Mine Hotel

Breakfast was very good. The offer of eggs and omelettes and pancakes was an unexpected extra and a nice surprise. The coffee was made to order and the staff was exceptional in terms of service.

The curtain in the room did not let a lot of light in because it was not wide enough to allow light and privacy. The little carpets on either side of the bed were a bit of a nuisance because they kept moving around. The concrete floor was a little cold. Perhaps a larger carpet that didn't move around would have been a better choice. The sink in the bathroom splashed all over the place which meant that one had to put on one's clothes after using the sink because there would be water splashes all over the clothes and anything on the countertop was always wet. Bidet was an added obstacle.

This is an incredibly special place. I was very very happy with it and would stay again. The location is superb, staff were professional and helpful. Housekeeping was always on time, and you never even noticed their presence. The breakfast was exquisite. It was too chilly to use pool, but it was beautiful. Everything was so well done. They organized transport to and from the airport- on time and organized. I was SO impressed.

My only wish would have been for a fitness center on site. The rooms were somewhat small- but I understand that these are pieces of a boutique hotel. I knew what I was getting into before I booked.

The Mine Hotel is brilliantly located in the Palermo Viejo district with multiple restaurants and bars close by. The design of the hotel is attractive. The breakfast was very good and, best of all, were the staff who were always extremely helpful and kind.

The hotel is quite expensive for BA, but Palermo is a trendy area so probably you pay a premium for that. The rooms are also a bit small and if you stay on the first floor there can be noise from guests down below and also quite a loud noise coming from some kind of generator near the pool.

We stayed here for a few days before taking a cruise. For us The Mine hotel was in a very walkable neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and shopping. We felt very safe when walking. The staff were so helpful and friendly and courteous. The staff assisted us in booking whatever tours we wanted. They advised us on public transportation costs and practices. We had requested through the hotel a transfer from the airport to the hotel hotel . After a 10 hours flight it was a relief to find our driver waiting for us outside the terminal. The hotel is charming and breakfast is delicious.

The soundproofing between the rooms could be a little better.

There are two things in Mine Hotel that are superior: location and service. Situated at the heart of Palermo Soho nearby all the best restaurants and bars. The front desk is always manned by two or three exceptionally helpful staff who can answer and arrange every single request or need you may have. "We have a list for everything" was their slogan often used. Breakfast was also fresh and versatile. You can order practically everything.

Coffee at breakfast was quite weak and blunt. Investment to a new barrista quality espresso machine would be welcome. Rooms are nice but quite tight and isolation of noise not quite adequate nearby elevators

I booked Mine Hotel based on the reviews and I am so happy with the choice. Mine is a homey place that is in an excellent and convenient location. My friend and I walked every single day, and the dining options nearby are extensive and good, from everyday fare to fine dining. We had breakfast at the hotel and it was a wonderful way to start each day. The room was comfortable in a home-like way, and everything was nice and clean. I particularly enjoyed the serenity and view of the back patio and pool. If you're looking for the Ritz, Mine Hotel isn't it; it's just a nice, boutique hotel that is in an excellent location. I'm saving the staff for last, as they were a big part of the positive experience we had. The staff are knowledgeable, they are courteous, and they are friendly. We had a lot of questions -- directions, best transportation mode for our activities, dining, etc. --- and we always had excellent and engaging discussions; no perfunctory answers ever. We followed three of their dining recommendations, all different based on what we wanted for that particular day, and the recommendations were spot on. From answering our questions, to calling a taxi, to getting us restaurant reservations, service was always quick and with a smile. I wholeheartedly recommend a stay at the Mine Hotel!

The front staff was incredibly helpful with booking our transfers to and from the hotel. Tomas, Claudio, Florencia -everyone was helpful and always got back to us in a timely manner. Great service! The location of the hotel is perfect since it’s close to a cambio and popular food spots like Don Julio, La Cabrera, and a great bar called Teseo. We walked since everything was so close. The breakfast was exceptional! Mixed fruit, personalized omelets, fried potatoes, espressos on top of the normal hotel breakfast. The breakfast staff was so nice that when a guest sitting next to us didn’t order an omelet, the servers reminded them that a hot menu was available. Our room faced the street but was still quiet so we had a good sleep.

Beautiful, tastefully decorated boutique hotel. The room were spacious and comfortable with great air-conditioning,essential in BA summer! The location was ideal, you have so many bars/restaurants on your doorstep and the Palermo area is very pretty with cobbled and tree lined streets. We loved the pool area too, so nice to cool off after a days sightseeing and a real tropical oasis full of plants & flowers. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, we didn’t try any of the cooked options but everything we had was great especially the Dulce de Leche and excellent coffee. Above all else the staff were outstanding. They spoke great English and were always super friendly and helpful, suggesting restaurants, tango shows, sightseeing etc. There was a card in our room every day with the weather forecast on it and also an English style newspaper with the news in the UK for us. They also provided a plug adaptor in our room! Such thoughtful touches which show they go above and beyond and make it far more personal than staying in a larger hotel. Thank you for a truly memorable stay!

Only problem was mosquitoes by the pool( not the hotels fault obviously!) so you just need your spray!

Clean, new hotel, room and bathroom. Amazing full breakfast included (hot dishes, multiple contental choices, assorted cheeses). Nice location in Palermo Soho near restaurants (Fogon Asado, a 15 minute walk was a Argentinean eating experience). Would stay here again!

Check-in time was clearly communicated to be 2 pm. And that was when room was available, as promised. However, for travelers like us that had just arrived exhausted on a red eye flight, waiting a couple of hours was disappointing. I was hoping room might have been available a bit earlier than promised (which I've experienced elsewhere), but that wasn't the case.

The staff make this an amazing place to stay in Buenos Aires. Always helpful and smiling! They went out of their way to make our honeymoon special for us. The location in Palermo Soho is great too, close by nice restaurants and bars, and it’s easy enough to get to the main tourist sites by taxi. The room itself was as described and very clean. We also enjoyed the breakfast. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in BA.
