Outrigger Koh Samui Beach Resort - SHA Extra Plus

My wife and I had a great stay at Outrigger and would highly recommend the hotel. The beautiful colonial style resort is ideally located for the best possible stay on Koh Samui. Everything we experienced was of a very high standard. Our quiet, spacious room was extremely comfortable and the extensive breakfast selection included both Thai and American dishes. There are excellent pools with a bar and restaurant, set beside a stunning palm fringed beach. The very friendly and helpful staff are what really make this hotel special. Without exception everyone goes out of their way to ensure you have the best possible stay. Bernard the Manager introduced himself to us in the bar and it’s clear he works hard to ensure everyone offers guests the highest possible standard of service. At reception Norbert was very helpful and in the restaurants Noot, Kawee and Tong provided outstanding service. Our room was kept spotlessly clean and impeccably tidy every day by housekeeping. This hotel has everything you want for an enjoyable stay, however for those wanting to venture out, traditional Thai and contemporary cafes/restaurants are within easy walking distance.

Wide comfortable luxury designed rooms, vip lounge with tasteful drinks and brunches (highly recommended), friendly staff, very good kids room with responsive staff, nice infinity pool at the beach, good car parking, very good gym, good (but not the best) breakfast.

No sea at all at this Lamai beach side - water is muddy, dirty shallow, corals, not possible to swim near the hotel. Recommend to the staff to mount floating pontoon to allow hotel guests to swim in the clean sea water, which is 50 meters far from the coastline.

Very friendly and helpful staff and a great colonial style hotel.

The road through the middle of the hotel makes it noisy and difficult to cross from one side of the resort to the other

Nice hotel with good staff who allow us to check in early. Well located near lamay beach. Breakfast is nice.

Things to know, is that a noisy road with a lot of cars need to be acrossed to reach the pool and the sea.

The property itself is fantastic the room we had is perhaps the nicest room I’ve ever stayed in and I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels!

I booked a balcony room and it turned out not to really be a balcony that you could sit out on and have a drink! I had three windows that you could open the doors up onto a small balcony, but you couldn’t put a chair out or a table out there !

Breakfast was amazing plenty of choice. Pool was lovely. Beach not so good.

I never realised that you had to cross a very busy road to gain access to the Hotel Restaurant, Bar and Beach. The split was a surprise.

A beautiful resort..lovly bedrooms so clean and very good quality bed linen and towels...a very good housekeeping team...friendly helpful staff ...the hotel is situated in.a quiet night time area.....

The rooms not very soundproof So you need good neighbours...and breakfast was more thai than European...(english). You had to cross a busy road to.get to the beach although there was always a patrol guy to help stop the traffic..

Food - thai dishes in pool zone. I don’t know how, but not tasty at all. Location is far from all activities. Other than that it is cool place to stay.

Beach was beautiful would benefit from staff cleaning it in morning as I walk for 2hrs picking up rubbish on beach and 3 other family's olso Hotel was OK security on road are excellent and the staff in hotel . I would return

It could benefit with some furniture on the balcony Also The paint was coming off on my hands when leaning on balcony Quite annoying after coming out the shower . The bed was quite squeaky Apart from that sleep was good .
