Pretty much everything! Perfect location on the beach. Swimming area is roped and shallow. Perfect for kids. Balcony view is amazing. Room was updated and very clean. Kitchenette was excellent.

The only thing I would mention is that the very nice BBQs do not have ignitor switches that function and the five lighters did not work the first night. We had to get staff to come light it. By the next day, there were working lighters and no further issues.

The room has all the facilities stated - we booked a one bedroom suite for our family of 4, with a pull out sofa bed. It has a full size fridge, stove top, oven and sink. For the price we paid, it's super awesome. We are surrounded by beaches everywhere so the environment is amazing. Overall, we really like our stay at this location and the owner is super friendly and live on site.

Some notes for those with kids: the room does seem a little small with limited space but we're surrounded by beach areas all around, there are lots of space for kids to burn their energies. We did end up cooking few meals at the suite but the smoke alarm kept ringing because there wasn't a fan in the suite - perhaps plan less greasy food to avoid the smokiness in the room. We went in April so it was quite chilly but with us cooking, the room was still on the warm side and with the A/C on, we still barely felt cool. I imagine it may not be very cool in the summer even with the A/C on. Our neighbors were quite loud even after 11pm - we were lucky the girls went to bed before the neighbors returned or else it would be a difficult night.

The location and cooking facilities. The quiet, value for money, cleanliness, accessibility to the car, the access to the beach and shopping. This was our second visit as we like the place and people.

Communication. We are not very cell phone literate and do not always use internet when travelling. We spent some time figuring out how to access our room when we tried to check in. The receptionist sent an email with instructions that we did not receive. Fortunately after a couple of hours someone came to the motel and we were able to get our key and check in. However, it is too bad they could not call us on the cell phone to let us know instead of using email which does not work on our cell when travelling.

the hotel managing couple was super-friendly, easily available, and quickly taking care of every single request we stayed for one week; due to frozen pipes, we were upgraded to a very comfortable apartment in the building nearby; the apartment was way more than we wished/asked for, we loved being there; the views from both properties were great

the first room was a bit shabby (please change carpet!); the room was large, and it took a long time to warm up; it was poorly insulated against vile winds at -20 Celsius (!); the room did not have adequate lamps, yet floor lamps and a microwave oven were provided

The 2-bedroom accommodation had ample parking and a beautiful lakeside location with seats on the grass beside the lake. We were told otters and beavers came up onto the beach, but sadly not for us! The balcony was very pleasant, with comfortable table and chairs overlooking the lake and the lakeside promenade was just over the road.

The first bedroom was excellent; the second bedroom was claustrophobic, with no window or air con. The communal entrance hall was in need of redecoration, although the flat itself was nicely-decorated and modern.

The location is a 10+ staff were very good, I am shocked this place is only considered a 2 star, in my opinion it was fabulous, rooms are nice and comfortable, the location is excellent. This cute motel should be rated a 4 star.

We travel with our little dog all the time and it was not clear that it is pet friendly "Only in off season" Also no smoking even outside, pretty sick and tired of thoose kind of rules. As long as people are being responsible with their dogs would be nice to have more freedom and options out there.

Steps away from private beach and fire chiminea . Outdoor patio area. Friendly staff. Kitchenette with dishes and coffee maker. Quaint.

Kitchenette had a toaster oven but no microwave. Some missing amenities like the folding rack to put a suitcase on but dresser available for longer stays. No plug in by kitchen table so plugging laptop in and using it on a chair by the bed. No iron and ironing board. There is no phone in room but I just used my cell... it was not an issue. It was just not what I have seen before.

I could walk everywhere; it was quiet, the room was so clean. I could make myself breakfast and coffee before the cafes and restaurants were open. There was a private beach where I watched the sunrise and a paved path was across the street. The motel was centrally located between my hiking destinations, perfect! And Ambrosia restaurant was just steps away.

Bed was very comfy. I think we had a newly renovated room, the bathroom was nice and modern. Perfect location on the beach which was private. A/C and heating. TV was big and good quality. Well equipped kitchen, everything you needed. The room was very clean with nice white towels provided. Not our room, but the second floor rooms at the front overlook the lake and have a big seating area which would be lovely. Not sure which room types these are. If we came to Osoyoos in the summer we would definitely stay here.

A few negatives but these didn't ruin our stay. The door to our room was so tight in the frame we literally had to use our body weight to open it. The windows are old and draughty, with no heating in the bathroom it was very cold in there. The WiFi was also really weak, not strong enough to use. The wire to our digi box wasn't working but the owner came and sorted this out. Not really a negative but, the previous reviews made us anxious we would get an unrenovated room. So maybe state if they are all renovated or something like that.

The property is in an excellent location, the sandy beach is perfect, we stayed in the condos/apartment lots of room, excellent patio facing the lake for morning coffee and drinks!! Excellent walking distance to town or rattlesnake canyon!!

Nothing I can say I didn’t like!!
