Panoramica dei Templi B&B0

This was by far the best place to stay of my recent 10-day/6 hotel/B&B trip to Italy. The host Filippo and his able assistant made us feel right at home; the room was large and the shower was large with plenty of hot water. The breakfast was excellent (pistachio croissants--who knew they would be so good?); the wifi was fast. Everything was perfect--and the adjacent trattoria serves the best shrimp/pasta imaginable. From my room, the sea and several temples were visible and there was a balcony from which to enjoy the view. Free parking was available across the street although of course not guaranteed. The B&B was well marked on the outside; you enter through the lobby of the building; take the elevator to the B&B; knock on the door to the right as you exit the elevator.

I can't think of a single thing I didn't like.

The two men at the front desk were extremely helpful especially when the road to the Valley of Temples was closed. He gave us excellent advice which added to our visit. They also helped with parking. Room was clean, breakfast was good, and location was the best. We loved the balcony. We sat out there and watched the temples lit up at night. Just beautiful.

The b&b is on the 2nd floor in a building. It is spotless and decorated well but it would be nice if the front of the building looked better.

We stayed in Panoramica for 2 nights and had a wonderful stay. Although from the outside the apartment building might look a bit old and rough, the inside is furnished very modernly. Our room had a balcony with a view on the valley of the temples and behind it the sea. You can enjoy a glass of wine from the fridge while looking at the lit up temples while the sun is setting! The valley entrance is within 10min walking distance. You can even see the valley from the shower!

We had a great time at Panoramica dei Templi! The staff was very professional and gave us great tips where to eat close by amd how to get around. The room was very nice and clean. Truly one of the better rooms that we had during our stay in Sicily. Location is great to explore the nearby Valley of the Temples, it was about a 12 min walk. From the train station it is a 15 min walk. We were leaving from Agrigento to Catania by bus, and we took a taxi to get to the bus station. It seems a short walk on the map, but the route seemed a bit uncomfortable to walk with suitcases. Just as a heads up for any travelers with the same plans. Will definitely recommend to any friends and family.

The room is pretty, clean and comfy, it is in an older building but totally renovated inside, so you go up on the second floor with an older elevator and enter a very modern space. The breakfast was nice and location is perfect to visit the Valley of the Temples because it is just a short walk away.

The bathroom is on the smaller side, we found a used soap in the shower, parking was free but public (behind the building) and you have to find a space.

Well there was a plumbing issue late at night so we didn’t have water, luckily for us it happened passed midnight and we were already showered and in bed, but for others who came back late and couldn’t showered that must be terrible. The staff did offer discount due to this issue so they did what they can.

The locations is perfect for a quick visit to see Valle dei Templi, it is truly a short walk from the property. The receptionist made a dinner booking for me, also walking distance, and explained the area and was very kind. The breakfast was simple but good quality and all that anyone needs. The views of the temples from my room were as lovely as advertised. I slept very well. The water pressure was very good in the shower.

The front door to the building (the B&B is in an apartment building) is terribly beat up with some of it smashed - it does not make a good first impression. I was relieved to see the B&B is well cared for. The lock on my room door was exceedingly difficult to lock and unlock - it isn't the worst thing in the world, but it was tedious to struggle with it each time. I'm glad I was alone as the shower is in the bedroom, not in a separate room. The bed was the most comfortable of the three I'd slept in thus far, and I guess it is an Italian thing but most pillows are super hard - a soft fluffy option would be great.

Despite we felt bit misleaded by the name of the place (our room was not looking at the famous temples), the accomodation is very clean and comfortable. Free parking at the opposite side of the street. Supermarket nearby, very good Trattoria at the ground floor of the building. Highly reccomended! If you are in Agrigento, must to see the Turkish stairs, 15 mins drive only;)!

THe breakfast room is too small if all guests would come in the rush hour. Also there was no window opened on the breakfast room despite covid sitation... We suggest to allow fresh air to the breakfast room.

Newly refurbished rooms, very nice design, modern and elegant. Beds are super comfortable. Location is perfect very close to the temples and close to the city center with all the restaurants. Filippo has been a fantastic host, accommodating an early checkin for us and sharing all his tips and best places to eat!! Great breakfast lots to eat and the best cappuccino and hot chocolate by Filippo. Highly recommend if you stop in Agrigento! We also got a great room with amazing view on the temples!

The B&B is super well located and if you are lucky you get a beautiful view of the Temples, which is stunning at night. Very clean and breakfast was very good.

No very flexible with timing both for arrival time (no later than 7;30) and bag collection (no during lunch) as the reception was not always open. Not a big deal but could have been a nice service !
