Quality Inn & Suites

Location is great. We stay here 3 to 4 times a year. Breakfast is always good. You can't beat sausage and waffles. The young lady at the desk in the evening (long hair) was helpful and cheerful.

There was hair (not ours) in the bathtub. The drain stopper didn't work in the bathroom sink. The hallway to our room could have used a good scrubbing. There was a definite smell of Marijuana in the hallway, again, not me!

The hotel was easy to find and there are adequate spaces to park the car. I appreciated the refrigerator and coffee maker, a decent TV, the key card worked every time, the lights all worked, the a/c worked and it was quiet, lots of space for my clothes and toiletries, the room was generally clean. Travelled a lot lately, so I no longer take these little things for granted.

Due to Covid, their breakfast room, hot tub, and pool were closed, which I knew in advance. I checked in around 7:30 pm, and the Tim Hortons, Subway, and convenience store next door were all closed, which I didn't expect. Not Super 8's fault. A microwave would have been handy, none in the room. Drove around in search of a dinner. There is lots of construction around the hotel - homes, apartment buildings, office towers, and I didn't expect that to be a problem since I knew I was arriving late and checking out early, but construction started at 7:00 am. There was a problem with the toilet. It wasn't properly secured, so every time you moved, it teetered. Unnerving. I advised them that the toilet in room 402 is not stable, and they promised it will get fixed.

Had wonderful stay and staff were very friendly. Hotel rooms and Bathroom were very clean. Breakfast had multiple option including kids, so had a good time. If we plan nearby location, we will plan to stay back at same hotel.

Hot breakfast dint have vegetarian option. Apart from that everything was just great.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was away from the highway traffic, very appreciated. The beds were very comfortable. Room ventilation was excellent (A/C worked wonderfully).

The grounds could have been better kept, to much garbage lying around. The breakfast was pretty much nonexistent. The pet rate of $20 per night I felt was a bit high. My native status tax break was not accepted at the hotel! Very upsetting since this is 2021 and this tax break became law more than a decade ago! I would guess other "discounts " would be acceptable at the front desk! The bathroom was not handicap accessible as requested.

Only one way in and out ..advised to use side door to go outside for a cigarette ..was told there was a back door we could back in by but it was locked ...Every time we used the side door apparently it sets off an alarm at the front desk ..we feel bad about disturbing the front desk after being told to use it ...outdoor ashtrays would help as so many people just throw the butts all over the front ...we opened our vehicle and disposed in our cup ashtray Otherwise, we can’t wait to be able to come back to hotel ...Great Job and a Big Thanks to all the staff.😀

Breakfast was mediocre but acceptable and well stocked. Staff were very friendly are ensured empty trays were refilled.

The scrambled eggs did not taste like proper scrambled eggs and the sausages were not great quality but the waffles were good.

The room was clean, bed was cozy/comfortable; liked the wild green striped carpeting that looked like a cableknit sweater. Nice to have a microwave and good working fridge.

When I had the a/c on, there was a terrible odour; maybe the unit needs to be cleaned? I had to leave it off. I was on the highway side and it wasn't as noisy as I had expected but I am accustomed to silence so I had to wear earplugs in order to sleep. Think it's too close to the highway re: noise issues.

easily accessible to QEW with lots of food options near by. was quiet for being right on the highway. the room was nice. one of the better beds I’ve had at a hotel surprisingly.

I've stayed here on and off for 5 weeks for work. I've primarily had the same king suite the entire time and it fits my needs perfectly. I get a good nights sleep and the breakfast is much appreciated. I'll be back!

-Room was good value for money! Clean and comfy. -They had amenities but closed because of Covid… -Staff was nice and it was an easy check in and out
