Crowne Plaza Annapolis, an IHG Hotel

Location is awesome!! For the most part the hotel was clean, comfortable, and peaceful. Hotel employees were friendly and helpful.

One of the pillowcases on our bed looked and smelled like it had not been replaced. Shower had a slow drain which caused the tub to slowly fill up while showering. Toilet paper holder was not securely attached to the wall. Room phone would not connect to front desk so I had to visit the front desk on a few occasions to ask for clean towels and toilet paper (I did request housekeeping at check in).

The location was great we were there for the fourth. Hotel was clean. The food at the restaurant wasn't bad. The room.was a nice size and the bathroom was clean.

They were very short staffed when we got there. I called and asked if they had a microwave and fridge in the room and they said yes and when we got there, we were told we had to request a microwave (Which they gave us the next day, ) they only had ice in one large container for all to retrieve from(not good) and then they ended up putting them in bags for us to retrieve. There were no ice machines elsewhere .

It is a beautiful facility. Check in was easy and quick. Everything looked extremely neat and clean. This is very close to a number of restaurants and bars (in addition to the one on site) It is convenient to downtown and the Parole Town Center.

I understand the reasoning for the refillable soap, shampoo and conditioner bottles in the bathroom to cut down on plastic and that is a great idea, but I just don't see how it can be sanitary at all....especially the soap in the shower. The bed was a little softer than I like, but it was OK.

Our suite was huge. It was well appointed. I noticed when we walked into the lobby how dark the colours were but I liked the few orange accents. I was disappointed to see the same dark colors in our suite. I searched for a place that gave me a place to sit & apply my make up. Although I brought my own lighted make up mirror it was not enough. One of the lamps had a broken knob that prevented us from turning on the lamp & I’m sure due to this problem. The lamp was unplugged from the outlet. It was a very spacious & lovely suite but the dark colors and lack of lighting was a real downer for me! When we got ready for bed, we noticed the pillowcase had what appeared to be dried blood on it. Not good! As we left the next morning my husband reported the broken lamp knob ‘ the soiled pillowcase. The desk attendant thanked us for reporting it but did not appear to take us seriously. Lovely hotel but could be better with some lighting tweaks & attention to details ( soiled pillowcase) turn off as far as cleanliness! Thank you.

Lighting in our room was VERY POOR. Not a fan of dark walls thru out our suite. Lobby could get by with those colors but in my room I prefer light & bright!

The decor was beautiful, the staff helped us check in quickly so we could settle into our room. Bed and pillows were comfortable The entire hotel was quiet, clean and smelled good. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Very lovely toiletries are provided. The location was within walking distance of several dining options.

Very Clean Room, which is our most important factor. Only stayed one night and we had no problems with the staff, facilities or the room. Everything worked.

Lighting was too subdued in the floors. Common area should be lit a bit more for all the packages and luggage people carry to and from the rooms.

I asked for an early check-in due to our stay being for husband’s surgery. They replied immediately saying, if at all possible, my request would be honored. It was..all he had to do was walk to the room & fall into bed. I so appreciate the early check-in & their kindness during our stay. Thank you!

friendly staff, excellent house keeping, nicely updated,pool and workout areas . convenient area.

our room faced route 50 which is a 6 lane hwy. so, all night you heard 18 wheelers and racing cars!! super loud!! out of four nights not one good night sleep. No fresh brewed coffee, no complimentary breakfast, not even a a piece of fruit or muffin.

It's always a great stay here. The staff go out of their way to be helpful and supportive, the room is comfortable and clean, and you can walk or taxi anywhere you need to go here. Proximity to the mall is a plus!

Room was very clean and much bigger than expected. The staff was very friendly and the amenities were great. Would definitely stay here again.

A little further from downtown Annapolis than I would have liked. But a short drive to see the sights. Other than that, a great stay.
