Amadria Park Hotel Milenij

We cannot say enough nice things about our stay! From our warm welcome (with a cold drink) to our departure...the kind staff (smiles do matter), the close attention to little details, and the stylish (but not pretentious) facilities exceeded our expectations. We'd like to comment on our hostess/manager Maria, who made such a difference in our experience. We felt this was an extraordinary value for money. The breakfast buffet (with daily live music/pianist!) and service at breakfast was outstanding and generous and a joy to linger over on the terrace or under the arched patio. Our room with a balcony view of the sea was fresh, comfy, and done in such soothing colors. We loved the quiet indoor/outdoor pool area, the close vicinity to the beach walk, and free use of the sauna/steam rooms. The hotel still has an air of old-school, formal glamour (without being stuffy) that one doesn't find so often anymore but we truly appreciate. We will be back.

Opatija is an incredibly lovey and beautify town and hotel Milenij is definitely a diamond in the crown :) We loved the magnificent sea view from the room on the top floor, beautiful park next to the property, sparkling clean and convenient facilities with saunas, indoor pool and hot jacuzzi. The warm and friendly attitude of the hotel staff and willingness to help made our stay absolutely amazing - thank you to Tomislav and Lucia, Svetlana, Diana, Alen and a huge warm thankyou to Maria !

I have stayed in this hotel at least 5 times. Its in a great spot and has an awesome terraced restaurant. The staff are freindly and helpful. Food in the restaurant is excellent and with great service. A perfect Croatian Riveria Hotel, right on the water front with easy access to restaurants and shops. Plus underground parking. Its not cheap, but very good.

Because of the central location there can be noise from surrounding venues with loud music. On this occasion a nearby wedding.

Really everything; the location is phenomenal: right at the heart of Opatija with his nice stores and restaurants. Also right at the walking promenade. The room was very spacious, clean with very comfy beds and bathroom. fantastic breakfast with in the weekend live piano music that you can enjoy from the indoor restaurant or from the terrace, both with sea view. The staff is extremely friendly and helped us with many things with our baby and on top of that gave us great recommendations for day trips and restaurants! Pool is great as well, with a nice sun terrace overlooking the bay. overall fantastic 5 star experience.

this is a great place to stay for few days, excellent hotel, combination of greate comfort and elegance . what makes the difference is the attention to details to please the guests, staying at Milenij you feel like a very special guest, the srevice deserves the highes recognition, especialy the restaurant managers Lucy and Tomyslav fullfilling the guests's wishes with a truly swiss profesionalism, there is hardly a better place in Croatia to go for holidays

the hotel restaurant offers great choice, however lacks a bit of this high level quality one could expect here. While the hotel definately deserves 5 stars and plus, the restaurant should improve to get to this score, for the moment there is a visible and tasteable mismatch

location quality of the hotel and furnishings friendly staff breakfast, both quality and service spa

service at dinner was poor. they did not have enough staff on for the number of guests. no effort was made to stagger the dinner reservations. our waiter was stressed and was forgetful. there did not appear to be anybody taking charge and overseeing the restaurant. However, I complained that evening to reception. they said they would look into it. at checkout they apologised, had spoken to the waiter etc and decided not to charge me for the dinner and gave us some wine and chocolates as a gift. this was much appreciated

great location, hotel is clean and beautiful. every detail is well thought of. beautiful view, the staff is nice. loved the walk-in shower. will come back for sure

The ONLY thing I didn’t like was that the hotel doesn’t offer any snacks past 10pm, I totally understand the restaurant being closed and I wouldn’t expect it to be open, but I don’t think it’s acceptable for a 5 star hotel not to have any snacks at all (I asked for chips, crackers, anything). if the guests arrive late and all the restaurants are closed it would be nice to have at least a few options. I also asked if it was possible to use the microwave (I brought some oatmeal just in case) and they said yes but only in the morning, which meant that I couldn’t use it.

We spent a splendid long weekend here. The hotel is partly housed in a magnificent old villa right by the seaside. Breakfast was exceptional and plenty. The staff was kind and helpful all around the house: at reception, in the restaurant, in the garage, on the sun terrace. It was just a pleasure to come here and we will surely return no doubt.

The mattress was a little soft and worn out and there was a repetive (though fairly quiet) low humming sound of some sort of machinery in the old villa section.

Staff were excellent. In particular Lucija, Marija and Vivijen (in no order). Given we were travelling with a elderly family member, they went above and beyond to make our trip easy, comfortable, and stress-free. This included organising day trips, assisting travel, and providing fantastic attentiveness in all service interactions. The aforementioned staff members were excellent, inviting and always warm.

Nothing regarding the staff and hotel. However regarding the facilities, it would be good to see an outdoor heated pool in the future!

The staff was wonderful, the bed was comfy and the breakfast was splendid.

For a room at that price point, I expect not to see ripped material on the bench at the bottom of the bed. I also expect to have a sofa that is reasonably comfortable for sleeping. This one was just very very bad. Also, the tiling work under the sink is truly poorly done. I mean, someone literally broke the tiles to make irregular holes for water pipres. It just looks cheap for a 5 star hotel. So, those little details that make a 5 star hotel were missing but otheriwse the staff was amazing and I would come back in part because of them.
