Love the tasteful choices made throughout with the fixtures of the room itself, and the layout!

It was a bit annoying to have to enter the code three times to get to the room, but I don’t know how you’d change that. And of course parking was stressful, but there’s not much you can do about that either. The only thing you could change is maybe installing a door to the shower so that you don’t create a small lake in the bathroom every time you take a shower…the open concept is cool but the shower’s not big enough for it to work…water goes everywhere dog, that’s just some real talk for ya

Location is a little difficult to get to if you're walking a large suitcase due to all the cobbled streets and damage to sidewalks, etc. from age. However it's definitely worth the effort. Sonder St Paul likes in the middle of Old Montreal, and up the quieter end from what I could tell. It was easy to walk out the door and find gorgeous old buildings and monuments. A short walk to several stations, to Notre Dame, to the port, to the artist's quarter. Surrounded by great food options, and maybe 10 minutes walk to the nearest IGA if you want to buy your own groceries. The room is large and clean, with several helpful items like earplugs and a white noise machine. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also larger than most hotels, I felt a bit spoiled.

My one disappointment was that the room didn't have a mini-fridge or kettle. That would have made my stay perfect if I could easily make my own hot drinks, and keep leftovers and cold drinks cold. Be warned there is no early access unless already paid and pre-arranged in the Sonder app. You can enter the building 30-60 minutes early, but your actual room is locked until the exact minute of your check-in time. But you're surrounded by great cafes and restaurants if you need to kill some time with your luggage still in hand.

The room was clean, comfortable. Everything was in pristine condition. The Sonder app means I did not have to deal directly with any person, which was my preference. Everything worked fine, the communication on how to access the property and get in the room was sent about 5 days before my trip and it all worked. The room was quiet and I felt secure and safe. I would stay with Sonder again.

At one point I thought that the keypad lock was malfunctioning. I called Sonder for help and they walked me through it. It was a personal error on my part but they were nice about it. I was pushing the buttons too hard. At that point I switched over to setting my phone up as an electronic entry fob and that worked beautifully.

It's a very lovely place if all you are looking for is a place to keep your stuff safe, have a nice room to sleep in, and take a hot shower. My room did not have anything extremely fancy but I was not looking for that. I was just looking for the basics in a fantastic spot and that is exactly what I got so I was very happy.

I wish the bed was a bit softer. It was hard to sleep on it but other than that the place was fantastic!

Old Port location that was a great base for our exploring. Clean and modern. Sonder has an interesting concept - no front desk, self check in, no phone, only streaming of entertainment from your device to TV, which all equates to good value for price.

Our suite was directly above a lounge so it was noisy at times. Recommend asking for a room on a higher floor.

They should find a way that a room guests are all in one place and any agent can see n continue the conversation. 2.No kettle or coffee or drinking facility 3. If the shower area had a sliding door, it will keep rest of area dry

The property is in a great location, room is little but comfortable.

No one to talk to, everything is automated, no reception, no help. Room could’ve been a little bit cleaner overall, there was no fridge, no coffee machine but, above all, there was no shower door. Everytime I showered, it was a mess. How can you not put a sliding door?

The space was very clean and the area is very conveniently located in Old Port Montreal. Mostly everything you need is within walking distance. Staff is very friendly and easy to communicate with via phone or text and everything is self check-in which is convenient.

Conversations can be heard through the walls and you need to be mindful of noise levels.

Street noise…but that was expected. They do. provide ear plugs and a white noise machine that we didn’t use. No mini fridge nor coffee/tea making facility nor morning restaurant onsite. Only one bedside table and bedside light.
