1828 Smart Hotel Boutique

Perfectly situated in the coolest neighbourhood of Buenos Aires, staff made our honeymoon stay exquisite - welcoming us with rose petals on the bed and coincidentally arriving in perfect time for their free cakes (each afternoon), which we enjoyed with a glass of champagne. The staff are beyond helpful and warm and from their delicious breakfast to swimming in their heated pool, the 1828 Smart Hotel offered a stylish and luxurious stay.

Clean and comfortable room with nice fixtures, DELICIOUS breakfast, extremely nice staff who always went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Would definitely recommend to others without a doubt. The pool looked lovely (smallish), but we didn't have time to use it. The breakfast system was nice, considering the pandemic makes it impossible to do buffets these days. It was easily the best system I've used so far. They had us fill out a little survey online every night to put in our requests for breakfast the next morning (several options available, and you can always get more the morning of).

The front door system is a little strange (you have to buzz in every time), and the door doesn't always open properly so a lot of times the front desk person had to come open it for us. More of a hassle for them than for us, though.

this is a charming hotel in a great location with excellent service!

I loved the hotel and its intimacy. perhaps however coffee capsules should be provided for free as this is normally the case in other high categories hotels

just enough people staying in the hotel to be not a concurred place to be around

Great boutique hotel in Palermo easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. very friendly staff lovely extras like free bbq on a Sunday and nice petit fours delivered to your room each day, the best breakfast of our whole trip.

Great location, comfortable bed and very good water pressure in the shower, beautiful interior, lovely little pool, attentive and professional staff

Very limited breakfast, no warm options - if you are staying for more than a few days, would get a bit repetitive. The Aircon in the room is quite loud. The bar is quite limited too in terms of options of drinks and cocktails (e.g. no mojito to enjoy by the pool).

This is a nice stay, it was close to almost all the restaurants we went and bars/clubs. It isn't close to the touristic places, tho but uber is cheap so there was no problem.

There was nobody to help us carry our luggage up. I liked everything.

beautiful hotel. we upgraded between days and the room upgrade was definitely worth it. great location. staff was fabulous.

The most wonderful and kind staff and service. Amazing location in Palermo close to all the restaurants and shops and in general cool area. Lovely bed and pool area and refreshingly quite in the city. Also lovely breakfast with everything you could want :-)

Cocktail options in the hotel bar could be nice but cheap good champagne or cappucino at a moments notice!
