The pod very comfortable and dream like experience the hangout and eating area reminded me of when I first came to new Zealand as an international student I went down memory lane made me remember why I moved to New Zealand in the first place of all the hotels I've stayed at lylo makes it worthwhile

Signs stating what's were in the facility and what u can use and yeah a layout of what can be used and I enjoy it but I had to go out front desk to ask what was what just having to walk back and forth thanks for your time and patience

Short walking distance around 10 mins to airport , the Lylo Hostel is just right behind Count down supermarket & KFC , McDonald’s, Chinese , Middle East, cafeteria, Lonely Star restaurant, hair saloon all located at Spitfire Square which you may find bus stop towards city or back from city both bus statins are right in front of the Count Down Supermarket .

The capsule bed is with advance basic facilities provided such as mirror , air ventilator , touch light , digital clock , 2 USB ports , power point, holding pocket , clean lines bed sheet , curtain privacy & locked locker under capsule bed.

Great stay. 10 mins walk to the airport, clean and comfortable. Kitchen and hang out space was well equipt and we'll managed with plenty of fridges, microwaves and stove tops. Also lots of space to sit and work/relax including an outside space too. WiFi strong throughout the building. No people or party noise, occasions plane noise as would be expected at an airport Hotel.

One small thing was that we had to pay for luggage storage after check out. Cost was only $2 for an hour, but we also couldn't get to the lockers as our key card expired after check out time and there were no staff around. Luckily another guest let us in.

The bed is really comfortable! The location also perfect for catching an early morning flight as it is within walking distance from the CHCH airport. As we use the public transport, the hotel is also near the bus stop which only take 30 minutes from city center. The walking path from the hotel to the airport is also really clear so location-wise, it is perfect. The room is clean with modern bathroom and the common room is exceptionally big.

The room size is quite small and there is no chair or table but I guess it's enough for sleep. we also have to consider the check in time as early check-in can only be accommodated with extra fee.

The place is nice and clean. The private room is very small, but enough for a night. Very close to the airport, so it's very handy for early flights.

The staff was not very welcoming, the quick/easy check in system takes actually more time than a regular check in (the computers were not working quite well), and there was no hair dryer on my private room (I asked the staff and they said it should be there, I went back to my room and didn't find it, when I returned to the reception, there was nobody there to assist me... So, I had to leave without drying my hair).

Short 7 min walk from the airport though wouldn’t want to do it if it’s raining so maybe get a taxi if it is. Easy checkin and checkout. Good bathrooms and water pressure. Comfy beds and AC. Fast food restaurants 100m away but can also cook your own in large communal kitchen. Great communal area!

Rooms are very small but we were there 7 hrs to sleep so all good. You will have to climb over someone to get out of bed as beds are surrounded by 3 walls. Please put the Wifi code in the rooms!! such a simple thing to do, but no it’s on a small sign back at reception. So take note when you check in or it will require a trip back there. If the rooms are so tiny then please also put some hooks on the wall for coats and bags.

Less than 10-minute walk to airport, ideal if depart early or arrive late | good value, solid WiFi, hot shower, clean linens, functional kitchen, close to grocery store and multiple fast food outlets | helpful staff, comfortable common room and furniture | great alternative to overpriced airport hotels, thank you |

It's not perfect, but so much better than sleeping at airport terminal, wish that more airports had pod hotels | departed early in morning, disappointed to see that guests couldn't clean up their dinner dishes, embarrassing, and not fair to the staff |

Despite being close to the airport, it was very easy to get to the centre and even the beach. The bus stop was super close and within the same quadrant there were many fast food chains and a Countdown supermarket, which made the area an excellent location. The hostel was huge and super cool!

The bottom bed was very high. There could be a step to help you get on it. And also my locker wasn't working, it didn't open and I had to leave my backpacks out.Instead of a curtain, it could be a door made of more rigid material to close the pod, like on the Lylo Auckland.

The staff we so lovely and the facilities immaculate. By far the best hostel I have ever stayed in. The beds are really wide inside your cubby so there is space for your items if you want to keep them close. There is also a massive locker under the bed that fit my big suitcase: so convenient! Also I was really impressed with the living room/ kitchen area as it was gigantic with loads of comfy areas to relax as well as eat. As I had to catch a really early flight the enclosed beds were so perfect, as I could turn the light on behind the curtain without disturbing anyone. Brilliant stay!

I love the kitchen and recreation area. Big and bright and heaps of room for everyone. Lots of seating & a great indoor outdoor flow. The sleeping pod was so comfortable and private once the blind was pulled. Had a great sleep.

The latches on some of the shower doors were broken...an easy fix really. There was also a shortage of toilet paper...bit frustrating. The lockers under the pods were very complicated and after following the directions, I couldn't get mine to open. I think everyone else in the room had the same trouble as there was luggage everywhere.
