Parkwood Boutique Hotel

The location is well centered and it is quick to travel to the city's / town's attractions, like malls, zoo etc. The venue itself, though it is located inside of a busy area, is quite and peaceful. Gardens, pools and décor is so well maintained and the security is great and the staff is really helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is amazing. The food was good and the bed comfortable.

Very little was out of place. The bathroom dimming lights were slightly difficult to operate and the aircon did not work, most likely due to load shedding and didn't really affect our stay at all. Other than that, everything was great.

It is in a safe area, close to Rosebank Mall. It has 24/7 security services. One is able to enjoy a jog in and around the area. It has enough parking space. It has 2 swimming pools that are well managed. It offers a lot of therapeutic options. It has indoor and outdoor showers. It has a Spa Treatment. It also has a Library section with lots of books. It has a lot of benches for fresh air. It also has an Honesty Bar.

Although there is a generator, on the executive rooms, the electricity would often trip after load shedding.

Ideal location, possible to venture out by foot to restaurants, shopping, and spa. Super friendly and helpful staff with a personal touch, making the stay comfortable and memorable. It was very nice to chill on the terrace with a book and tea. I also liked the beverages area where I could make myself tea or coffee or get a cold drink.

The breakfast options were quite limited. Admittedly, it would have been relatively easy to get breakfast outside in a coffee shop, but we chose not to and stayed in the comfort of the hotel.

Breakfast was okay, although choice was limited. Very homely and relaxing place to be, quiet to the point we were surprised to see other people there. Really liked the separate courtyard and outdoor shower to our room. Sarah very kindly gave us an upgrade before our arrival which was a lovely surprise. Thank you for a lovely stay I was sad to leave!

More variety for hot breakfast.

The staff and the comfort of the hotel as well as the gardens and security were very good.

My only issue was with the breakfast which was rather miserable. The eggs shortage due to avian flu was understandable but to run out of much of the rest that should have been available was very disappointing. The good coffees did somewhat make up for it but the standard was way below expectations and the cost of the extra 2 breakfasts was out of line for what was served.

Every thing was very well taken care of. It would be great to upgrade the suite towels, bath robe and slippers.

This is a fine luxury boutique hotel with exceptional bedrooms, very well appointed, with all amenities one could imagine. The property is set in magnificent gardens with deep shaded patios, and several swimming & plunge pools for summer travellers. Extremely helpful staff and although we did not stay for dinner or breakfast, the menu looked tempting and great value.

it was beautiful! The grounds have several relaxing seating areas around the gardens. The location was safe and convenient to restaurants and shopping. The staff was very responsive and welcoming. in short, we wish we could have stayed longer

Very nice boutique hotel that looks like a guest house. Fair value for money and professional staff

Little downside is that the decoration of the room itself is not harmonious and lacks window and door isolation meaning cold temperatures (winter time) and if there is noisy guests, they wake you up during the night.

The room was excellent. Nice and big, very clean, comfortable spacious bed, lovely breakfast. Evening meals were excellent. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Jean-Pierre, and Sarah (the owner). I would love to return. I would thoroughly recommend it.
