Hotel Dann Carlton Bogota

Front desk people were very nice and helpfull.also spoke English. Taxi outside available during day time.i used uber but convenient when needed.great breakfast.room was nice,clean,minibar,safe,fridge,air-conditioning was working good.shower was nice,enough light in the room.i messed up the safe,reported at the front desk and within 5 minutes the maintenance people knocked on the door to fix it.laundry service was great and affordable.house keeping crew was outstanding.guestfriendly 100 pct when booked for 2.must registrate guest at front desk for no cost.even breakfast for 2.i cannot fault this awesome hotel.if there is one thing to find it s the operation of the elevators with the card is shady sometimes but this was only a minor thing for me.also on the opposite of the road there is a supermarket there is a atm just around the corner(exit to the right)also a bigger supermarket 24hr on walking distance.also the shopping mall.safe are to walk even when dark.this is a very good place to stay.

The taxi drivers were amazing. The location was safe even though it is a bit far from most attractions. The rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. Additionally the hotel staff were exceptional.

The hotel restaurant has a good and varied breakfast. The service during the morning hours were excellent however it is the opposite at night. We had once dined at the restaurant for the convenience but the food took forever and we were the only ones in the restaurant. That was the only small detail but perhaps it was just not the right day.

Breakfast was good, it had a lot of options and staff was really nice. The location was perfect. It was close to a shopping center that we liked a lot and also close to other areas with nice restaurants and museums.

I thought the air didnt circulate properly inside the rooms when the window was closed and it could only be opened a little. The room felt a little stuffy

Nice basic buffet, as expected in a more Colombian traditional service. Local fruits, cheese, sandwich ham, bakery goods and scrambled eggs. Juices, coffee yogurt. Very friendly and attentive staff, knew me by name as I approached desk. Nice surprise... came back to my room and it was my birthday and the hotel had left a nice little pastry and balloons... very appreciated - Ive never had that happen before!

Not really a didn't like; First Stay, assortment of bathing goods in BR, second, pretty empty. 1st: Small minibar, 2nd: Nothing. BR commode very tight to counter, nothing that can be fixed. Getting a cab, especially at night can be a challenge and Hotel seemed challenged helping to get one. Not their fault, but as a traveler in Bogota, you use a cab to go everywhere and traffic is a nightmare. Some "local" commuting guidance would be very helpful!

This was our second time at the hotel and it was excellent.

The only problem was a smell of cooking in our room on our last night, probably from the air-conditioning openings but it was only on our last night.

The room was very spacious, and the beds were comfortable. Staff was extra friendly and always helpful.

The only thing I didn't like was the placement of the bed, the air conditioning blows in your face.

we had to request soap a couple of days and the breakfast wasn’t my favorite, other than that it was great.

The Dann Carlton we stayed in had no pool/jacuzzi. But they have like 3 Dann Carlton in bogota

didn’t have facilities in the. bedroom like coffee, tea or infusions like other hotels has. no privacy, the staff came many times in the room with our permission using their own key. the heater didn’t work.
