We absolutely loved our stay! From the moment we checked in we received exceptional customer service. Young girl on reception was very welcoming, girl who served our dinner was very friendly, was happy with few alterations we made, nothing was too much trouble. Dinner was amazing, really tasty as well as our breakfast! Our room was spacious. Comfortable bed, massive shower with perfect pressure, very clean bathroom and bed. We would definitely like to return!

Our only critic would be that radio in the room didn’t work and was very dusty, lights above bed didn’t work, decorative pillow on the bed hasn’t been washed in a long time, there’s a small stain on the head board which is obvious. Also, carpet wasn’t hoovered thoroughly. We know that there was a wedding the night before and housekeeping were still cleaning bedrooms at 5pm so we understand that it might had an affect. Bathroom and bed were very clean which is our priority so we didn’t mind those few things. Our bedroom was above the restaurant and our window was next to an outdoor fan which was loud and we woke up at 7am as we could hear hoover downstairs, but we understand that is due to the layout of the building and how historic it is.

The young staff Saturday &Sunday went about their duties with a smile and enthusiasm scored a 10 with us Unfortunately

Unfortunately the older staff on Monday am let their young colleagues down as we waited for an hour for breakfast I then when I could find a staff member why the delay They told me they were waiting for the eggs to be delivered!! When the breakfast did arrive my wife's 'dippy' eggs were hard boiled and my poached eggs were solid also the rest of my breakfast had been kept warm. As we had a ferry to catch we eat want we could and left Just simple communication and they would have had 10 for staff

The room was a great size and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable and quite quiet considering it’s above a pub. Everything seemed to be very high quality from the soaps in the bathroom to the tea & coffee in the room to the breakfast in the morning. The location was great, right on the high street with easy free parking behind. For the price we paid it exceeded expectations.

A few small details would make a big difference. The bathroom had some mould stains by the bin and the handle on the shower was slightly broken. There were plug sockets on both sides of the bed but only one side was working. We were told the wrong times for breakfast, and service at breakfast was a little slow and inattentive.

The Bel is a lovely old building in Odiham High Street, our room was spacious and comfortable. We stayed for two nights in a room at the end of a corridor with some very low beams, not a problem for us fortunately! The bed, bedding and bathroom facilities were excellent and produced two excellent nights sleep. My wife especially liked the bathroom products and fluffy towels and I liked the coffee bag selections and complimentary Slow gin!! The full English breakfast arrived piping hot, the sausages, bacon and black pudding being especially tasty, served by the bubbly restaurant manager. An excellent, good value stay, we will definateley stay again.

The breakfast was delicious. So much choice, cooked to perfection and plentiful. And, cloth napkins! Bedroom was very comfortable and clean and I loved being in my own "area" The washing products were delightful And the sloe gin was an added bonus Staff were amazing, helpful, on top of everything and nothing was too much trouble Easy parking too. Would definitely stay again. Odiham is a very pretty and historical area which was interesting to walk around.

Maybe some tissues in the bedroom? More hangers, there was only one in my room!

Loved the quirkiness of this hotel - my room was obviously a family room as there was an additional bunkbed room further along towards the bathroom so would definitely consider if coming back with family! loved the fact that the refreshments supplied were so much nicer than what you normally get - coffee bags, teapig teabags, lovely chocolates!

It's an old building so on one of the coldest nights it was expected that it wouldn't be totally insulated - I put some spare towels along the bottom of the windows and I also got one of the single quilts to put over my quilt, as the main radiator didn't appear to be working, but I can't say the room was freezing otherwise I would have contacted someone - it just wasn't that warm, but I made it work and I definitely slept well on a very comfortable bed.

The spacious room. Comfy bed. Quality tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Dog friendly. Ironing board, radio, TV and good hair dryer.

Very snug bathroom with standard in Bath shower. Points on tap kept falling off. Bedside lights unplugged, had to pull bed out to plug in. No switch for the light above coffee making facilities, so the whole room has to light up. Entrance to hotel bar and restaurant for guests at the front only, nit great in a down pour. Coffee machine at breakfast broken.

Really gorgeous little place in the quaint village of Odiham, so plenty of walking opportunities if that's your thing. The room was comfortable and pretty, and breakfast was delicious - all served in a beautifully decorated restaurant by friendly staff.

Goes with the territory I guess, but the rooms are along a back walkway so they were pretty noisy when pub-goers or other guests walked past. Not a major issue and it doesn't last all night, but remember to pack some ear plugs if you plan on getting an early night.

Location perfect, just off M3 and i the village centre. Cosy bar area. Friendly staff. Dinner was really good! Quirky rooms - you had to bend down to get under beam into shower! Good selection of wine and drinks.

Breakfast was just cooked options, i think all with egg? would have been nice o have cereal or fruit option. The window catch in our room didn't lock and opened onto a flat roof, so didn't feel 100% secure.

Location. Staff were all great. Lovely large room, had to ask to have a better room but this was dealt with brilliantly. Food great, plenty of choice, good portions. Most requests dealt immediately with a smile. Fun weekend.

Some areas not really attended to. Outside was a mess. Old wet cigarettes left in ashtrays outside for days. Outside guest bedrooms in stables never swept, car park a mess. Most bedroom areas pristine, a few other bits grubby, especially in bathrooms.
