Hotel Della Valle

The room was comfortable and the breakfast was very good. The maintenance staff was exceptionally responsive to an electrical problem in our first room (the wall sockets in the bedroom and bathroom did not work). He recognized the issue immediately and organized a room change. Had we been there longer we would have enjoyed the hotels amenities.

When we initially advised the front desk that the electrical outlets in our room were not working, the receptionist's attitude indicated that she thought we were merely inept American tourists who didn't know what we were talking about. Once maintenance confirmed the problem, we were given another room. The hotel was considerably further away from the Valley of the Temples than we were lead to believe.

The location is just perfect, very close to both the city center and the "Valle dei Templi" (Valley of the Temples). I chose a slightly bigger room for 2 pax (18 sqm) and it was very clean and comfortable. The reception desk personnel was always very friendly and professional. The pool and the surrounding park are extremely beautiful and very well maintained. Very good value for money!

The central A/C works properly but it's pretty noisy, especially at night. The private outdoor car park is always available, but sometimes it is not enough, so that one must park in the surrounding areas, when it's full.

lovely hotel well located for visiting the sights in Agrigento. The pool area was a fabulous way to cool off after a day out in the sun. The restaurant was also nice and we actually ended up eating there both nights of our stay.

The only negative I would say was that the breakfast room was not air conditioned. if you can get a table close to the outside doors it is much more pleasant.

I didn’t like the staff at the reception when we arrived. They told us the wrong place to go. Went up in 2 lifts with kids and suitcases only to find out later on that it was the building across the entrance. So down we went again, out and up again in 40 degrees heat. Not fun

The staff went beyond my expectations for delivering an exceptional service. They were happy and effective in delivering all my special requests. A real pleasure to be treated with a smile and respect. They arranged a private tour of the temples with a very friendly and knowledgeable guide.

There is always room for improvement but for the season and the type of facilty I have no suggestions for improvement.

The staff were very helpful, the room was quiet, comfy and a lovely view over the garden. The breakfast was delicious and the overall feeling of the hotel was lovely, especially the gardens.

Be mindful when traveling during the off season, the restaurant will be closed. But there were some lovely restaurants nearby that the staff recommended.

The breakfast area by the pool was really nice and comfortable. The swimming pool was so beautiful and clean I really loved it.

Just the area wasn’t really close to anything that we could walk to, everything seems to far so we didn’t try to go anywhere which was ok cause we only stayed for 2 nights.

The location, very close to the Valley of the Temples. The gardens, the restaurant, the swimming pool, the breakfast area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The balcony of our family bedroom.

The hotel could use some general renovation.

The reception staff were very helpful when we asked to change rooms. The hotel is near a bus stop and convenient for the city and the archaeological sites.

Although we had booked one night they were able to provide us with another room for a second nights stay.

The extra room we had did have a table and chairs out on the balcony but the table top was in definite need of replacement. The outside pool loungers also needed repair.
