Colleverde Park Hotel

Nice location, not central in relation to Agrigento, but close to the "Valley" of temples, with a wonderful view. Superb garden. Restaurant and breakfast good. I discovered mojitos in the bar menu and ordered one. The reaction of the bartender was impressive: He decided it was above him, and went to fetch a colleague from the kitchen. Even more impressively, she arrived quickly and brought a recipe and two small parcels of ingredients, unopened plastic wrapped with labels from the grocery store, one with mint leaves, the other with two limes. Must have been replaced weekly or bi-weekly just in case some customer ordered mojito. She followed the recipe and produce two (- my wife had changed her preferences and joined my order during the process -) excellent mojitos.

I must admit that I was expecting just a fairly simple business hotel here. The rooms are indeed business style - quite small, but very clean and functional, but the main event is the gorgeous garden! The breakfast rooms gives onto a lovely outside area with beautiful flowers and trees and comfortable seating, and the most spectacular view of the Valley of the Temples, especially at night. The staff couldn't have been lovelier, the dinner and breakfast were amazing and the beers cold and refreshing. I absolutely loved it, and would heartily recommend this hotel to others!

The Colleverde Hotel was reasonably convenient to the Valley of the Temples by taxi. The room was small but clean and the bathroom had a large shower and the usual towels. The restaurant was large, to cope with tour groups, and there were nice gardens. A large comforatable lounge was available. The evening meal was adequate, rather than outstanding. The breakfast was satisfactory with something for everyone. This hotel was fine for a one night stop over.

The room only had one chair, which was not adequate for two guests. There were small details which could be improved. The same tongs were provided to pick up both the sliced ham and sliced cheeses. This was not a problem unless this affects religious observances or food allergies.

I love the Mediterranean decor of colorful ceramics, the inviting comfortable chairs and sofas arranged in intimate conversational groupings. It's close to the city centre and the eastern entrance to the archeological park. The sunroom dining room overlooking the gardens with a view of the temples is spectacular. There is a large gazebo connected to separate little patios. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet offers a generous selection and variety of food.

The bed was too firm for us so we didn't sleep as well as we would have liked. Parking lot is small and not easy to maneuver since it's on a steep hill.

the property has a fantastic location only 15min walk or 5min by car from the valley of the temples site. it has an amazing wooden roof terrace with a panoramic view of the sea and all the temples. the staff were super friendly and helpful. the food was great in the hotel restaurant and also within walking distance of other amazing restaurants. easy drive down to the city centre and to visit the beach and Turkish steps. the gardens of the hotel are simply amazing and plenty of parking on site. A highly recommended place to stay.

Real unique homely atmosphere, not like modern day hotels. Beautiful lounge area & magnificent garden area.Must be really spectacular in summertime.Breakfast offered a great variety of Sicilian pastries & cold meats & cheese & eggs & bacon. Room was very well laid out.We had large room.Staff we’re extremely professional & helpful& made great effort to communicate with us.Ideal location to visit Valley of Temples. Good walking route to entrance.Excellent covid measures observed.

Perhaps the property would consider adding grab handles in the large shower to assist in case of slipping.Perhaps they could also consider adding coat hangers in the room where one could hang coat if wet.

Excellent location, within walking distance of the Museum of Archeology and not far from the temples. Beautiful, peaceful gardens which are a lovely place to relax with a book. The staff are friendly and helpful and the room was very comfortable. There are a few eating places very close by, ranging from a very good cafe to an expensive but excellent Michelin restaurant

We were lucky in that we got a parking place at the hotel, but parking is tight. (I believe there may be valet parking.)

Nice business style hotel located close to the Temples. Large attractive garden area in back. Agrigento is not an attractive city (at least what we saw of it), so it was good to be below the city, closer to the Valley of the Temples. Friendly, helpful staff. Great breakfast. Several restaurants just across the street. Hotel also has nice dining room and lovely dining room staff.

It's a fairly large hotel, so has a lot of tour groups. Parking can be tight.

We had a great stay at the hotel. It's just a (I guess) 20' walk to the Temple Valley one side and to the town centre other side. There's also a supermarket very close to get everything you want. The hotel gave us some restaurant tips and I have to really pass on the trattoria dei templi pretty much just across the street. that was the best night we had on our entire trip. so we would definitely recommend this hotel and agrigento.

the garden offered a great view on the temples but seemed not too clean. but maybe we were still a little early on the season. and it was definitely not dirty. so it's not really a big deal.

This has obviously been a lovely hotel and has been shut during Covid. They were starting to get things open but fairly slowly. The staff were extremely helpful and the rooms were clean. Good location for visiting the Valley of the Temples. Car parking was free and felt secure on site.

This looked like a hotel that had been closed for a while there was no restaurant open during our stay and the grounds were a bit scruffy. Simple things could have been done such as having places to sit on the terraces during the afternoon when guests have returned from the temples. This was just starting to happen the night before we left. Breakfast was the worst we had during our stay in Sicily.
