Spirit Ridge, in The Unbound Collection by Hyatt

The suite was beautiful and well cared for. The adult pool was great but it would have been a bit nicer if there was easy listening music piped in. The restaurant was really nice, but one of my friends meal was way to tough to eat. The compound is beautiful and it was great to have a shuttle. Although I must say I was disappointed in the shuttle driver that came to pick us back up, he was drinking a glass of wine while driving. I wasn’t even sure if he was with your staff or just someone who was trying to get tips. It wasn’t the fellow who drove us down there. We booked a wine tasting there and the gal who served us was exceptional. A lovely lady who was very knowledgeable and gave us a great time.

My party and I were very disappointed when we arrived. We knew that checkin was 4, but we were hoping we could’ve gotten in early as we arrived early. So we waited…and waited…and waited. Until it was after 4 and I was very angry, the fellow at the counter said he put a priority on it, but I think that was just talk as he couldn’t tell me where the staff were with it, it wasn’t ready. I will say that the staff was trying and gave us a complimentary drink. But I was no longer angry when the manager phoned me and told me that they upgraded our room as an apology. We were very happy with that and I really appreciated it.

This is the difference between staying at a hotel, and staying at a resort! We were done our exploring by 2 pm, and went back to the resort for a swim, hang out on our deck, and admire the beautiful grounds with flowering trees (locust? ) scenting the warm air, ahhh! Now, thats a vacation! The staff were friendly and helpful. Maintenance, grounds, bartenders,waitresses ... everybody seemed to be enjoying their jobs.

The acoustics in the lobby are terrible. A few guests checking in at the same time make a horrible din. Recycling could be made more prominent. A marked container under the sink, more places on the grounds for cans and water bottles etc... Make sure to say when you reserve if you want a bright room, quiet room etc...

Very spacious 1 bedroom suite with full kitchen. Very comfy bed. Outside pool and hot tub area clean with lots of pool loungers and towels. A lady slipped while exiting the hot tub and fell. The next day, there were some mats put down on the steps. On site restaurant, "The Bear, The Fish, The Root & the Berry" had excellent service. Our dinner was very good except the Black forest cake dessert came unexpectedly partially frozen. When brought to the attention of our waiter, he removed it from the bill. Breakfast was also delicious. Chai tea latte was not on the menu, but the waitress (Victoria) made one for me and it was delicious! Close to three golf courses. Sonoma Dunes is the onsite 9 hole course, Osoyoos Golf course is a 10 min drive away, and Nk'Mip is in Oliver about 20 min drive. Requested a later check out time and it was granted. Very enjoyable stay and will definitely return!

Fitness room very small with very limited equipment. Could use an incline bench.

I love the overall resort and the views are wonderful. Our room was ready early so we were able to have a little extra time there. We had 5 adults in our room and they made sure to bring us extra robes even without us asking. The pools were great, staff were around checking the pool as well to ensure safety and stocked towels. The room has most things you need to cook meals. We even utilized our patio barbecue.

Kitchen was missing a couple necessities such as dish cloths to do our dishes, we had soap but no cloths. Also missing coffee maker liners, had coffee but when going to make coffee it overflowed and left grounds everywhere because we had no liner. Also I had called a couple weeks before my reservstion and asked if I could use the amenities before check in time such as visit the cultural centre and winery. I was told that was no problem and I could arrive early. However, when I did arrive early I was then informed the cultural centre isn't open until May. That was disappointing because then we couldn't access any trails behind the cultural centre either.

Room size and layout was okay. Mattress and pillows were decent. Veranda had a decent view. The size of hot tub, the size of saltwater heated swimming pool.

The corners of throw carpets corners were turned up and hazardous. Everyone who visited our room tripped on them and luckily caught themselves on a piece of furniture. Both nights I tripped on a turned up corned while coming back to bed after using restroom, fell onto bed luckily. The hot tub molding has been broken away on 90% of the area previous covered with sharp edges in at least one spot. Have stayed at this hotel several times over the last half dozen years and have watched a decline in the keep up

This was our first holiday with our children and their families all of us together, since Covid. We had a wonderful time and so relaxing. The grandkids enjoyed the pool and took full advantage of it. Our children had an enjoyable time and the rooms they had were very good. My husband and I had a great room overlooking the lake. The interior was updated and it was very well done. We had Room # 403, Desert Suites. We enjoyed our breakfast at the restaurant. All the staff were very attentive. Check in went smoothly with "Ola" who was knowledgeable and very welcoming.

Nothing all was top notch!

We liked that the unit had a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and living room. The bed was very comfy. The room had a peaceful outlook. Having underground parking close to our building was convenient. Enjoyed the views from the restaurant and from the property in general. The breakfast and dinner we had at the restaurant were superb.

Our shower was wonky. The shower head could not be adjusted and we could not control the spray. This resulted in leakage from the shower door especially entering the shower. Created quite a mess on the floor. The wait at the front desk was long at times because some staff were in training and had problems with the computer system. The check in took a long time as there was a lot of instructions and information that was shared. The staff were, however, very friendly and tried their best to please.

We booked Spirit Ridge at the last minute as a stop over en route to Vancouver. Because a mudslide closed the only highway, we were unable to reach the hotel and had to make a major detour through the Kootenays. Although non-refundable the hotel did not hesitate to refund our payment in full, saving us a lot of worry and expense. We are extremely grateful for this and will definitely be staying at Spirit Ridge the next time we pass through Osoyoos.

We liked the layout of the suite especially the bedroom.

We have stayed here previously and had a unit over the golf course on the third floor. On this trip we booked a corner room and were placed on the second floor over the resort laundry. You could hear the water pipes from 7 in the morning to 11 at night. It was very annoying as was the location over the main road. I was told that this suite was the only one left. It is not desirable by any means for the cost.

The ambiance is inviting, love the Indigenous touches and the quiet calmness despite the number of guests. Amazing restaurant; hats off to the chef! Very impressed with our Lebanese waiter; he made us feel comfortable, he was observant and attentive, knowledgeable, congenial and polite. A very impressive young man who added to the enjoyment of our stay.

We love your resort and if I had to nit pick about something it would be the no trespassing sign accessing the trail along the beach heading north. This may have nothing to do with you but it was always been one of the activities we enjoyed during our stays at Spirit Ridge.
