole 7 days that we booked when we arrived, before getting the room keys. Both for the hotel and parking. It wasn't stated like that in the reservation when we made one on Booking.com and also, it wasn't stated like that in the confirmation e-mail that we got. The other thing is that the hotel has new and old building, and the pictures of the room that I booked were definitely from the new building but we got the room in the old building, which I think is not correct and fair.

I loved breakfast that offered a lot in a very nice place. Infinity pool was also good with enough place for many visitors.

The curtains in room are not properly installed and therefore you get light directly in a face in bed. I think for this price they could offer included parking without additional payment.

the view, location, breakfast, pools and wellness - absolutely amazing. friendly, kind and efficient staff. can’t wait to come back!

the prices of drinks suddenly increased when the weekend came. the hotel bar was regularly unstaffed. outdoor pool states it has a restaurant and a bar, but both was closed. it would be useful to state this kind of information on the website so that people know what to expect i.e what amenities are actually available and when. if you drive into the garage you’ll get charged parking for your whole stay, even if you no longer want to pay for the parking, for example because you return the rental car. the little things like that felt like a rip-off

Good location, we had the room with balcony and sea view - worth the money, Excellent breakfast, Parking available at 20e/day.

We stay in the 3* side - access was a bit complicated with all the luggages, some parts of the plaster in the hotel was loose. We had some issues with a twin room - lady on reception was miss informed ( I hope) that the room was twin but , in fact it had only 1 bed … finally was solved but not had to go 3 times at 5th floor to make pictures because she was : “ the room is fine, it is twin!”…

The dining area, as well as the value, and the selection of breakfast was top notch. The outdoor swimming pool was cleaner and more sophisticated than most of other options nearby.

The only thing we missed was the gym. A possibility for workout is important and broadly sought-after in 2023. It would definitely elevate the experience.

The stuff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and cozy. We felt very comfortable at the pool area and the food served at breakfast was delicious.

20€ for 1 nights just for parking our car in my opinion is a little bit cheeky, before this trip that never happened to us. Usually parking is included in the price for the rooms etc. If necessary 10€ per night would already be enough The shower water was cold, no matter what time we showered.

My daughter and I stayed at the Grand Adriatic hotel II for our Birthday girls trip and we’re extremely pleased with our time here. The spa is fantastic, on the 8th floor overlooking nothing but water. There is also a pool just next to the ocean, and one on the 8th floor as well. Both are with salt water which was a huge plus for us. Cleanliness is 10/10.(!) There were a few little obstacles upon our arrival and some miscommunications but the staff handled it with ease and kept us feeling comfortable and welcome. Especially big thanks to Mrs. Veronica, front desk manager, who was extremely professional and an expert in customer care.

I would not recommend dinner option bc of high cost for the value. I think that there are much nicer places to eat around the the hotel. Breakfast on the other hand is AWESOME:)

Breakfast was absolutely great! Anything you can imagine was served. SPA centre on the last floor of Adriatic Hotel is wonderful amenity to already great place. Outdoor pool is also useful considering that beach below hotel is 'occupied' by neighbouring hotel, but still can be used (not the beach beds, unless you pay additional fee).

Rooms in Grand Adriatic Hotel II are quite small, but it is not expect that guests would spent too much times indoors. I would recommend / suggest; few more hangers in the wardrobe, also some hanger at the balcony area for the swimming suits, towels and maybe some in the bathroom.

The hotel Location is really good, Hotel pool, spa and all other facilities were excellent. Breakfast was Superb, so many different choices with fresh and local food. Friendly Staff.

It must be said that there are actually 2 different hotels using the same lobby, restaurants, pools etc.. It is confusing... we did not get tricked, we stayed in a room as it was described in the picture before the booking, but we were located at the older part of the hotel (it was actually different hotel, you can still see the old hotel name on the wall). Here cleanliness was not the best, they didnt changed the sheets for 4 nights, the carpet was old and did not looked great. The lift and the Hall, I doubt that they have ever been cleaned before, it just didnt looked nice. I don't know what the prices are for the rooms on the other side of the hotel (the new hotel part), but I must say that we didn't pay little for our stay either.
