Best Western Plus Siesta Key Gateway

We stayed in the sea shell suite. Room was great, although there very little space after you pull out the sofa bed. When we arrived, there was no bedding for the pull out sofa, we called downstairs and it was brought up by quickly. The breakfast was a little chaotic, one day they were out of almost everything. There is no clear indicator of where people should get in line so it was just rather hectic. The pool, hot tub, pool bar was wonderful. Location was great, we had a really enjoyable stay. Would definitely book the suite again!

The breakfast setup was confusing, without an established line, and there was a morning there were no plates, OJ, Coffee, or pancake batter. These things happen but it did make it slightly less enjoyable

The location was perfect. Minutes away from all the beaches. Minutes away from all the shopping in Siesta Key Village. We had the suite with the 2 rooms and we loved it. Our teenage daughter had her own space and both the rooms had a bathroom/shower which I've never seen before. Staff was friendly and helpful. We will be coming back to this spot everytime we come to Siesta Key.

I would of liked to see more variety for the free breakfast but thats not really a complaint just an observation. I'm picky with food and I like variety.

The staff were very pleasant. The breakfast was a nice surprise...very varied with nice biscuits & gravy! The bed (King), was very comfortable and the pillows really perfect. The swimming pool bar was very relaxed and pleasant. Parking was great...we were right outside the door. I have very few negatives.

The swimming pool looked hazy...I guess it needed more chlorine. As I have dialysis holes in my arm, I wasn't going to risk getting a germ from the water. Our sink was badly blocked. Reception sent someone up immediately but the next morning, it was starting to slow down again. The plug itself was broken.

Very convenient to everywhere we needed to go for a wedding.

Was mislead about a free shuttle service. The big factor of booking this hotel was to use a shuttle service to get us back and forth from the hotel to the airport. When we arrived we learned this was not the case and had to load lift application on to our phones to provide our travel to and from the airport. There is a shuttle you can call and take to spots within a small area. However this shuttle service is not provided by the hotel, it’s an independent small company and is based on the tips you provide to them. There is not a chart that tells you what the tip should be. So, you feel obligated to make a higher tip amount to them since this is not a service the hotel provides. Gas is way too expensive and everyone needs to earn money to live.

The staff here was fantastic. Prime location to the beaches and Johnny's free rides to the beach and village was a great plus. The hotel was clean for the most part and so was the pool/hot tub.

The rooms were still a little dated and so we're some of the facilities.

After looking over so many hotels and resorts, Best Western Plus Siesta Key Gateway had everything you need for a good trip. Fitness Center, Free good breakfast, clean beds and rooms, bath tub and shower, 24/7 front desk for late check ins, laundry, free coffee/ tea 24/7, a shuttle to Siesta Beach (which hooks you up to the free Siesta Key Trolly that takes you around the village, beautiful lush palm trees around property, beautiful sparkling pool and hot tub, literally right next to a dream come true health food store with freshly squeezed wheatgrass juice. The A/C in our room was great and we enjoyed using the constant fan to sleep well.

Breakfast was good with enough of a variety. I like oat meal and yours was very good. Toasted bagel with cream cheese oh yes Pool area was clean and so was lobby. Front desk staff were So friendly and answered many questions.

Only thing I didn’t like was no grab bars getting in/out tub. I’m in my 70 s and have limited mobility climbing over a tub. But by using the Towel bar holder I was ok.

Very friendly, professional, courteous staff. Daily cleaning was superb. Also grateful for cleaning staff to leave my gold necklace laying on the nightstand. I was ever so grateful and complimented Sarah at the front desk who assured me many others left items and returned to find them available. Also, Sarah made rummy chocolate chip cookies at night when she had time and popcorn was available!

Had to use some muscle to operate tub faucet and toilet was a bit "shakey"

Helpful friendly staff; cleanliness, pool, hot tub, the gym (although extremely small), the parking, the availability of computers; room on 4th floor; location; availability of towels, the free shuttle; room availabilty

The breakfast not high quality--too much carbs--the yogurt machine didn't work--no fresh fruit except for banana--not a healthy breakfast; the gym is so small, it's like a closet; the loud music on certain days

Like the fact that we were so close to different eateries, clothing stores, cvs, walgreens. Free shuttle to from the beach or village.free trolley rides along the sieta key strip. Staff were nice and approachable. The bed was nice and comfortable. Housekeeping came daily to clean. The guest were friendly. hot breakfast was ok

I didnt like the fact the hotel didnt take cash for nothing. Credit card was used for everything including at the bar. No food was served at the bar in the hotel.
