Location of the hotel is quite convenient. Situated close to the Brisbane CBD, it offers easy access to popular tourist attractions and shopping centers. It was only a 5km return trip walking to Fortitude Valley. The nearby ferry terminal was an added advantage to get me to and from South Bank. The apartment itself was spacious and well-maintained. The room was clean and had all the basic amenities required for a comfortable stay. The kitchenette was adequately equipped, which was useful for preparing light meals. Additionally, the view from the apartment was pleasant, overlooking the river and nearby surroundings.
It’s an old building and seems a little outdated. I can appreciate the improvements they made to the reception area but the main bedrooms could use a little refurbishment especially the tiles and carpets. A little soundproofing will help too! I can literally hear the noise from the bar downstairs all the way to the 4th floor!

Great location for work. Central to where I needed to go for client visits. Close to some good eating places. There’s a great bar attached to the the hotel called The Lawn that serves great meals, overlooking the water and with really friendly staff.
The ferry’s aren’t handy anymore as there is a new bridge going up closing one of the docks and repairs needed to the other close one, so couldn’t get to the restaurants across the water without driving. Would be great if the bar/restaurant called The Lawn, attached to the hotel, would serve breakfast. For a short business trip like I did, I wouldn’t have bothered going anywhere else for meals.

Gorgeous location next to the Brisbane River. Nice balcony to make use of the views. Excellent curtains and blinds to allow for a good night's sleep. Several restaurants, bars and eating establishments near by. A small mini-mart and bottle shop just across the road. Very quiet location, despite being so close the CBD.
Parking is across the road and up a small side street - no direct building access. Some of the fittings and fixtures in the apartment are starting to look a little old and tired. The TV is small and in need of an update.

A beautiful location the unit could have needed a update especially get rid of the carpets, lounges could have been updated & fans needed in lounge room & bedroom if humid but that's what you gets in older motels but I could not fault it I love the location wonderful value for money I will definitely return again
We had a little Hiccup with parking we paid for as my daughter's Prado would not fit under the space but the staff found a place which was absolutely awesome Seen we had two babies with us but apart from that there was very little I could fault fans in the bedroom was one thing that was greatly needed

I loved the position. It was close to the city but felt like I was in a quieter suburb. Water location was exceptional. staff were exceptional and very helpful. parking was awesome and the cost very reasonable.
I booked hoping to catch the river cat around the city. The dock unfortunately was closed. Not the properties fault The room I booked could also do with a facelift. It’s a little dated I would also suggest getting a room on the right side of the building as the dump trucks in the morning at the loading zone were horrendous and woke us up before 6am. We also had a room beside the lift and it was a little annoying hearing the lift go up and down beside the room

The apartment was spacious and comfortable with a lovely view of the river and parts of the city.
Although this is not the responsibility of Dockside Apartments, I was disappointed the ferry dock was not operational as it is being replace. Consequently, being unable to use the ferry for many of our planned activities, we had to find alternative transport to get to various locations. The ferry is definitely a bonus for Dockside and makes travelling to the City and South Bank easy and convenient.

The Dockside Ferry terminal is closed. It will be amazing on a couple of Years when the new one is finished. 1km walk to Holman street ferry or about 700m to a bus at present. Very pleasant walk. Not so much fun in 30+ degrees this week.

Great central location. Very clean, very well equipped with washing machine and tumble dryer. Pool area was good. Good parking with shops opposite. Great views over the river. Good choice if TV channels. Well equipped kitchen.
Wi-Fi was unusable. Difficult to connect and when you did it dropped out. Whilst everything we clean the kitchen and bathroom looked a bit dated and tired. Some furniture was starting to look tatty. We could not find a non slip mat for the shower which was a bit slippery.

Great location at Kangaroo Point. Walking distance to Ferries, Hotel and cafes/restaurants. Staff at were reception were very professional and helpful in every way.
Although our apartment was big and well equipped with lovely river views, it was a Standard Apartment and was very original and tired with carpet that urgently needs replacing by the owners. The apartment is due for a full upgrade to bring it to 2023 standard expectations. TIP. Do not book a standard apartment, choose a higher level of apartment.

Needs a bath mat in the bath when having a shower. My wife slipped in the bath, got in touch with the receptionist who said they did not supply mats but would get one for us. This did not happen so we had to purchase one ourselves. ( not very good service) also mixed information on room cleaning one said every Tuesday another said they did not have a room cleaning service?.
