Silk Queen Grand Hotel

We were advised we would be given an upgrade to our rooms so were disappointed when we did not. We asked about it reception and were told we had been given deluxe rooms but our rooms were not deluxe as we saw the deluxe rooms the next day and ours were definitely not deluxe. The rooms were ok. We just expected more.

Were advised we would be upgraded to deluxe room and were not. When advised reception about this. They said they were deluxe but were clearly not as we saw the deluxe rooms the following day whilst being cleaned. The hotel was okay very near everything. We stayed 3 nights was a stopover after our flight ftom uk.

The nice and comfortable room.

The sky bar isn't open and it's Spa facilities. Also, the staff at the buffet area didn't refill some food.

My family stayed here for a very long time. We simply enjoyed walking around Hoan Kiem lake during weekends when they closed the road. The hotel is a minute away so the location is perfect! Everything we need and love to see are all walking distance. The hotel also has a pool and a small gym which is not something you can always have even in more epxpensive hotels in the area. We also enjoyed having our breakfast on the top floor overlooking the lake and the city. My and the entire staff were all so friendly and accommodating.

Location is perfect in the city center with entertainment district within 5 min walking distance. The breakfast was good but I would like to strongly suggest some continental or American options. Rooms are perfect size, clean and the bed/blanket/cushion and toileteries are clean and fresh. The views from the skybar are amazing

Need more breakfast options and especially vegetarian. Wifi is a bit sketchy and needs to be improved.

The room, the staff and the location are all fabulous. It is in the perfect spot in the old town, easy to walk and too many food options. The pool is small but really lovely and cold. The breakfast was great and the staff were so incredibly lovely and helpful. We would definitely stay again next time we are in Hanoi!

Staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, combination of Asian and continental. Rooms were tidy with aircon. Pool on 11 floor, mind the wet tiles can be quite slippery. Close lake, about a block and a half away.

Couldn't really fault the hotel.

Breakfast buffet, is very good - plenty to choose from. Straight out the door into the chaos that makes Hanoi so endearing. Hoan Kien a five minute walk. The room I booked online was too small, but front desk were accommodating and we upgraded to a junior suite. Bit of haggling was required.

The pool could have been cleaner, but it was very hot and I don't know how many people had used it that day.

allowed early check in when we arrived early from a sleeper bus from Sapa and had no where to stay. good location. walking distance to stores, restaurants, street food, art, and currency exchange. Also allowed baggage storage while did a two day Ha Long Bay Cruise.

likely due to Covid the pool was not heated, upstairs restaurant was not in use. also the gym is not well equipped.

The hotel managment has changed since I visit 3 yers ago. The breakfast was bad - and the outdor pool was not there. Instead under a roof and more like a warehouse -the warer was dirty. I found another hotel later with everything this hitel had in past. However the staff ate great!

The room was very beautiful and we had a nice view from the rooftop bar. The breakfast was also very good. Absolutley recommended hotel in hanoi old town.

The equipment in the fitness studio does not really work good. Maybe they have to change it. Better come early to the breakfast.
