It is a lovely property located off the beaten path but still close to restaurants and fuel stations. Deer wander through the property adding to the charm. The staff is super friendly and helpful. My room was cozy and inviting - like staying in grandma's guest bedroom with it's own bathroom. They have a cute reading nook with a nice selection of books in the room. The complimentary continental breakfast was a nice bonus with coffee, hot cocoa, cereals, milk, bagels, fruit and yogurt. This is my new favorite motel.

This is a minor thing and definitely not a deal breaker for me - rustic staircase up to the rooms. It adds charm to the facility. But it would be difficult for someone with mobility issues.

Friendly host, super quiet location. Cosy room, and fantastic shower. Perfect stop on our trip from SD to Yellowstone, giving us a headstart on the cross WY leg! Nice to experience a privately owned place after days of chains. Nice simple breakfast too.

This was just such a sweet motel off the beaten path and so private and cute. There were deer grazing in the yard by the beautiful pine hedge , there was a sweet gazebo type place in the yard, we just loved our stay here.

we enjoyed our stay here all was good.

The place is super cute, everything was very clean, the hosts very nice and helpful! The room was comfortable, loved having the 2 chairs by the window! And loved having the guest book in the room to sign, and to see where other travelers came from!

Really nothing.. The bathroom was very small but that's not exactly an easy fix and isn't that critical either. We had so much luggage from our long trip it was tough to have it all in there, not a big deal as we only stayed one night.

Cute little hotel establishment tucked in the town’s vicinity not far away from the highway. Rooms are beautifully decorated and front desk staff are friendly and inviting. Thank you for the enjoyable stay!

Small shower and bathroom space.

Lovely premises, old-style country inn, but in an odd town. It would seem hard to justify staying here for more than a night, even though it's comfortable enough for a long stay. Staff helpful and attentive.

Breakfast was non-existent. Some aspects of the rooms are old-fashioned (e.g., sun comes through the blinds early in the morning). It wasn't great to be woken at 5am by the sounds of heavy vehicles (a garbage truck?) in the nearby streets.

Very friendly staff and smooth check-in process. Nice and cozy interior in the room. The location is far from the main road so it was very quiet.

Pillows are too hard. The Internet is not very good. The room is small, but that did not really bother us.

The service was personalized and excellent.

Ideal location for travel between black hills , (which is extremely commercialized,) and points west towards Yellowstone or north towards Banff …

Located in Eastern Wyoming, close to Mt. Rushmore, Custer, Crazy Horse, etc. The property is tucked away at the base of the hills. A morning walk gives a great view of the town, and is rewarded by a nice continental breakfast. The owners are friendly and helpful.

A bit pricy, but we visited at the peak of tourist season, so it was comparable to other venues.
