The Spa area in the 8th floor with the panoramic sauna and its view over the Kvarner bay, the infinity pool area just above the sea level and view over the bay, the cleanliness of the room, as well as the selection of breakfast choices with the omlette station and the overall impression of the building areas.

The constant exposure to too loud and annoying music in the lobby and Spa area - some quiet time would be fine. Improvements could be made with the coffee bar at the breakfast, a pancake station, so that they are always fresh, and some of the staff could be more friendly.

The spa center is one of the best I've ever been to, sea water in the pools and a spa with a great view looking over the city and the coast.

We had to pay for the parking 20EUR, which was really negative for us, but since Opatija has an issue with parking lots, we used their parking in front of the hotel. And they offered to give us a room with a view of the sea, but we were stuck in a darker corner room with a view over the buildings.

I've enjoyed staying at this hotel - the location is ok, they had a huge garage to leave a car, the hotel looks freshly renovated, the spa is ok and breakfast offered a great variety of quality food. The room felt very comfortable and cozy with great floor heating.

Looks a bit big and not well utilized. Stayed at 2. on the floor and couldn't have a clear view of the sea, unfortunately. The garage is tricky to find, and after that, there is a long walk to reception.

Beautiful view from the room, amazing breakfast, wonderful pool next to the sea. The location is superb, the price is okay and the room was perfect. Silent and big enough. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Too bad that the sunbeds at the poolside are limited. If the hotel is fully booked and you want the right spot, you need to be fast in the morning, stand in a queue from 8:40am approx. to be able to have a sunbed next to the pool at a right spot. It's not a relaxing experience what you want for your holiday, but worth it! Unfortunately it is possible to smoke at the pool, very annoying if you're not a smoker, I would recommend to have designated smoking areas instead.

The best thing I liked here was the breakfast and awesome spa facilities with a stunner of a view. Pool was also great, as well as the location. Room was cosy and clean, although maybe just a bit small.

Parking is a catch of luck here. You pay around 14 EUR per day for a parking spot on a hotel's parking lot which is very small for the amount of guests in a hotel. If you're unable to find a spot they send you to a garage more than 500 meters away which you have to pay for yourself, or you pay a full day parking price on a city parking below the hotel. Not sure if hotel then charges you their 14 EUR/day anyways, but I'm pretty sure they do. We had a stroke of luck on both days to grab a last free parking spot, but be prepared that it won't be free. That's pretty much my only downside of this otherwise great place.

Everything was great. We got a free upgrade and a bottle of champagne as a welcome gift. There is a beautiful closed pool with warm salty water on the top floor. It also has saunas and jacuzzi and everything is in glass so a great view of the seaside is all around you. All the facilities are free for guests. One slight warning, the hotel is not immediately on the seaside but a couple hundred meters in and doesn't have an outdoors pool nor a hotel beach. This is something that is not at all a problem for us, but it could be for some.

Staff, breakfast and SPA. As well very beautiful xmas decoration around and in the hotel.

Dinner did not have many options for non- meat and fish eaters... only risotto and bad quality pizza. Instead of breakfast was really well prepated and diverse incl. plant base milch and 100% orange juice.

The third time at this hotel was overall good. However the impression is not as good as the first times. + very good location + breakfast was very good with lots of options + fairly good priced + very nice staff (certainly Kristina - think her name was that)

Since my first visit I have now noticed several aspects that needs improvement or that I don’t like. - smoking; there are smokers everywhere, eg by the pool area when you are relaxing and want some fresh air the hotel allows smokers to smoke in the sunbed. Disgusting. -cleaning; found hair in the minibar/refrigerator and it didn’t look completely clean. We had to visit reception twice before a cleaning lady came.

Entire personal staff exeed all expectations.Very hospitable, great energy from very hard working staff next to the pool. Breakfast had such a nice flow, the line was always well maintained, all staff was around to assist with everything, great selection of food as well.Special thanks to Goran, he welcomed and made every guest special. there is only one suggestion, the beech bags should be available for sale.I really loved it however when I asked to purchase, it was not available.

Very well appointed rooms in excellent condition. Luxurious bathroom with beautifully soft robes included, generous sized walk in shower. Stunning views for the sea view rooms. Delicious breakfast with incredible range of choices, hot and fresh with variety to suit all. Very nice pool complex with brilliant bar staff and wonderful views from the infinity pool. Fabulous outside terrace bar with live music every night and good range of drinks plus cocktails. Absolutely beautiful spa on the top floor with views over the ocean and very comfy loungers. We had spa treatments on our one wet day which we enjoyed immensely. Good WiFi throughout even by the pool Extremely helpful friendly staff everywhere

No safe in the single room We were bed & breakfast which suited us, we did eat dinner in the hotel on the night we arrived and we didn’t really like the buffet style for our evening meal. If you prefer a la carte then eat dinner elsewhere. There is plenty of choice Opatija is lovely :)
