Not enough seats at the lobby. Guests have to find somewhere around to stand. It's just a weird atmosphere. Should definitely put more chairs at lobby area. Breakfast time mentioned is until 10AM but seemed like staffs stop adding foods 30 mins earlier. About 9:30 there was no more rice and Nutto, the Japanese food station was totally empty. I asked staff for rice but they did not bring. Later I saw another guest checked Japanese station for rice too and the food still not added ,then I heard she complained heavily about it. Later on staff brought some rice but still not Nutto, just the rice. I went for breakfast three times during my stay, agreed that the foods finish too soon, 30 mins before 10AM and almost everything's gone and looks cold. Hope you can improve.

The super service! Love Filipino hospitality married to Thai class. I just feel that the rooms need upgrading. The beds and bathrooms are super clean, continue this. But please refurbish your ceilings and carpets, as the effect of non use during pandemic starts to show (mold and wear and tear). Yet I am so grateful for the service crew at the 5th floor, so kind and efficient. Truly Pinoy heart with Thai politeness. Thank you for making Dusit Manila a home we can come back to!

The breakfast seemed to decline in quality? Whilst the service breakfast team were superb, I have to say the rice dishes are not so good this visit. I liked the Manong Taho...and the quality was sooo good!

At breakfast this morning, one of the staff members went above and beyond to help me and my son get what we wantted to eat, as gthe whole buffet experience was rather overwhelming and confusing for us. Partly because there was so much to choose from and partly due to our innate shyness.

I used this hotel 15 years ago, and not much has really changed. Upon checkin there was a sligght hiccup due to me not having a credit card, and only a debit card. They needed it for a security deposit of 6000 Peso ( approx £90) which I wasnt aware of before hand on the booking.com booking. While billed as a 5 star hotel, and certainly looking like one on the surface, the building IS getting old, and some of the fixtures and fittings are getting worn and tatty with paint chipping along skirting edges etc. The TV in my room also had pretty poor picture quality and two large bright spots on the screen ( some kind of burn in marks?) I didnt complain about them, as It was only being used for one night but it was a negative point.

The check-in DID NOT go through well. I requested for an early check-in a month before I arrived in the Philippines. It was not granted. As I have an appointment on the day of my check-in, I requested my elder sister who's traveling with me to just go ahead to the hotel at 3 PM (Philippine time) as I have an appointment to fulfill. Nonetheless, I went to Dusit Thani Hotel and "checked in" before lunch, and told the front desk that my sister will come at or after 3 PM to formally check in for both of us. My sister went to Dusit Thani at about 3 PM, and lo and behold, she was given a room NOT COMMENSURATE to what I paid. The room was so tiny, I could hardly get through the beds. No toiletries, and even a tiny toilet paper was hanging on the rack. It looked like the room was not cleaned, dirty bed sheets, no linens, maybe 1 towel, etc. I WAS COMPLETELY SHOCKED and TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED that as soon as I arrived in our room, and sat briefly on one of the beds, I told my sister that I have to go the front desk, and complain about the tiny, shoddy room given to us. Fortunately, the front desk understood my complaint/issues at hand, and she transferred us to a bigger room with all the amenities that I am used to getting when I book into hotels like Dusit Thani Hotel. But next time I travel to the Philippines or anywhere in this world, I have to think 2X or 3X before booking again at Dusit Thani Hotel.

Breakfast was excellent and the continental breakfast buffet is laid out nicely with helpful staff on site. My room was quiet and roomy so I was able to rest. It was a pleasant surprise to know that my hotel was walking distance to SM, Glorieta, and Greenbelt shopping centers. Overall, the staff here are friendly, polite, and very helpful. It's probably something that sets this hotel apart from others.

I need to get used to the shower stall in my bathroom. I was afraid I'd have water overflow towards the toilet area when taking a shower.

The ground level staff (from reception to security and bell boys) offers excellent customer service,- they’re second to none, very helpful, accommodating and very attentive. The rooms are well presented with good decor and very comfortable especially the beds. The on-site restaurants are great and the upgrade to Dusit Club is well worth it.

Operator (or whichever department is responsible) needs to be improved. I was on the 10th floor and left my room but left something and had to go back but my key didn’t worked. I called the operator from the hallway phone and informed them. I was told they’re sending someone immediately but I was waiting by the hallway for ages. In the end I had to look for housekeeping myself who were in the same floor and who finally opened my room. Operator or maintenance could have called them instead! For the size of hotel, the swimming pool is super tiny. Breakfast was good at the VIP lounge but could be better. I expected typical Filipino breakfast with pandesal, longaniza or tocino considering it’s in the Philippines instead they served normal bread & chicken inasal.

Room are so cleaned Breakfast Buffet are SUPER !!! I like "TAHOE" guy and all section are wonderful and plenty choices Location is easy for go anywhere Dinner Buffet absolutely Best Dessert Section are Blow my mind Molly FO staff, she so friendly Francis as F &B staff was awesome, Captain Zaldy was helpful during breakfast(felt like home), and Maria host staff, she is really good BENJARONG & UMU Restaurant was PERFECT Thank you all the team, see you next year

I LOVE EVERYTHING !!

Staff is absolutely amazing, friendly and very polite . Japanese restaurant is absolutely gorgeous , and they have excellent food and service .Very impressed!!!!

The hotel needs a few things to improve as it looks a bit tired inside, also for a five-star hotel it should have a at least a few drinks included in the mini bar,also didn't get coffee topped up every day,without us asking.

It took your guests at least one hour to check in. Labor is cheap in Philippines and you had 3 front desk staff checking in a long line. Guests were irritated and this is not excusable with many hotels with high vacancy and you have guests waiting in a long check in line to spend money at your hotel. Your hotel has been open long enough that this is inexcusable. I took a video and happy to send it to you. I went to the restaurant and asked for a manager to cancel my reservation as i refused to wait in such a line. I have 400 nights in a row at your affiliate hotel in Bangkok where i rent a suite and go to DT as it is affiliated. You are a corporate hotel which makes it even more accountable for better operating procedure.

Very comfortable beds, great food (dine in and room service) and staff were attentive and always happy to assist - shout out to Rex at the fruit station and the fresh and very authentic taho served each morning at The Pantry. Absolutely wonderful to wake up to each morning.

The security check at the front is jarring and not something I’ve ever experienced at a 5 star hotel. Also check in process at 2pm is sub par at best and needs to be addressed eg; having more counters/staff available during peak check in times. Also, there is minimal seating in the lobby which is a problem given the 45min+ wait times to check in. Would also like to see designated seating for pregnant/elderly/disabled.
