very good location for my appointments; good parking situation for people with restricted mobility; availability of drinks and snacks 24/7; I liked very much that I could open the window instead of using the airco; mini-fridge (for drinks, chocolate and medication(!) ) & tea/coffee facilities were very welcome.

were it neighbours or cleaning ladies (specially on Sunday morning) slamming the doors permanently in a way to wake the dead....? I didn't expect such a childish ruthlessness. prices for drinks in the self-service seemed to be a bit high; astonishingly not all receptionists speak French (in Brussels) AND English 🤔 - bizarre.... I did not get more specific information about the modalities of the car free Sunday - I expected local staff could help but was not the case.

The room and bed were very comfortable, I've stayed in both the smaller and larger ones. Wifi was good. Good selection for breakfast with free ordering on egg dishes. Very well located for the Commission buildings, but also for access to other parts fo the city, either long walking or metro - 3 large museums 15 minutes walk away. Staff were on the most part very friendly and helpful. Lots of restaurants around, 3 Carrefour expresses within 5-10 minutes. Easy access form the airport by train or taxi. Best to check out before you have to leave, you might get caught in a queue at busy times.

Piped music was a little noisy in the corridor outside the room. I felt the restaurant was too expensive - 17.50 for a pizza? - very tasty though.

We didn’t want to stay in Grand Place as too noisy so Berlaymont was a good quiet choice of location. Travelling from Schuman station was good but only once we had worked out how to use the metro system, arriving on a Saturday there were no train staff to help us and the receptionist at the hotel was unable to help also. We had to ask the man in the supermarket at the station for guidance. Room was quite uninspiring but this is predominantly a hotel for business use. Bed was beautifully comfortable with good quality linen. Housekeeping was also good. Lighting in the room was very, very poor and I needed to use the torch on my mobile phone in the area by the wardrobe in order to see. Restaurant and quality of food was excellent.

Very nice room, comfortable, super large bed/mattress/pillows. Kettle and Nespresso machine with some tasty teas. Very, very quiet bedroom. Staff friendly and helpful, multilingual. Breakfast was a good variety of very tasty food. Quick food bar next to reception was very useful for grabbing dinner/lunch for the room or carry out (drinks, sandwiches and cold salads/pastas). Free Wifi up to 5 Mbps. Location next to the main EU Berlaymont building, restaurants and bars within a few metres. 25 minutes walk to the centre but also next to the metro Schumen station.

Check in could have been a little faster - if there are a queue of people. But nothing really not to like.

Staff members were excellent. Unai, Naila and Vanessa were very friendly and helpful. Unai was very funny and made us welcome after a long day of travel from England. The hotel is 2 minutes from Schuman metro which was great whenever we went out without the car. We only had breakfast one day which was nice but pricey. There are other eating options available locally.The rooms were large, beds were comfortable so we had restful nights.

The bath in the 1st room we were given was blocked but we were given another room straight away. Unfortunately, this had similar but not as bad problem. Once we reported again, it was promptly dealt with. The bathrooms generally needed a bit more TLC for a 4 star hotel. I wonder if this was a result of Covid but I'm not sure. This is the only negative point I have about the hotel.

The rooms are nice, there is a lot of natural light and they are quite big, too. Comfortable bed and pillows. Nice view from the window towards the EU quarter. Good wifi connection. Excellent position if your business is in the European District.

There are some construction works in the street right now so if your room is on that side, there's no sleep past 7.30 am. Also, one morning the cleaning staff knocked and entered room at 8 am. I really do not understand this habit. Some furniture and other details slightly dated, but the overall experience was pleasant and the price ok.

Spacious rooms, delicious breakfast and room amenities (coffee, tee, water). Also, cleaning was really good. Location is good too - it’s quite and not crowded, there are a lot of parks in walking distance, metro is nearby too.

There was a strange smell in the room, probably from carpet floor. Feels like hotel rooms need renovation. Had to open windows all the time. Also, on the last day of my stay I found dead cockroach on the table:(

The hotel is located in a very nice neighborhood, 3 min walk to the metro station which takes to you the center in 10 minutes or so. The hotel is high quality in all means but especially the breakfast buffet was above my expectations. You had everything you need even for people with limited diet like me (they had a gluten-free corner which melted my heart). Beds were comfy and rooms were large enough. The room service brought everything we need from toothbrush to hand cream for free.

The pillows are so thin and the bathtub is a bit small. Overall bathroom is really nice but the shower could have more large area. But this is not something I'd care too much not to book again.

I was said that I will be charged at the hotel, but instead they charged me before, they cashed in the reservation. I had some truoble because of that and aditional steps were there to take and I payed twice. I hope i will get my refund for the ammount that was charged via cashing in the reservation. Why are doing different that it is said when reserving online trough booking.com. I don’t like that.

Breakfast was nice, and the location is perfect especially if you have meetings with the EU/EC. Staff was kind and helpful despite some having language issues. My room was very clean and so was the other areas within the hotel.

The English language TV Channels were very limited and wifi was not as fast as I expected it to be. The fact they didn't have an in-room dining menu handy was a hassle since someone from reception had to come up to help with that and once they did the selection needed major work.
