The pool was great with a super classic hot tub. Staff was very accomodating with some special requests (picking up and dropping off things at the front desk, finding a vase for flowers, and whatnot). Also, the outdoor lounge area looks great but unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate, instead we used the mezzanine area for some informal receptions with friends. Kitchenette was well appointed. Location was super handy.

I was really frustrated by TVs blaring USA news channels in the lobby, mezzanine, all the public areas. Turn it off! Would have liked to see little bit more safety cautions for sanitary reasons around breakfast buffet as was chaotic and a bit untidy.

The hotel was very nice, car park was big enough for our car and the 3 elevetors meant no waiting for too long. Check in and out was quick and the location was perfect for us. Walking distance from what we needed.

There is a new building being built across the road. No noise at night or weekends but weekdays are noisy. This is not their fault. They have parking around the side to jump in and check in, this could be better sign posted. I had a suite and was sorely disapointed there was no sofa. I would not go back to this hotel until they added sofa's into the rooms. Having to sit on the bed and watch a small TV way across the room was frustrating. They have the space at the end of the bed. No reason why it can't be there. Also had a suite with a balcony but it didn't get used as they have the poorest quality furniture out on the balcony. Needs an upgrage to this.

Excellent location in downtown, a lot of restaurants in walking distance. Tiny kitchenette with a microwave oven, fridge and dishwasher. I had takeout food everyday and used the microwave to heat up the leftovers. Very convenient. Room was spacious, clean, with a working desk. As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe during my stay. Breakfast was mediocre but very convenient. Staff was friendly. Secured indoor parking garage, which made me feel safe. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying in Vancouver downtown!

Location was great! A close walk to the Yaletown neighborhood, which is packed with great restaurants and has access to the Canada line of Skytrain to get around town or to the waterfront area for cruises, which is why we were there. Bus stops were also nearby, making it very easy to get around this wonderful city. The breakfast was good with plenty of options and, while we didn't use it, I poked my head into the gym and it looked decent for a hotel gym.

They were late in getting us checked in and didn't have rooms available by our check in time. The staff was nice about it but we ended up sitting in the lobby for a good bit.

Excellent location, good breakfast (was expecting continental but got a wide variety of warm foods each day), large room, an adequately sized pool, and friendly staff.

Forced to take the elevators, which were associated with long waiting times. We had a fire alarm go off at 6 am one morning and had to evacuate; didn’t bother me per se, but it was apparently the second time in a week for some guests. The price was very, very high, but in line with the high cost of everything in Vancouver at the moment.

Friendly staff, very clean, large room, kitchen, location, adjoining rooms, windows that open, good reading lights by beds. Comfy beds. Enough storage.

The ventilation system within the hotel room is very loud -- I measured 40 dB lying in bed. This is the system which is on permanently, not the one you can control (turn off) within the room. Ear plugs helped but it was a major irritant. Everything else was so great for our needs that I would likely return, but would love to see this fixed in some way.

Clean room, good facilities (we used the laundry)

Arrived at about 8am after an overnight international flight and asked if any rooms available before 4pm check in time and was told no and got put on a waiting list and told we would be notified when room was ready. Wandered around town for about 6 hours and heard nothing so returned anyway to hotel about 2pm and asked if a room was available and was told yes. Not sure why the callback process failed. Spaced out drug users within a block of hotel. (Not a hotel problem as such but more a comment on the location)

my husband and I arrived very early on the day we were to check in, it was 11 AM, and not only did they provide us a room immediately, but they upgraded the room so that we had a balcony as well. The room was immaculate and beautiful, the layout was exceptional. The location was great. We walked by the water every day we were there, and we went to many restaurants all within walking distance, and these were excellent too. The Marriott had provided a list of different types of restaurant and where they were that were within walking distance. Because my conference was at the Sheraton wall center. I had considered staying there, but I am so happy that I chose the Marriott instead, as the Sheraton felt cold and uninviting.

Rooms were excellent - a very good alternative to AirBnB. Room made up nicely every other day, kitchen re-stocked with tea/coffee etc. Dishwasher, hobs, microwave, fridge. Large room, decent desk, sofa and comfy bed

Breakfast was very poor. We went elsewhere for breakfast. I'd still rate the hotel highly and would go back, but would ignore the idea of "free breakfast" and factor in buying breakfast elsewhere.

All of the above! The location was within walking distance of many eateries which were recommended or known to us. Our room was very comfortable with all that we needed, other than complimentary champagne! Breakfast was a total surprise. We expected the usual array of muffins, bagels, toast and some fruit options. The buffet was exceptional, especially since one of us is gluten intolerant, and the little guest with us is lactose intolerant. The choices were healthy and fresh and changed daily. This hotel is most definitely a "return to" destination for us.
