Watermark Beach Resort

The room and kitchenette, washroom etc. was lovely. We got a city view, no lake views available so I thought it would be a nicer view. The balcony, deck was great in terms of size and we used it daily. The location to restaurants and services like the drug store and liquor store was perfect.

The view from the room and I was a bit put off during check in with the staff member who checked us in, it was like we were bothering her and she gave me no info about parking or anything until I asked. Maybe she was having a bad day. The checkout however was great and the staff member in that instance was friendly and kind.

they are a little understaffed. room cleaning before check in took till 3 pm ( we were advices) the hot tubs were being worked on and we’re not in use until later the first night. felt like the whole pool area could use a good cleaning. the tiles around the hot tub had a dark grey ring around them. this was Staring season and there were nests all over. our 4th floor balcony had an active next - a large hole in the stucco with 3 or 4 large babies and a very protective mother. Large amount of bird droppings so the deck was not useful to us.

We enjoyed the good price! We seem to have been upgraded, both times we visited in the last two weeks and that was a nice surprise! No explanation but we had a great room, different to what we had booked, so thank you! We cook all our meals on a trip and appreciated the well equipped and clean kitchen. My husband enjoyed the hot tub and pool after days of biking.

Wanted to use the washer for our laundry but couldn't figure out how to get the washing machine to work. Some posted directions would have been appreciated.

Spacious with spectacular views.

Spider webs everywhere, bugs on the ceiling, as well as dead flies on the corners of the patio doors and window ledges. Floors were quite dirty as I was walking barefoot and after a while sitting down looked at my feet and they were almost black. The carpet upstairs had dirty spots. Needs a good wash.

Staff on check in very friendly and welcoming. The location was great with easy access to the lake front with walking paths. Short walk to shops and cafes. The room was very spacious and comfortable.

The bed was fairly comfortable however it was on the side of being over-firm. We have a firm mattress at home, but this one was too firm and both of us woke up with stiff backs.

Great location, great room. Nice lake views and options for eating. Parking garage was convenient but not designed for trucks at all.

Stairs near room were out of order and only other alternative was miles away on other side of complex. A bit rough when assigned this room and have pet. Restaurant was expensive for the meals provided.

The room was fantastic. The staff was very kind and very quick to answer our calls. We loved the BBQ spaces and the hot tub. WBR was very well located and made it very easy for us to explore the Osoyoos. We will be coming back!

The showers in the men's washroom, and the sauna, could be a little bit cleaner. There were some wet and old tissues on the floor and some hair on the floor. But overall, it was very clean so these issues were minor.

The Watermark is centrally located so most amenities are within walking distance - grocery store, pharmacy, the lake, restaurants, ..... The rooms are fully set up for long term living with a kitchen that has all the necessary items for cooking. A washer and drier are located in each room as is a sizeable deck and large windows to let in the natural sunlight. The rooms and resort are well maintained. I would highly recommend the Watermark as a place to stay.

The kitchenette is super useful, the room was extremely clean and well put together. The best thing though is the location right by the lake!! Amazing walking trail, super calm with a beautiful view.

The only thing we had a problem with was the bed, the spring was broken in the middle. Normally it would've been okay if we were staying 1 night, but we were booked in to stay for 4 nights. We asked the front desk and they were able to resolve it by adding more sheets and covering which made it a little bit better.

We chose this particular property for the view and it did not disappoint as was spectacular. The room was very well appointed and clean.

The only things we didn't like - and this is being nitpicky - was the couch in the sitting room was extremely uncomfortable to sit on and two, the TV remote did not work in the main room.
