I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this property due to its proximity to various stores and shops. The staff was incredibly friendly and provided invaluable assistance in guiding us to the train that took us to Old Montreal. Their directions were excellent, and their advice to use the metro instead of driving was spot on. The convenience of the train from the hotel made exploring all that Montreal has to offer a breeze.

The major drawback of our stay was the proximity of a restaurant and dance bar located diagonally across from the property. Unfortunately, our room had a window facing that direction, and throughout the night, the booming music made it challenging for us to get a good night's sleep. We did not complain or ask the hotel staff and they very well may have changed our room - we were simply too exhausted from our travels to do so and opted to tough it out.

I tend to stay at this property occasionally while travelling rhrough the area. I like the location (right off of the south-shore-Montreal area by-pass Hwy 30...use Boul. de Rome exit). It forms part of a "big-box" shopping-mall, and thus provides underground parking with direct access by elevator to the hotel-reception. While the parking-spaces are tight, a good driver can handle them even with a Pick-Up truck! The property has a licensed juice-bar (open Thu-Sun), free tea/coffee all day and a choice of fresh sandwiches for purchase near the reception. All rooms have a Nespresso coffee machine...are airy with large windows (some of them with great views of the Montreal skyline).. Remember to stick your room-access key-card into the slot on the wall-holder just inside the room (where the lightswitche is usually located)...this will turn-on all lights in the room. The beds are comfortable as well....but mind the "What didn't you like" below....

...I've complained about this issue before: Both bed-frame corners at the foot-ends overhang the white mattress-cover; are painted black, and don't form a discernible contrast with the dark-coloured carpet....resulting in a frequent toe-snubbing !!! Mind you, remembering this annoyance from previous stays, I brought along two 1 L empty soft-drink bottles to avert this problem. The m.o. is to stick the neck of the bottle beneath the mattress-corner, with the main-body of the bottle overhanging the bed-frame corner. This way your eyes/brain colaboration will tell you to to give that area a wide-berth with your feet when moving around the room....LOL. (you'll appreciate this suggestion, once you've decided to stay at this - otherwise - great place).

no parking close to hotel even under M1 or 2 we had to park at end of parking outside not practical when you have several things too bring in, even if buggy, we had to get it and come back also, choice of coffee very limited, not enough cream and sugar we had to get more we had a room with a beautiful view of a roof of building next door and it was noisy i am sure the hotel was not full so we could have got a better room we did not bother to ask to change since all of our stuff were brought up cost is expensive for 2 nights during week for what you get - room size, comfort, location, view from room (roof)

Location Room was compact but everything needed was there.

You had to ask for a mini fridge and there were not enough for everyone who wanted one. Although they offered to store things in the lobby fridge but that would have meant a trip to the lobby

I've rated this property (10 points) a few months ago, and nothing changed since....thus, at the risk of sounding like a broken record, it still is one of my favoured places to stay when travelling to or through Montreal and its surroundings.

That nasty bed-frame corner that takes far too much of a liking of my toes, especially when stepping away from the Nespresso coffee-machine with a piping-hot cup in ones hand....sorry, ALT hotel management, but I'm not the only one who has stubbed their toes there....just read through the other comments. A simple solution is to apply a touch of lighter coloured patch on the top of the bed-fram which extends past the mattress, to make it visible against the dark carpet!!! It wouldn't take a rocket-scientist to fix this problem. Do note that so far, this complaint hasn't affected my overall rating of your fine property.....but, I only have 10 toes, so I can't promisse what happens at the 11th time ....capice ;-)

Modern facilities; free underground parking; Nespresso coffee in room (buy croissants from Van Houten nearby for next morning breakfast); shopping and restaurants within walking distance; convenient location for travelling from Ontario to Nova Scotia.

The very comfortable room looks new, and clean and provides everything necessary for the stay. In Additional the location is exceptional with many stores and restaurants all around.

There's no free breakfast as usual.

This place was very different compared to other hotels. Their room design and style was unique and made the most use of the space. Rooms were small but it didn’t feel small due to the room’s setup. Location was amazing with access to alot of places for shopping and dining. Definitely recommended.

Else then the shower, everything. The best was so soft and comfortable. The service was Quick, professionnal and and the depostie of only 50$ was really nice too , not to expensive. I loved it.

The handle of the shower door was just a hole in the glass in a shape of a square. Its cute but it make such a mess because of all the water that comes out the shower by that hole and leave a poddle of water on the floor 😅.
