We had two rooms during our stay and they both had an excellent views to the pool and beach. We had to switch rooms becouse on our third night there was a plumbing issues in the restroom. The staff was so nice and accomodating and for switching rooms they did not charge us for the mini bar food we consumed. Highly recommend !! Definetly will stay here next time I visit Playa hermosa.

While we stayed here, we were working remotly and the wifi was very good someday and then other days horrible. So it was kinda unpredictable,. We manage to work fine but just fyi ask if there are wifi issues.

Everything except the prices for every little thing.

Patricia immediately telling me in a not so nice tone that I had booked for only 2 people. We had our 16 year old daughter who I did put on my reservation through booking.com, $80.00 extra for the 2 nights. The room was a quadruple room with a King bed and a Queen bed yet I supposedly booked it for only 2. Ridiculous. Then $60.00 more for 2 Chihuahua's. None of this was on the site. Never again. We were the only guest in the entire hotel. Complete rip off for a Tuesday and Wednesday night. My wife's birthday was ruined. We were going to stay an extra night but were quoted $170.00. So Hasta la Vista.

Spectacular oceanfront location -- fantastic views and adjacent to a nature preserve and a quick walk to several restaurants (VIDA HERMOSA and BOWIE'S were our favorites.) Property was so well-kept . . . inside and out. Very relaxed vibe. Friendly staff. Excellent in-room coffee (Britta)

We were sad Backyard Bar & Restaurant had closed because on-site place is always nice, but it was actually something we appreciated later . . . our hotel was really a quiet oasis, and it was so close to lots of bars, food, etc. and short ride to Jaco, too.

2 coffee pods are given free each night, however it is not recommended to use the tap water and you must pay for the provided bottles… make sure you bring your own water.

Great location and on the opposite side of the hermosa beach strip from the loud beachside nightclub that has moved in. Nice pool. high ceilings. Clean. Lovely beachside grassy area with chairs and tables. Safe and secure parking with night guard. Staff very friendly and accommodating and bilingual.

Some of the fixtures were a bit old and showing their age. My wife actually got shocked pretty strongly when trying to turn on the bedside light.

The view of the beach was wonderful. The pool and grounds were very well kept. The mattress was very inviting.

The Wi-Fi in our room was very spotty. It only worked well on the balcony. The safety box did not work properly with the code and was only accessible with a key. The A.C. in one room did not cool. There were not any accessible outlets from the bed.

I was in the beachfront room and especially liked the wraparound balcony. I assumed that it was a shared balcony, but it wasn't. The habitation was large and airy -- two rooms with two balcony entrances. I arrived late and checked in after hours, and given the current situation, the nearby restaurants had closed. Jaco is a short drive with plenty of options, but the restaurants there were required to close early also (10 pm at the time). The bar and restaurant next door are closed, but there are several options within walking distance of the hotel. It's only the late night options that are limited.

it is next to the highway like many hotels so you just adapt, might be an idea to offer ear plugs like another hotel we stayed at

the location was beautiful and the size of the room. We loved that it was secluded.

Wifi was really bad and I wish the coffee was free.

This was the first Hotel of our 8 day trip and the hotel was perfect. Access to the pool was a step from our room; the ocean could be seen from our outside area and we could hear the ocean waves as we slept. The staff was very friendly.
