At check in the staff were super friendly and helpful considering it was 11pm! They were very accommodating. The room was a good size with a great bathroom. We had a very late flight so when we checked out they kept our luggage secure (ie behind a locked door) and also provided us with towels and toiletries to use to freshen up before our flight. Every time you walked in the hotel the front counter staff welcomed you. It was really lovely. It is close to the waterfront to have a lovely walk to catch a ferry to Granville Island and it is only 2 stops on the Skytrain to Canada Place. Also only a 20 min trip on the Skytrain to the airport

I really can't think of anything I didn't like.

Staff and service was wonderful. Comfortable room. Location was great and how we found you. Bikes were a welcome addition. Our favorite hotel toiletries! Love that brand. Nespresso machine beats keurig every time.

Shower was great but needs a handheld shower head addition and somewhere to hang the damp wash rag. Bathroom needs more than one place to hang a bath towel to dry. Service was awesome but maybe don’t insist that tired travelers get an app that they told you they wouldn’t use. No thank means no thank you.

The bed was phenomenal! And the location was excellent with good access to transport connections across the city. A bonus to have a glass of bubbles on arrival.

It would be nice to have a compendium in the room. Even to include the channel listings (helpful for us foreigners) and to describe that there was a gym (where and how to access it etc). Also, for non coffee drinkers, or for those that like to mix it up, tea and hot chocolate options would be nice. It would have been helpful to have been asked if it was first time in the city, and did I need any maps or help navigating the city etc.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are so friendly and helpful! This hotel is located ina beautiful spot in downtown so close to so much! My room was so cute and i enjoyed my stay! The nice touch is that you actually clean the rooms and make the beds and change the towels every day. Many hotels have stopped doing that unless you pay a cleaning fee. I won't stay at those hotels anymore, I can't understand what we are paying for if they remove all the service and hospitality.

I wish this location had a pool and hottub!

Great location, comfortable room

We did not get the level room we reserved...it was not available when we arrived. We were given a smaller room and told it was an upgrade and we were still charged for the larger room. We were given a credit for breakfast as an attempt to compensate but should not have been overcharged for a room we did not have, should not have had to accept a smaller room and had to pack up to move into the room we reserved the next day. It was handled poorly. Also, we selected this hotel partially because they offered free bikes. All of their bikes were out for repair so they didn't really offer free bikes despite their advertising.

Absurdly convenient location. Without exception, every staff interaction we had was wonderful.

While the decor was nice, it was apparent that the cool look had been plastered over an old facade. The amenities felt tired. There were no USB ports (aside from one in a clock) and the TV was small & didn't have Chromecast capability. It was all very basic. This isn't so much of a complaint as it is wistfullness. The one area where I would ding OPUS would be their lack of any listed plant-based options in their restaurant menu. The kitchen was happy to make something for us (and it was delicious!), but just labeling a couple of items on the menu as vegan or even vegan-izable would go a long way towards lowering stress levels for travellers like us. In the end, neither of these issues would keep us from staying here again.

The customer service was absolutely amazing. I don't think I've ever had this quality of service & I've stayed at 5 star hotels.

The room location was located on the street. I didn't like how the bathroom was situated. It could've used a bathroom fan. It felt like you could hear all other occupants when in the bathroom. I turned on the water in the sink when in the bathroom.

The location near the Yaletown Skytrain stop is excellent, as well as being close to restaurants and shops. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and updated. It was nice to have daily maid service, which is becoming in short supply in the USA.

I wasn't aware that there was a pull down shade for the wash room at first. It would have been nice for the shade to be partially drawn so that when a guest arrives, they are immediately aware of its availability.

I brought my group to stay at the Opus Hotel, not really knowing what to expect. The staff at the Opus far exceeded our expectations, and we cannot wait to stay again. From the complementary waters and sparkling wine at check-in, the extra assistance in making dinner reservations, and the customer service we received from Scott and his team, I was blown away by our experience. The hotel is located in a very centralized location in Yaletown and immediately across the street from the Canada Line, making it easy to get to from the airport. It's a couple blocks away from the water, giving you easy access to Granville Island as well. There are tons of bars and restaurants within walking distance, and the area feels very clean and safe.

No issues--we had a wonderful stay!

We were not happy with the room we were assigned upon check in. It was on the 3rd floor overlooking busy street. Dorothy, the front office manager, upgraded us to a larger and higher up room. It was also on busy street and had lots of evening noise from the restaurants and bars across the street. However we had been offered a room overlooking the courtyard which would have been very quiet but chose not to take it. The location of the hotel could not be beat as far as things to do. You could walk to the ferries. Near everything in Yaletown.

No complaints.
