Tune Hotel - Waterfront Kuching

The room to comfy and cozy. A bit small but just nice for single traveller. It's a walking distance to Kuching main attraction location - the waterfront. There's a lot of activities suitable for family and individuals. It's just a 1-min boat right to the other side of waterfront to shop for Terubok Masin or Kek Lapis Sarawak. Close by to market and souvenir shops. Those who love walking by the river and enjoy the night view of bandar Kuching but prefer a budget stay, Tune Hotel Waterfront is the best choice.

-Location is excellent, right next to the waterfront. -Clean and comfy beds and pillows. -Hot and powerful shower. -Powerful fan and A/C.

-Noisy noisy neighbours! From 11pm to 3am they were knocking loudly on doors, talking loudly through doors, grouping in the corridor talking loudly. From 5am people were making a lot of noise for leaving. Not the hotel’s fault… some people are selfish and inconsiderate of others.

The location was excellent. I can walk to alot of places of interests and food too. The room is adequately clean enough for my comfort. I did not request for daily room cleaning. But I am able to get my mineral water from the counter everyday which is a plus point. Being Eco-friendly, I only request to change my towel once during my 6 nights stay. I am happy with that too.

To be more eco friendly maybe there should be water point like those in the airport at every level, near to the lift, Then you will eliminate plastic bottles. you only need to change the filter every three months if the volume is high. Just need to make sure its a good filtered water safe for drinking. If not a hot water dispenser will also do. Please think along these lines.

near to town and cat statue. walk down to reach the boat man just right in front of the T junction. very good location. 5 mins walk to carpenter street but u can also find out more bar and bistros at the other side of the properties.

first time I tried the room without window, I guess I will go for window one in the future.

The room overall is ok as it was tune at least having 50% confident on it as link to Airasia . I believe no matter how stiill under Quality Control haha ......but the places was great as you can walk and travel to a lot famous tourist destination . It also near to Kuching monument and Macdonalds . If want try local food beside the river also another types of choices to do so.

This round toilet clealiness a little weak as someone hair are there and lipstick mark in a basin . I think clealiness of a hotel shall account all this details .

Basic but very comfortable bed. Clean bathroom and towels and linen. Good Aircon. Being able to leave the room with Aircon on and return to coolness. Lovely. Great location close to waterfront and Chinatown. Good restaurants and tourist locations very close by.

Kettle but no cups or glasses,? Sound on tv terrible. Tv programmes awful. Room next to lift very noisy when lift works. Like thunder. Overall the whole place in need of a bit of tlc. But understandably COVID played havoc with everything.

Within the town area. Easy to mobilize around.

Toilet drains are a bit inefficient. The after-shower water took quite a long time to drain. I have to open the drainage cover to ensure the water is not stagnant.

The location is great, walking distance attractions. The management also provides a special key card to be left at power slot so your room are cool by the time you arrived back to your room.

There are room for improvements. The wall-mounted folding table has weird spot on it. It was probably heat marks, but I prefer my table to be free from any questionable marks on it. The other thing is I only get 2 bottled drinks for 2 nights stay. I was expecting 4 bottles of water.

Staff really helpful and friendly. I did checkin earlu with reasonable extra fee. To be honest, everytime i came to Kuching i stay here. Great location near to waterfront, restaurant and other attractions.

No iron board inside room. Need to go to iron area.

The photos of the room is just for illustration purpose. Anyway I'm satisfied with the condition of room and it is very budget for student like me hehe. The receptionist is nice, helpful and polite. The only thing I don't like is they don't provide slipper haha (it's ok,I bought my own slipper). And they only have mirror in the toilet. There is only 3 hangers in the room
