I stayed the l'Opera Hanoi on two occasions over a one week period and found the location to be perfect, the staff efficient, helpful and pleasant, and the room decent in size. Great food but very expensive. Their left luggage service was very helpful

The room was very dark and dingy, though it was in keeping with the theme of being "opera" in style. Zero natural light. No wall between bathroom and room / just a curtain - shocking, not informed. Luckily I was living solo. Food was very expensive

it is perfect location the design is nice service is good and attentive

no window or the only thing which was not nice designed were the windows which are not transparent and with very cheap frame doesn’t fit to all the rest

The staff and service were simply amazing; they went above and beyond to ensure that I had a comfortable and memorable stay. The hotel was situated in the best possible location in Hanoi, making it incredibly easy for me to explore the city's most popular attractions. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality by the hotel staff, who made sure that my check-in process was smooth and efficient. Throughout my stay, they were always available to assist me with any questions or requests that I had, whether it was arranging transportation or recommending local restaurants and bars.

The rooms in the 5-star hotel were subpar, particularly in comparison to those in 5-star hotels in Ho Chi Minh. Upon examining other hotels in Hanoi, it appears that this is the prevailing standard.

High quality breakfast buffet, excellent french pastries. Careful and quick staff. The Lautrec restaurant is definitely worth trying. Pool and gym every morning was just perfect.

The mattress has done its time…and would deserve an exchange.

Stylish hotel in a convenient, central location in Hanoi. Rooms were well-appointed and comfortable, with double-paned windows for quiet in the city. Great amenities were provided, and the staff/service were fantastic to provide help with our booking changes and with whatever we needed in our rooms. Highly recommended!

Wonderful, stylish hotel located in a prime location in Hanoi near the Opera House. Friendly staff and service made our stay very comfortable from the front desk, housekeeping for items, and other staff. Rooms were well decorated with comfortable beds and a sizable bathroom.

Everything excellent from start to end. Fast efficient checkin, friendly staff who could speak English which we have found is rare in Vietnam, lovely building, perfect location, fabulous breakfast, free bottled water and so comfortable beds and pillows.

beautiful decor and great location in Hanoi's art deco area right adjacent to the old quarter. the hotel was really delightful as a mini honeymoon location and for my wife to catch up with her Hanoi friends after an extended time abroad.

only grumble would be rooms didn't have a view and central courtyard could be more pleasantly arranged.

The room: It looks very cozy. I liked the décor. Chair by the desk: I have lower back pains and I always have with me something to support my lower back but when I sat on this chair, my lower back felt very comfortable. I wish I had that in my office. Its height cannot be adjusted but it was very comfortable for me. The bed: I love it!!! The duvet, the pillows, the mattress - I could just sleep the whole day. I attended the Christmas Eve dinner in Café Lautrec and the the staff were very attentive. I'm very glad I went to Hanoi and decided to spend my Christmas holiday here. It was a great stay.

There was no bidet :( When I returned in the evening, the cleaning rag they used was left in my room placed on my backpack :(
