Paramount Motel

The hosts Les and Moira were lovely, helpful people. The room was very clean and comfortable, with air-conditioning, tv, queen and single beds. The kitchen had a full size fridge/freezer, microwave, stove and oven, cutlery, crockery, pots, electric frypan, toaster and cordless kettle. The bathroom had plenty of room and the shower had great water pressure. The Paramount Motel itself was only a 5 minute drive to the Mater Hospital, where we had to be. There was also a number of eateries, takeaway places and an IGA Express, most within walking distance of the motel. We'd highly recommend the Paramount Motel as a place to stay in Brisbane.

Superb location, with great views from the room. Friendly, spacious 1 bedroom apartment; nice, big king bed and spacious storage; large sliding doors to the balcony from both bedroom and lounge room. Functional kitchen with everything I needed and more. Bathroom large, well-lit, full laundry with tub, washing machine and dryer.

Only tiny minus re bathroom: floors and shower tub could have been cleaned better after last visitors. On the edge of the bathtub, there was dried-up soap from a bar someone had placed there previously. And the tile floor looked like it had not been mopped.

Very good price Rest of accommodations were more expensive when events were on in Brisbane

I arrived at the Woolongabba Bus Station and had to walk to the property due to no Public Transport travelling up Main St. As there are hills and inclines to get to the property it makes it difficult for me. Otherwise, the location of the property to the Gabba ground is great.

Location was exceptional for our needs, close to hotel where there was a bottle shop, excellent eateries and if one wished to gamble good little pokie room. Very close to city and some lovely sightseeing if one wanted to have a small walk to see cliffs overlooking river. The motel was dated but we loved the fact there was a kitchen with all appliances and crockery and large bathroom. Our room was in a very quiet area and we were pleasantly surprised as the motel is on a very busy street.

Other that motel was old we were very happy to stay there no problems at all.

to be honest this is an old property but for the price we paid it well and truly bats above its weight. It has 4 things going for it. 1. it’s within walking distance of Kangaroo Point and even the CBD. It is on Main st but all the rooms are located towards the back of the property. We heard no traffic noise from our room. 2. the room was clean in a way that it had always been kept that way. 3. it was safe. There were locks on the doors and windows and management live on site, and 4 our room had a queen bed, Tv, small dinner table, full sized fridge, microwave and a bench top shelf cooker with 2 hot plates on top. It had enough facilities that you could stay a few nights / week or so. I could and probably will happily stay at this premises again.

The room was clean, spacious and they provided everything we needed. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and made everything very clear.

The pool looked like it hadn’t been used in a while so we didn’t go in and the WiFi was bad sadly.

Great handy location. Comfortable bed Clean tidy room with good kitchen facilities. .

Kargaroo point is within walking distance… if you has a car and would like to stay near CBD, this is the place to choose

No room service, if you want towel change you need to speak to the reception. Wifi is available but very slow

The location is great, the staff friendly and helpful, the room clean and parking was available. The room we were originally booked in had some problems that needed to be addressed so we were provided with another room which was very good.

A little noisy from the traffic - Apt 21.

So clean. Easy access. Intrraction with staff very pleasant and helpful. Easy 15 min walk to Mater Hospital. Bed is the most comfortable one we’ve had in a motel. Definitely 5/5.
