Samui Jasmine Resort - SHA Plus

Good facilities, good food, polite and helpful staff, central to everything and everything there that we required for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. After comparing Samui Jasmine Resort to other resorts on Lamai Beach, we feel that Samui Jasmine Resort was amongst the best resorts and definitely had the best section of beach in front of it.

The lighting in the bedroom wasn't the best, but it certainly didn't affect our stay.

A very warm welcome from the fantastic staff at the Jasmine Resort made my 5 day stay amazing. A big thank you to Miss Oi on reception, particularly, and the restaurant staff also. They have a wonderful breakfast area next to the pool or their own private beach section, with deck chairs, lounges, beach chairs, umbrellas and a night time setup for resort guests. Bar area going all day with every drink or mocktail you could imagine. I stayed in a garden view room in the main building, there are also little villas throughout the grounds if that's your thing too. All rooms very well appointed with everything you need. Huge bathtub, aircon, waterfall shower head in my room. A short 1 minute walk to the rest of Lamai Beach and town up hill or downhill. You can rent scooters from reception also. I will stay here again on my next visit, the resort and especially the staff are amazing. Postcard perfect as the photos show. Thank you Jasmine Resort.

Nothing to not like

The garden was lovely, the room was excellent, very well-equipped, incl. lotion and body scrub. Staff were friendly and competent. The location's great - so many restaurants/shops/etc. can be easily reached by foot. The views - from the breakfast room and pool, as well as from our room - were lovely. The lobby always smelled nice - and there was complimentary fruit. Great breakfast!

The pool could've been a bit cleaner and there was sometimes (naturally occurring) tar in the sand at the beach. The place next door plays music all day, so it's rarely quiet at the beach.

Location is amazing and the hotel is good , clean and modern . The only minus I can mention that they don’t clean their beach . On the right side between this hotel and neighbours is a rubbish dump . Very unpleasant to see next to such a good hotel . They could take care of the boarder territory .

Very well located in the heart of Lamai with the beach on one side and the Main Street with shops, bars and restaurants on the other side. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. It was a cozy place with the pool, bar , restaurant, massage area close to the beach…. Decent breakfast and quality of food.

The room ( we stayed at one of the deluxe cottages) could benefit with better lighting especially reading lights. The TV had only Thai channels. Some international channels would be useful..

Large open-plan room with great sea view, and luxurious bathroom with bath and fantastic shower, plus lots of lovely complimentary toiletries including salt body scrub. Thoughtful touches like a clothes dryer on the balcony, robes and slippers and beach bags in the wardrobe. Wide selection for breakfast buffet incl continental and traditional thai options, lots of fresh fruit and omelette station. Each morning we loved enjoying eating by the pool looking at the sea. Friendly and helpful staff with 24h reception which had a basket of complimentary fresh fruit each day. Lovely infinity pool and sun loungers right on the beach.

The breakfast mini pastries were stale and they used what we call 'plastic cheese' (like burger slices) in the omelette - other places we stayed at used fresh cheese which was much nicer. Be aware of taking any food or drink outside of the restaurant area - one day after eating breakfast there, we tried to take a muffin each with us (to eat on the way to our day trip) but were told it wasn't allowed, we saw the same thing happening with other guests.

Hotel is in very good location, walking distance to shops, restaurants. nice quiet area, clean and well maintained. breakfast is with lots of options and food is delicious, restaurant is cheap and pad thai is the best I tried on samui. staff is attentive. recommend to stay +++++

Probably the most beautiful hotel we've ever stayed at. The lush gardens, the lovely swimming pool overlooking the beach, the food in the restaurant were all perfect. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect, the section of beach in front of the hotel seems cleaner and less crowded than further along. It's a short 2 minute walk from all of the bars and restaurants but the hotel itself is very quiet and tranquil. Our room was spacious, comfortable and perfectly equipped with everything we needed. If we come back to Koh Samui, we will definitely be staying here again.

Reception very friendly an efficient. Room spacious and clean with all amenities, no disturbing sounds. Airco well-functioning. Furniture OK. Good breakfast with fresh fruit etc... Swimming pool very clean. Many restaurants in the neighborhood. Best en freshest seafood, in our opinion, at the night market, 5 minutes by foot. Beach OK, not too much populated.

The only minor point is not due to the resort itself, but rather to the attitude of some customer, mainly beach goers, who have the bad habit of occupying all beach loungers for the whole day by lying their towels and to the loud beat music on the beach by a neighboring bar/hostel.

This hotel is amazing. Great location right on the beach yet only a few meters from the main street with lots of restaurants, bars and shops. Lots of well-kept greenery makes you feel like you are in a small botanical garden. The extremely friendly staff look after you in every way, including at the excellent breakfast or even at the beach bar. The hotel is reasonably sized and there is a quiet intimate atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and if we return to Koh Samui, definitely to this hotel.
