Hanoi Emerald Waters Hotel & Spa

The location and the staff are superb. Didn't have any treatments but they're supposedly very affordable. Breakfast was OK, there's something for everyone. The staff even helped me afterwards in receiving a few online orders on my behalf.

Breakfast is on the 2nd floor and the noise from the kitchen and chairs being moved around can be heard in the (connecting) room just above the space on the 3rd floor. We requested a change of rooms and were lucky to get transferred to the 5th floor where the noise was no longer audible. So, avoid the connecting room on the 3rd floor for peace of mind (unless you're an early bird and like waking up at 6:00AM)

The location of the hotel is superb - just a stone's throw from the Hoan Kiem lake and from there on, all around the fun maze of streets that is Hanoi's Old Quarter........though there is bustling activity during the day, the place really comes alive in the evening with a riot of colors provided by the ubiquitous Vietnamese silk lanterns hanging all around.......the hotel in nestled between other buildings on one of these bustling streets and is reasonably well kept.......the charm of the establishment, however, is not just the property but the people manning it......Zoey, Kim, Anna, and Dave at the front desk are extremely warm, cordial, and courteous making their guests feel really welcome.......the breakfast spread has good variety and is sumptuous, the entire team looking after the guests at breakfast is really attentive, the rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable......we stayed for 3 nights and my kids had a wonderful time at the property.......

We stayed in a family room with a city view. Some of the corridors leading up to the room and some of the furniture within the room would do well with some attention to maintenance........apart from this small observation, there was hardly anything else to complain about!

Our group of three had a delightful experience at Hanoi Emerald Waters Hotel & Spa. From the initial booking process to our actual stay, the staff was incredibly helpful. Ms. Zoey at the travel desk assisted us in arranging an overnight cruise to Ha Long Bay before our arrival in Vietnam, which was truly fantastic. Ms. Bonnie and the rest of the team were exceptionally friendly and provided valuable local recommendations for the best places to eat and things to see around Hanoi. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from the city center. Our room was both clean and spacious, and we thoroughly enjoyed the delightful breakfast. We also took advantage of the hotel's spa services, which were excellent. Overall, our stay at the hotel was thoroughly enjoyable.

This is my second time to stay at Hanoi Emerald Waters and Spa. As always, I am impressed with the way the staff has taken care of me and friends. Special mention to Ms. Zoey, who has been very friendly, accommodating to all my inquiries, and has taken care of all our needs. She also made sure to give us proper instructions, specially re our safety and security (passport, money, etc). Since we had an early flight back to the Philippines, Zoey and team also made sure to pack us some light breakfast to bring to the airport. The rooms are also clean and had all the amenities we needed. When we had some requests, the staff are very quick to respond. Thank you to Zoey and team Hanoi Emerald Waters Hotel and Spa! :)

The counter and reception staff were very thoughtful, helping us with our luggage despite being busy. The service was exceptionally attentive! On the day of check-in, it was raining heavily, so we decided to arrive at the hotel earlier than planned. The hotel staff generously allowed us to store our luggage in the room and even lent us umbrellas. Since it was Thursday, the hotel felt quite peaceful, but later we discovered that there were many guests staying, making it a very high-quality experience! The breakfast was truly meticulous and delicious, unforgettable~ Even until check-out, the counter staff knew we were Taiwanese travelers and spoke to us in Chinese, which was very friendly. I will definitely come back to stay here next time!"

Awesome location, near the bus drop off from Sapa and the receptionists were all super kind and helpful. Breakfast was great! My dad forgot his glasses and we were already halfway on the road and they sent one of their staff on motorbike to catch up with us to deliver it. Really awesome service! Thankyou so much!

We were warmly greeted upon arrival. Zoey was very helpful and her smile was genuine. She was very efficient in handling our checkin and helped us booked a taxi for our checkout. The personal touch of Zoey really made a difference as we felt at home and well taken care of. The cleanliness of the hotel exceeded my expectation specially the cleaning staff in charge of the 5th floor. Our room was always tidy when we come back at night. A big thanks to the cleaning staff. The breakfast area was nice and cozy and food was great.

I can honestly find no fault in the hotel. The staff (special mention to Zoey again) was superb and the location is unbeatable. Overall a very good value for money.

The staff was incredibly helpful and delivered a high level of service, always holding doors, taking care of my luggage etc.. Communication about my arrival or organizing later check out was smooth. The hotel also took my laundry between two short stays so that when I checked in on my second stay (coming back from Ha Long Bay), my laundry was already waiting for me. The balcony suite I had was amazing and well worth the extra price compared to other rooms.

The connecting room is really interesting. Two separate rooms actually, one with king bed for us and one with twin singles for the kids. Both are linked by a common area that can be locked from inside, so as good as a 2 room accommodation :) The hotel is well located with many food options nearby and the lake is just a few junctions away, come down, turn left and walk all the way straight. The counter staff are also very helpful and friendly. Be sure to ask as much questions before you leave the hotel because few can speak English once you are out on the streets.

The hotel is located to many restaurants, cafes, beer street,… in the Old Quarter. Our Deluxe Double Room is clean and tidy with internal window. Breakfast is buffet with Vietnamese & international dish. I booked a Halong Bay 2 days 1 night tour and Ninh Binh day tour with them and that’s amazing, good price and best deal. Besides of that, after booked 2 days tour with them, they gave me a free one way airport transfer and 50% discount for our massages. I don’t know how many times I have to say thanks with their staff. They do very well their job, friendly, helpful.
