Sonder at Penny Lane

Great location, walkable to metro, restaurants, underground mall, Notre dame, old Montreal and wharf. Unit was equipped with a generous amount of kitchen supplies and they even provided coffee and tea which was a very nice touch. Laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent was also provided. Staff was very helpful when I asked for more towels They came very quickly and gave us plenty for our stay.

Bathroom sink was cracked with mold in it! I had some jewelry fall under the bed and the amount of dust was crazy under the bed. We wouldn’t have known if the necklace hadn’t fallen underneath.

Very centrally located, yet quiet enough. Some earplugs were supplied on the bedside tables but we didn't need them... Clean Comfortable beds Washing machine and dryer

Maybe you could provide an explanation as to how to lock the door of the appartment as that wasn't immediately clear to us, so the first few days we were simply waiting until we heard the door lock automatically. Tip: we figured out that the door locks by simply putting your hand on the keypad.

We loved the split bedroom layout, full size closets with hangers, and having our own bathrooms. The unit was spacious for the two of us and the kitchen had all of the supplies and small appliances to prepare a simple meal. We appreciated the full size shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers in the shower. The location was amazing! Just a 10 minute walk from the train station and a 10 minute walk to the Notre Dame. A central location but away from the noisy nightlife of Old Montreal.

There was a bit of noise transfer from the upper unit so we appreciated that ear plugs were provided! Thank you!

Love the location & room itself so much! Fave hotel I’ve ever stayed in… so cozy and just felt like I had my own little apartment in Montreal. I’d definitely come again and again!!!! Also the bed was super comfy. I have issues so often with beds in hotels being uncomfortable, but this bed was great! I just thought I’d mention cause I saw a review about how the bed was uncomfortable but I guess it all depends on the person!

I didn’t like that on the weekend the nightclub music next door was pretty loud, but that’s no fault of the property. They had earplugs and a sound machine to help drown that out. One thing about the actual property they should fix, is a kind of busted outlet. I was afraid to use it in case it was a fire hazard. Also outlets seemed to be in the most random places, so that’s why I knocked off a point. Overall amazing time and not much to complain about!

Excellent location, well equipped apartment, with all that is needed for a short or medium stay (and more). It is clean, well maintained and simple to access. The kitchen was especially above my expectations.

Fully equipped, spacious apartment in a very convenient location. The metro was just around the corner. We stayed 5 nights and although the room was not serviced during our stay, if you requested more coffee, dish washing tablets or clean towels via the Sonder app they were delivered the next morning. We had an issue with the iron and a new one arrived within half an hour. We had no trouble with the entry code, although some other comments appeared to. There was an IGA supermarket about 10 minutes walk away, and several (expensive) restaurants nearby. There was also a food hall and convenience store in the lobby of the World Trade Centre across the road, although they were not open after 6 pm or at weekends.

Our only gripe was the bed frame was very old and squeaky although he mattress was very comfortable. However every time you sat on the bed or rolled over during the night it squeaked horribly. It needs to be replaced!

The apartment is in a great location by Old Town, with a metro around the corner that links to all lines quickly. There are lots of shops close by and 2 really nice restaurants next door (a little expensive though). The flat itself was very clean and modern, with super comfy bed, great sized bathroom, and really well equipped kitchen.

Honestly the whole apartment is really great and well stocked. The only bad thing I could say at all is that the shower was really annoying to find the right temperature, MORE so than usual bad showers!

The location was amazing. Everything was in walking distance and extra was Great restaurants next door that much better than those in city center

Neighborhood was perfect. Apt was absolutely clean and well stocked.

Poor lighting in living room. Not having television available.

Central location for Old Town. Very safe area. Near to Metro and underground city access. Close to Intercontinental Hotel for tour pickup etc. Clean, spacious and comfortable - minimalist but thoughtfully and well equipped - salt, sugar, tea, coffee and the like. Some occasional noise from nightclub next door as they mention but this wasn't actually that bad. Staff response to questions/issues raised on App very rapid and exceptional. Wi-Fi good.

Access from outside was not perfect. There are no staff on reception, no buzzer, no phone number outside. No means of contacting anyone from outside unless you already have contact details and have local mobile/data. Front door was repaired while we were there and access code changed - could have been managed better? No TV, only Chromecast. No left luggage facility. Late checkout costs, granted only at last minute and limited to 2pm
