Francesca is THE nicest host around! She is so warm and friendly and genuinely interested in her guests. And extremely accommodating in every way! She welcomes the opportunity to practice her English so it was fun conversing with her. The room we had (Giglio Rosso) was very spacious with a king bed in one room and two twins in an adjoining room. We used that space for our luggage and for getting dressed. It was great having the extra space! But the best part was the terrace. It was so nice to open the doors and sit outside. The surrounding hills and valleys are beautiful and having a personal view of Greek temples and the Mediterranean sea was spectacular! Breakfast on the roof deck is hard to beat. Fresh air, sunshine, fabulous views and so many food choices is more than anyone can ask for! The servers bring tons to every table and then are happy to pack up what you don’t eat for a snack later. Overall, this was a top notch experience!

The only negatives are the many stairs you need to climb to get to the rooms. While the hostess Francesca insisted on carrying our heavy bags, climbing stairs is not for everyone. Also, it’s less than a mile away from Valley of the temples, yet you cannot walk it due to the number of speeding cars on the street.

Very nice small B&B with very welcoming hosts! The owners are very caring and friendly. The communication was great prior to check-in. The room was very nice, we stayed in triple and it was perfect room size for us (2 adults and 1 child). The beds were super super comfortable! we slept as babies! The breakfast was one of the most delicious that we had in Sicily. We had plenty of options of sweets, cold meats/ cheese; we received a tasty omelette, yogurts. Everything was fresh and tasty! We felt very welcomed! The B&B is 5 min from the entrance to Valley of temples (our main reason for stay in Agrigento) and it is about 20-25 minutes from Scala dei Turchi (I loved that place a lot).

The B&B located by the road, so in the morning you can hear the cars driving by. It did not bother us at all, it did not wake us up, but when we woke up we can hear it. In the morning, I went to take a shower, and after about 10 min hot water finished...I am not sure why it happened, luckily my husband can take shower in colder water :)

The rooms are very nicely decorated and cute. It was very clean and comfortable. The parking and the instructions for self check in were very easy. Location is very good, very close to the temples and if you have a room at the front you have a view of the whole valley, or you can go up to the terrace and enjoy the views. The breakfast was a highlight, freshly prepared by Francesca, who didn't understand much English and we didn't speak Italian but we still managed to communicate. I would definitely stay again if I was to visit the area.

The parking area needs a bit of doing up as the entrance was quite rough. Otherwise everything was great.

Francesca's hospitality is exceptional. We received a small bottle of wine upon arrival, to be enjoyed on the rooftop terrace later in the evening. Fracesca also kindly booked dinner for us at a nearby trattoria so we could unpack, get settled, relax and enjoy the view from our balcony. Breakfast on the rooftop, with the other guests, was superb...lots of local food and drinks to enjoy...the ricotta breakfast tiramisu was delicious and I am wondering why haven't I enjoyed this before.

There was nothing about the stay I didn't like

The host couple were absolutely the best hosts I have ever had - they were kind, friendly, and always ready to help. We were even given a free upgrade to a larger room with the temple view, which was a nice surprise. The lady of the house was always available to help us with anything we needed, and she even helped us book a taxi from the train station to the hotel. She always respond promptly through WhatsApp. Because the Airbnb was located in an old building without an elevator, her husband kindly offered to help us carry our heavy luggage to our room on the third floor. But the highlight of our stay was definitely the Sicilian breakfast provided by the hosts. It was absolutely phenomenal - the orange juice was fresh and delicious, the cappuccino was perfectly made, and we had a choice between a fried egg or an omelette. We were also treated to some delicious Sicilian cake and pistachio, which was a nice touch. The breakfast was even better than the breakfast buffet I've had at some four-star hotels. Overall, I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone who is planning to visit Agrigento. The hosts were wonderful, the room was comfortable, and the breakfast was top-notch. It was a truly memorable experience.

In addition to the wonderful hosts and delicious breakfast, there were a few minor aspects of the Airbnb that could be improved. Because we visited in the winter, the room was a bit chilly at night, particularly the bathroom. While there was a heater provided in the bathroom, it did take some time to warm up and if you turned it off at night, the bathroom could be quite cold when you used it in the morning. Despite this, it was still a minor issue and did not significantly impact our overall enjoyment of the stay. Overall, the Airbnb was a great value and we would definitely consider staying there again in the future.

Breakfast was over the top with so much to choose from. Loved having it on the balcony with the view of the Valley of the Temples from there and our room. Parking was so easy and plentiful. You can easily walk to the Valley of the Temples entering on the Temple of Juno side and return from Temple of Heracle The walk uphill to town was on us as I am sure there was a bus we could have taken or a cab as well.

Nothing was an issue but to have a bus schedule handy or posted the cost of a cab into town would be helpful.

Dimora dei Templi is a wonderful B and B: our very comfortable, beautifully furnished room had a terrace with an amazing view of the Valle dei Templi (which is very close) and a gorgeous, spacious bathroom, and everything was spotlessly clean. Though it is in a quiet, rural spot it was very easy to find and is a short walking distance to some excellent restaurants. There is also plenty of parking space at the property. Francesca and Vincenzo were so lovely and welcoming, and served a superb breakfast of delicious local specialities on the roof terrace (again, with a fabulous view of the temples) – we felt thoroughly pampered. We cannot imagine a better place to stay in the Agrigento area and would love to return.

Wonderful view of Valley of the Temples from the rooftop terrace (where breakfast was served). The sweet & savory breakfast was ample & delicious--fresh fruit & juices, yogurt, a slice of fritatta & bruschetta, plus some sweet cakes--the best were the homemade cannoli (yes, a breakfast treat!). Our room did not face the temples (others do), but was still spacious and comfortable.

This B&B was extremely clean, bright and has amazing views from its rooftop terrace. Overlooks the Valley of Temples and the sea with amazing sunsets. The self checkin worked perfectly and Francesca replied immediately via email or WhatsApp to any questions we had. The breakfast served by friendly Cristina and was top notch with choices of coffee, tea, juices, and all you can eat sweet and savoury selections of food. Highly recommend this accommodation!

The property is very close to the Temple of valley. It has a great view for sunset and Temple of Valley on the terrace. Breakfast is served in the morning on the terrace. The rooms are tastefully designed and very clean. Breakfast is absolutely wonderful. Christina is a great chef who uses fresh ingredients from the garden to make delicious cakes and sweets. The cakes are to die for. The owners, Francesca and Daniel are such pleasant and nice couple. They are fast on getting back to me. I forgot my travel guide in the room after checkout and Daniel made two calls to update me on the status and had someone wait for me for pick up (this may sound normal for the hotel but this is a B&B and they do not live on the property) I really appreciate their efforts.
