The room

The allocation of car space needed a bit more effort to reserve an ongoing car park rather than hunting one out.

LOCATION is the BEST. Our self contained apartment had a full kitchen, bathroom & laundry facilities. On the 17th floor, with spectacular views. The room we had '2027' (an upgrade at my request for a higher floor) upon booking, also had a balcony, almost as big as my entire house at home, that overlooks what I would say is the best part of the river and Southbank. (Where the man made beach & the Brisbane Flyer/Eye, whatever it's called, was the view from inside our bedroom, and 180 degree views of the river from the balcony.

The construction noise all day, from the big black building being built out the front! That the pool windows were covered in filth, and it completely took away from what was otherwise the best view in town from a pool!

This hotel is in a fabulous location with the stores just around a corner . We got a taxi over to the wheel , Taxi drivers are quite different in Brisbane ! Quite rude if they think its a short fair ( even if you are giving them a huge tip ) but that is nothing to do with the hotel , which was awesome . We love the spa and the sauna .

Maybe leave a few more consumables in the apartments that are being occupied for the week and not a day . Especially as they are unserviced. It is a pain to ask for another sachet for dishwashing liquid or another bin bag or dishwasher powder . Yes you can go to reception , but f being occupied for 5 days - should have a couple of days supplies at least .

Great apartment with magnificent view overlooking the river. Full kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Pool and spa were beautiful. Very helpful staff.

The booked parking was weird and confusing. Had to search late at night driving up and down levels for the signed hotel parks. On the second night couldn't find a park and had to go down to reception while my husband, with mother in law in tow, kept trying to find one. Joyful for him as you can imagine. I was then told the reception phone number to use if this happened again as they can temporarily direct you to an available vacant park usually used by the buildings residents. This would have been very useful information to have when checking in.

I booked over the Christmas period 10 apartments for our family to spend Christmas together. This was a huge endeavor as there were different nights of arrival/departure. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and patientl. I did have everything worked out but at the last minute a couple of changes needed to be made for various reasons. Everything was done with patience and a smile.

The only thing I guess was a problem for me was the room we were in must have had new carpet and I was very allergic to it, I guess the only way to get rid of the smell would be to leave the door open

I loved the pool and the view, also the great size of the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful during check in and check out. I enjoyed my stay. The kitchen was full size, so would be good for a longer stay. The balcony was really large and had a lovely view over the river.

Not much, apart from the room being a bit bright at night, as the curtains were not fully black out. Also, I wish there was a vending machine with snacks, as when it got late, I walked out to a store. Even if you sold a few light snacks from reception.

The location of this complex is excellent, close to the Mall, Southbank and Restaurants. The rooms are adequate in size for a one bedroom unit and nicely appointed. A quiet location. These are purely the reasons why I would give this hotel a recommendation.

The room wasn't as clean as it should have been. The outside of the cupboards in the kitchen and bathroom were dirty. The bathroom mirror was very dirty and unable to be used for vanity purposes. The check-in staff were not friendly and did not even greet us when we arrived. However the departure staff were much more engaging with us. I think that the parking is overpriced, compared to other city hotels.

Location was brilliant. We could walk everywhere we wanted from here. The view was fantastic. Great level (31). The balcony was tops.

Sofas were too deep for me and I have been suffering with bad backache ever since. With no cushions for my back it was difficult to get comfortable. Shower would be better if it could be adjusted. One day I didn't wash my hair and I had to use the shower cap (something I never need to do with an adjustable shower).

We loved the spacious rooms, the views of the river and casino from the balcony, and location right in the city. The pool was great for a short swim and the gym was very popular. Kids loved that Pancke Manor was around the corner.

The parking was hectic. Even booking in advanced we struggled to find parking inside levels reserved for hotel parking. It is a shared building so I understand that guests of permanent residents plus hotel guests will make parking difficult during peak holiday periods.

Great location, entertaining views, large living area, separate good size bedroom, adequate size bathroom, good/strong shower head, everything you could possibly want in the kitchen area, made for a very pleasant stay on “our” special occasion (because we probably wouldn’t stay here at the price, normally). But the pool and spa were terrific and appropriately warm (which I’m sure is very costly). I would love to live here 💕.

A small critique - one small soap for the shower & the basin seemed rather penny pinching! And we were a bit cold one night and I wasn’t sure how the heating worked (yes, I know, I could have asked - but it wasn’t a big deal).
