The receptionist (a man with glasses) was very nice. He waived the extra fee for the dog and we were allocated in a nice room on the ground floor, so it was easy for us to walk the dog. The garden area around the hotel is good enough for bbq or dog walk and the grass has been cut recently. The room was reasonably clean although as many say a bit old-fashioned and could use a makeover. But overall: clean! There are vending machines in the reception hall with snacks and drinks and a restaurant as well (which we haven`t tried as we drove out to Brugge city that evening). Also free parking is available. I do agree with some reviews that the rooms are old and could use some new paint. But for the price we paid, considering we stayed 5 minutes from Brugge city centre and with a dog, it was a great option! We would definitely recommend for one night.

I only deduct 2 out of 10 stars for the following: 1. The mattrasses were horrible, unfortunately! Not just very stiff, but you can literally feel every metal spring core when you sleep. 2. The walls are so thin and there is no sound proof in the rooms. We could hear the group of men above us talking whole night. The only way to fall asleep was with ear plugs.

Ruhe, cosy bed, garden, chairs outside the room at the garden, options of lights, fridge, kettle, TV, windows which one can open, heating worked fine in room plus bathroom, the latter one had a safe technique( it switched off after a while , you can switch it on again but you are safe because you can fall asleep and it is timed , switches itself off automatically). Very helpful stuff and manager. Free WiFi.

Great comfy pillows., the garden, manager was available via phone after I could not check in because no code was sent to me, after 1st time using roaming to call, which was a bit stress at 11pm at night, the friendly manager got it sorted. Many TV channels.

The bath had no plug, so it was a shower only. WiFi didn't work. The floor seemed to have coke like liquid spots on the floor as if it didn't get mopped.

Perfect location very near to a fantastic park and next to a small field with cute farm animals. Sweet room, fit for purpose. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the picnic benches and the swing. Very easy check in and check out.

We would've liked to be able to open the window. The bathroom needed a bit more clean as there were strings of hair when we entered the bath and the bathroom that didn't belong to us.

I have stopped here on previous occasions due to ease of commuting to and from a major trunk road. Added bonus is free on site parking, as it states "Value Stay", it's a no frill accommodation with all the facilities you need close by or even on site.

Nothing comes to mind, as stated it's a "Value Stay", if you want better then you should have booked a 4 star hotel

convenient bus routes. Coffee machine in foyer. Easy to use facilities. Fridge and iron in the room as standard.

No bath plug. A bit out of town although regular bus routes. don’t be put off by the shutters, they are to keep the light/heat out, not to prevent crime. Did remind me a bit of a roadside motel and neighbours were a bit loud.

The friendliness of staff and the ability to park a large van were just wonderful. It is good stay if you have a car and it is close to the bus stop. Staff were very accomodating to allow me to park an extra large van.

It was a little far out from Brugge if you decided to walk. Other than that no problem.

Did not have breakfast free parking easy to get to town

I paid for 2 rooms 1 basic 1 superior and they were the same. I asked for a microwave but there wasn't a spare one but the staff let me use their facilities in the restaurant

the price level and comfort of the bed and bathrooms are good , location is nearby city center but enough far from the crowd, neighbourhood is nice, free wifi and free parking makes it very useful place. I recommend.

Although it was written in the property list, there were no water boiler/kettle and hairdryer in the room. They should make them available. Also the number of available power plug is not enough for 3 people to connect the chargers etc, they should put a plug multiplier cord to the rooms.
