W Brisbane

Classy, Funky, Groovy. The vibe of this hotel is so cool. We felt like we had walked into an architectural wonderland. So different to traditonal hotels that we are accustomed to. Check in was so easy. Front desk were very polite and welcoming - hats off to management for obviously excellent training standards. Location was fantastic with great views south over the river towards the Southbank Precinct. Very easy walking distance to Queens Street Mall, Southbank etc. Breakfast was expensive but fantastic and could not be faulted. The lift to our room was superquick. Water pressure in the shower was great. The bed was super-comfy. Thank-you for a wonderful stay. As a side note, trying to open the fridge for the first time was an adventure that we eventually solved.

Loved the décor & overall atmosphere at this hotel, the technology was great, very fun to use, although at times not the easiest to manage. The hotel has a very luxurious feel, especially the spa, pool & gym facilities and staff were really friendly.

I would stay here again for up to 2 nights, as the room service could have been a lot better, the first morning my room was serviced efficiently & I was given extra amenities. However, by day 3 & 4, my amenities (robes, towels, coffee, shampoo) were being taken away & not replaced & I needed to call multiple times to have things replaced. The bed was made with less effort each day & the floors/ counters weren’t cleaned at all during the stay - I had a photographer for a birthday shoot who wiped dust off a few places before taking my photos.

Excellent location and view, valet parking, reception and wet deck bar staff very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast at the Lex restaurant was superb .. would definitely go there for dinner when in Brisbane

There were no dining, light supper or coffee facilities available after 9pm .. except room service .. we attended a live show and returned by 10 pm and was a little disappointed i was unable to enjoy a coffee with my partner while he had a glass of wine at the bar lounge. We were advised I could only get room service coffee. We left after the one drink.

Loved the decor and the tech savvy. Room service staff were absolutely lovely!

The concierge staff were incredibly false and insincere. The resting faces were horrendous, then Li up like Christmas in front of you,but once any conversation ended, their faces dropped in front of you like we didn't exist anymore. At least wait until people leave before you reveal your truths. On the wet Deck, noone had the courage to say enough is enough with the behaviour of some kids in the pool. Parents did nothing despite kids being told off. It was time to have difficult conversation with a parent.

Great room , great view, good size bed and shower , location excellent to river walks, shopping and night life. Breakfast was al a carte or buffet (buffet not worth the cost) , nice restaurant for breakfast and staff very friendly. Bell staff were excellent and friendly . The hotel is funky design.

The coffee/bar lounge on 1st floor won't serve a coffee unless you booked for high tea The hotel feels more like apartments, the only contact with staff is bell porter or reception - you don't really feel like a guest of a hotel - no hotel manager in sight - the room has one small cage to hang clothes and no draw space - so l would not choose more than 2 nights here as lived out suitcase . The lights were so confusing and everyone in the family constantly was trying to open /close curtains or switch on and off the lights ))

Not like any other average hotel. Very unique design and exceptional vibe. Was first a bit worried if design would take over comfort but the room was quite cozy and fun. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Central location and close to a great variety of restaurants. A stay you will remember in a good way.

A bit noisy at times from the street, windows weren’t quite noise proof. the lighting in the room was a bit finicky and took some getting used to. The touch controls weren’t working well on one side of the bed. Pool area was maybe a bit small for the number of guest the hotel can accommodate.

Lovely room with river views, great bathroom and good size bed and comfortable mattress Location is great to shopping area Queen Street, easy access via bridge to South Bank and then a beautiful path along the river to Howard Smith Wharves The hotel has a nice restaurant on 3rd floor for breakfast , there is a swimming pool and spa but we did not have time to use it

Mini bar prices are crazy (for this type room mini bar should have some inclusions) If you staying awhile not having cupboards or draws for clothing would be an issue - the small cage for hanging does not suffice You barely see any staff except for the reception - it feels very automated and you could be living in an apartment

Good location and facilities.

Staff were inconsistent about the charge for the third guest of my booking. I booked for 3 adults and messaged the hotel to confirm any extra charges for the 3rd person as the reservation kept showing I booked for 2 adults even if I selected "3" adults in my search. Then hotel replied that there was no extra charge for the 3rd guest as the room could accommodate 4 adults. But when I was checking in, the receptionist was going to charge me for the 3rd guest and I had to show her the message I had from W. She then had to talk to someone else to confirm if there was any extra charge. So I ended up waiting at concierge for a long period of time. Management seemed a bit chaotic.

Warm welcome by staff and concierge. Location was perfect: convenient to Queens street and a great view of the river. Parking easy (although a bit on the high side compared to other hotels).

The pillows. For the price per night of the hotel, I thought there would either be a range of different ones on the bed or the option to swap out the feather ones for something else in the cupboard. Might as well not had a pillow as they went that flat when your head laid on it.

Everything! Room facilities second to none. Ethernet connection available for high speed internet. Touch-buttons for blinds, doors, lights etc were so cool! Casting from apps to TV. Free Wi-fi fast and easy. Comfy beds, iron bathtub and so much more. Pool - awesome! Service outstanding. Little touches of love everywhere. Room service amazing! 12 pm checkout!! I could go on all day. This hotel has obviously listened to every piece of feedback about things that guest find irritating and done things differently. We felt like rockstars. Thank you for making our family feel so welcome!
