Bonsella Hotel

Excellent value for money hotel in the Old Quarter area next to the lake. Anna & Ocean & their team make this hotel outstanding in customer service. On check in Anna walked us across the street & ordered pho for us from a local Vietnamese restaurant. Ocean organised a limo bus to our next destination. We have tried other hotels in the area & have been disappointed we were not stayi ng at Bonsella. We look forward to our next visit to Hanoi & staying at Bonsella Hotel.

That we didn't stay longer

We had stayed in Hanoi earlier in our trip at another hotel. When we were coming back through before flying out we stayed at this property one night. We wished we had stayed here the first part. What I liked most was the location. It is literally like a block from the lake in Hanoi, and so close to all the places you want to eat and visit. The breakfast was great and the breakfast room had great lake views.

If you arrive on the weekend, the roads in that area are closed. That was great for walking around, but made it tricky for our taxi to get us dropped off.

Was recommended this hotel and it didn't disappoint. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful at all times. Th We had the executive suite and it was very spacious and very comfortable. The location is excellent, allowing you to walk any direction. It was also on a quiet street. It is a smaller hotel, only nine levels and one lift. This did not affect our experience and we appreciated not having to negotiate lots of people that you would normally expect in a larger hotel.

Nothing. We did not opt for any breakfast inclusion or had any meals on site so cannot comment on those facilities.

The Manage, Mr. Ocean was very helpful throughout our stay. He also arranged our day trip to Halong bay which was very enjoyable. The weather that day was superb. Hotel was at edge of Old Quarters and 2 minutes walk to to Hoam Kam lake. Hotel situated off the busy main streets and was quiet. Breakfast was decent and the waitress was very responsive. overall, I would give a big thumbs up to all the staff for their friendliness and special thanks to Mr. Ocean.

The Bonsella Hotel is in an excellent location, one street back the lake and in an area where the old quarter overlaps the French quarter. The street is quiet and we didn’t hear any city noise at night. The room was very clean and comfortable with a very good bed and nice bathroom. Breakfast was included with a variety of foods on offer. The staff were attentive and so helpful. I can highly recommend staying at the Bonsella Hotel.

Bonsella Hotel is a nice hotel in the very centre of Hanoi, just one minute away from Hoan Kiem Lake. The hotel is very clean, the breakfast buffet is good and rich and the rooms are nicely decorated. But, the aspect that made our stay at Bonsella so special was the staff. All the people working at the hotel, and especially the young and friendly receptionists, were among the kindest people we met during our stay in Vietnam. They even gifted me a cake for my birthday! For sure, one of the best hotels in the Hanoi city centre!

Very close to Hoan Kiem lake, cleanliness, breakfast room with view, friendly/dedicated staff. Duong helped us booked all the transportations to Sapa, Cat Ba, and Ninh Binh, made our trip much easier to manage . Since the property is by the lake and old quarter, we were able to retrieve into our AC room to recharge before venture out again in hot temperatures.

Triple room is little small for us 3 adults, not hotel fault.

The staff could not do enough, they were so kind and helpful. They always gave us a friendly welcome whenever entering the hotel and wished us a good trip when we left. They even bought us a cake as it was one of our birthdays! Location was perfect and breakfast was delicious, all for a fantastic price. You MUST stay here when travelling in Hanoi!

Very good customer service and very friendly staff. Most of the staff can speak English. Especially Anna and 1 more front desk supervisor i belive, they can speak good English!. Hotel location is good too. Walking distance to pho 10 and banh mi 25.

The roof top view is awesome. Too bad the bar is closed for now! I will definitely spend my evening there with an ice cool beer and enjoy the sunset view if they are open for customers!

Services and staff were exceptional! My room was super spacious, clean and strong shower which in my experience is hard to find in Hanoi. Everyone in the hotel is super friendly, laundry service is great and at very reasonable price. Location is awesome, only a few mins walking to Hoan Kiem Lake. Highly recommended and I will definitely come back next time I'm in Hanoi. Thanks Bonsella for an awesome stay!
