Brisbane Street Studios

I went there with my daughter for her tennis tournament. The location is excellent! 5 min walking distance to Woolworth and it’s shopping plaza, cafe cross the street and McDonald’s near by all making this great place for us.

The property is very noisy at night, due to the traffic sounds, especially the first couple of nights, then you kind of got used to it. They do provide earplugs. I think there is a hospital nearby? Lot of helicopters and ambulance sounds at night, which is such a shame. The pillow cases we had didn’t smell very fresh which I didn’t really like it.

it was perfect for my needs. The unit contained everything necessary for a five night stay: microwave, small induction cooktop, fridge/freezer, even a washer/ dryer! And a very good air conditioner that was heating up the room, on a cold Brisbane night, upon my arrival. The bed was comfy, the facilities were quite modern and the complex appeared to be a hidden gem in the middle of a very busy suburb, with the PA Hospital being just down the road.

There appeared to be metered street parking only, as the small car park was taken. However there is free parking on Brisbane Street from 7 pm to 7 am. I left for work at 7:30 each day and never received a ticket.

Close to amenities and public transport..Close to city Good WiFi. Washing machine / dryer a fabulous feature. Kitchenette great for meals too. Plenty of eat out options with more only a short bus ride away.

Traffic noise is evident at night and might be a problem for some..I didn't find it unbearable! Earplugs are provided complimentary in room - a nice touch of service. TV reception was a bit patchy at times.

Brisbane Street Studios delivered exactly what it said on the tin. The location was excellent. The hotel is an easy walking distance away from both public transport and a decent shopping centre. The facilities were completely usable, and the privacy was good.

Of course, it was quite difficult to get to the hotel since there is no available parking and since it is wedged between a main road and a suburb. You cannot drive yourself and you cannot realistically walk with luggage. So, on arrival, at least a taxi is needed.

I live out of Brisbane and needed to be at an early appointment at the Princess Alexandra hospital, so we stayed the night prior. It was the perfect location. The room was clean and spacious for a couple. Great Vietnamese Bahn Mi joint across the road in the shopping centre, which also has a Woolies and some other shops.

Location near public transport and groceries shopping center. Besides having a few restaurants and food outlets in the near vicinity, there is also a 24 hour Macdonald restaurant within a 5 minute walk. The studio unit has some basic cooking equipment and utensils , washing machine, fridge, jug kettle, plates etc. The staff are great and Tim is very helpful and polite.

Noisy traffic and siren as it is near a busy road and a hospital.

Very comfortable, good location, veré near to some supermarkets and bus stop. The place is pretty clean and the apartment is sound isolated.

It's very near the streets and the hospital, so except some noises from ambulances and helicopters, but it doesn't bother that much because the windows are soundproof

At a time of crisis (my wife who is only 30 so that made this a bigger shock - had sudden internal bleeding due to a ruptured organ. ) The 1st night was as we has no where else; my son and I but couldn't leave my wife at the PA and go home to Hervey Bay, she started to get on the mend but the 2nd night last minute was to make sure. We had to borrow money as its something we didn't plan for but the property and where it was made it so worth it. It was close to he PA hospital, clean, comfy.. easy. Which in this time of fear, was a godsend. -Anthontn Smith

Lovely location close to various bus stops. I was in the city within 15 mins. Close to shops, pharmacies, restaurants etc. I was there for a whole month. Rooms was cleaned once a week. Manager was very responsive to emails and questions and very helpful! Wifi worked well. I checked-in after hours and key pick up was easily arranged.

Its right at a busy street so you can constantly hear traffic noise.

Near shops, fruits and vegetable market and bus stop. Staff were friendly and helpful, thanks Tim.

The noise and vibration from the washing machine in my unit. I am sure woke my neighbors in the mornings (I choose to do my wash early mornings.
