Sheraton Samui Resort

They pick you up From the room by golfcar, because the hotel is quite big, but still to Walk From the beachview rooms to the reception its a 4 Minute walk. The hotel is very Green with some waterfalls on the way to the reception. The Beach is really nice with chrystal clear water and Good for swimming. The breakfast was the best we had in 7 weeks southeastasia. They have enough sunchairs for everybody directly on the beach. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. The Food and the Drinks in the hotel are overprized but its a 5 Star Hotel. Outside you can find some Restaurants, but Unfortunately More Western than thai Food. The rooms were very nice, much space, balcony with ociean view was really nice, very clean and stylish. We would come back!

The rooms are immaculate. I had a deluxe room which included a sofa area. Really nice. The beach itself is lovely and the surrounding hotel area is beautifully landscaped with two pool areas. The staff are beyond helpful and work hard to make sure you enjoy your stay. Minimal to zero bugs and critters in the room for Thailand which I appreciated! They also spray stuff once a day on the grounds to kill mosquitoes which was really helpful. There's a helpful 7/11 just opposite the hotel as well as a few restaurants, chemists and cheaper massage parlours. The breakfast is amazing as was the WiFi. Lots of free activities like morning Thai chi, kayaking, beach football, art, cooking classes and activities for kids.

The rest of the food menu wasn't to the standard I thought it would be. Not the worst but expected it to be out of this world for the Sheraton. Minibar was empty. If you are mobility challenged this isn't the place for you as it's on a hill and getting from A to B requires you to be able to manage inclines and lots of stairs (they do have carts to help with luggage etc ..) The location is beautiful and quiet but you need a moped or taxi to get anywhere else so bear this in mind when deciding what kind of holiday you want. Dont recommend it for solo travellers - hard to make friends and not feel like a paraiah when surrounded by couples and families. No other solo travellers or even single people in groups. Wives weren't friendly as a result!

Easy access to the Beach. Cleanliness. Staff is friendly and helpful. Food is great. We booked for all inclusive package. Many activities offers and excellent food included.

The biggest advantage of this hotel is the staff in Long Talay. Chalita and Rungnapha took great care about us and made sure that we had everything that we needed, even vegetarian card and mosquito repelent in the evening.

The all inclusive is fake and it should be called full board instead. This is the first time ever when we had this kind of a situation. During the check in process we were informed that we have all three meals included but if we want to drink anything in between, for example during the pool time, we can order it but it will be extra paid. The hotel is located on the hill, so you should know that you will have to take a walk down the stairs to get to the beach. Unfortunately on your way back, you will have to clim those stairs. If you don't want to do it, you can call the reception and ask for the ride on the small electric car, but it will take some time.

Beautiful resort set among quiet grounds and surroundings - it feels disconnected and private. The room was huge, very clean, and nicely decorated with a balcony for sitting out. The sea view and being able to hear the waves made for a peaceful night's sleep and sunrise was spectacular every morning. Staff went out of their way to accommodate and help and even allowed a late checkout due to our flight time. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the restaurant by the beach had a good choice of food and drinks. Pool area had plenty of sun loungers and it was nice to sit out and stare at the sea.

You cannot swim at the beach at all since the waves are too dangerous. The beach right next to the resort is a bit dirty and unkept, but the one outside the hotel directly is nice to look at.

A bit far from central Chaweng but easy enough to get to with taxis easy enough to get. About 10-15 minutes drive

The staff were incredible, always going above and beyond to make your stay one to remember. The breakfast was 10/10, such a large variety and definitely something for everyone. The resort was amazing, could not fault it at all. Location is in the quieter area of Samui, perfect for couples and families but only a 10/15 minute taxi ride to main part of Chewang Beach which we did often. It was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle. This trip was one for the books and we will without a doubt be back to stay at the Sheraton Samui!!
