Radisson Blu Hotel, Bruges

Nicely located beside the train station, easy to park with plenty of space directly at the hotel door (entrance is via car park up one floor from street level, ok for low/sports cars, not super narrow, e6.50 for one night). Rooms are nice with big windows letting plenty of light come in. 10 min walk to centre of the city. Friendly staff on check in and in bar/restaurant.

I requested a double bed but they do not have that available for standard double room, it is two singles pushed together. The gym is quite small, not suitable for more than one person at a time.

Handy to the station and in easy walking distance to Bruge without being caught in the tourist bubble. We were there overnight only, but managed an afternoon, after dinner and early morning walk around the city.

Clear direction and signposting on how to access the hotel from the train station would be appreciated.

Hotel location right outside Bruges central train station is perfect if you are arriving by train or by car (24h parking is amazing value at 5 Euro). There is a free shuttle bus to Bruges old town centre from the train station, or you could simply go there on foot (10-15 minutes walk). The hotel itself is a new building with modern, clean, well-lit rooms (floor-to-ceiling windows). Beds were comfortable, bathroom/shower was brand new and very functional. Room WiFi did not work for any of our devices, but hotel staff were quick to provide us the password for another WiFi network that worked. The hotel bar looked nice and was very lively, with lots of customers until after midnight (but we did not visit it ourselves).

There were only two towels per person (presumably body/face), no towel(s) available for hands. Room service food options were rather limited and didn't sound very inspired (did not try).

The location is very good, perhaps 300 metres from the Central Rail Station and access to the free shuttle to the main square.

The breakfast buffet was very poorly organized. For example, the toaster, the butter and margarine and the spreads were in three different locations. The warming system for the hot foods, eggs, bacon, sausage, did not keep the food warm. The eggs were consistently overcooked and dry while the bacon was consistently undercooked and greasy. The fresh fruit was below average compared to similarly priced hotels. I would suggest that the manager take the short trip to visit the NH Collection Hotel in Antwerp to see how a breakfast buffet should be organized and how the hot food should be cooked and presented.

It was nice and easy to walk in and out of Bruges. The room was nice and modern. Shower was great. Plenty of room for a family of 4 in one of the family rooms. We were staying here on the way to our main holiday so the car park next to the hotel was great. It was nice and easy to drive to.

The kids would have liked a little more choice at breakfast but my husband and I thought it was good. Also we just managed to fit into the car park - BMW x3 with roofbox, would be good if there was some other parking next to the hotel for “taller” cars.

The location is close to the train station. Comfortable & clean room. Amenities like soap, shampoo, body lotion, coffee etc. were replenished daily. Large soft towels. Super soft toilet paper.

It was hard to find the entrance to the hotel. Basically after existing the train station you need to go up ~30 stairs to a promenade. The escalators were not working during my 4d stay, and if there's an elevator I was unable to find it. I saw some other guests with luggage looking for ways to overpass the stairs, so it's probably not just me. Perhaps it's more accessible if you come by car from the parking lot, but from the train station it was a challenge. The hotel is quite far (20-30m by foot) from the city center. I got a room on the 1st floor, which is even below reception on the 2nd floor. That means my window was at street level, so I had to keep the curtains closed at all times. If I ever visit Bruges again, I will likely stay somewhere else closer to the city center.

best bathroom we’ve had since the start of our travels, super luxe with rainwater shower head and really nice shampoos, soaps and lotions. Bed was super comfy.

the property entrance was a bit hard to find, the official entrance is actually from the top level of the parking lot but you couldn’t see this from the street. met a few others who were also lost too. The entrance is a small door on the side. Area surrounding smells like sewerage for some reason but the rooms are ok because they don’t have windows that open. location is a bit of a walk from old town but not too far. Would’ve been nice to have a pool.

* The hotel is close to the train station, which is very helpful when you arrive late or need to leave early to go to another place. * We received a free upgrade on our bedroom (from Standard to Superior). * It was possible to leave our luggage there before doing the check-in. * The people were kind and friendly. * We stayed on the 8th floor and we didn’t listen to any kind of noise related to the trains * The view of the room was amazing, we could see the highest points of Bruges from there * The area of the room was great and appropriate. The bed was huge and very comfortable. * Amenities were great and at the level of a 4-star hotel

* The location for us was amazing but if you want to be near the center of Bruges, take into consideration that the hotel is approximately 2km from there.

Check In - Check Out went very smoothly. Lovely room for 'Standard', with excellent facilities. Good choices for breakfast. Hotel rooms clean, comfortable and very quiet. Location and Parking was very good. (Please note limited headroom of 2.15mtrs to enter the car park). Special thanks to Daijiro on the front desk for organising an extra nights stay.

Baked Beans to be available for a Breakfast choice would make the breakfast 5 star! Just a few more choices for the evening meal in the Black Swan restaurant would make it more appealing.

the hotel is super close to train station, less then 5 Mins walk with a small supermarket nearby, the room is spacious, clean and modern. the bed is super big with comfortable mattress and pillow.

hotel didn’t consider we are family trip and they offer us a room without bathroom door, yes, you can totally see from outside when bath, that’s make not convenient for a trip with teen. also, no tooth brush and paste provide, lucky that we can go and buy at supermarket nearby 15mins before it close. I guess hôtel should warmly remind us for better preparation.
