The location was perfect! The room was so darling! The shower was like a spa! The purple bed was super comfortable! The decor was perky and fun. The outdoor seating would be perfect for a evening cocktails or morning coffee! I can’t get over how cute this bungalow is! I would highly recommend and will definitely be staying next year when we come back.

1. Needs more lighting in bathroom above and below mirror. 2. The bathroom sink was really small…I would suggest a larger sink. When I turned the water on it splashed out and sprayed down the front of me. 3. Cabinet door to the right of microwave is backwards. 4. Cabinet door below kitchen sink was also on backwards.

The bungalow was adorable, cute decor, character of the structure was more than expected. Overall a 10, the location is convenient and room was clean. The only negative is we didn’t get to stay longer, but we plan to return for another stay next year. You won’t be disappointed with this small, convenient, clean, cozy, charming room.

The cable was spotty but that’s really petty to have to pick anything negative for sure a charming place. I really wouldn’t count this as a knock against the bungalow, unplug and enjoy.

The bungalows were so perfect! Roomy, clean and not far from anything in town! Fire pit outside was nice as well.

Only issue was the bathroom light was not bright enough. Needed to be brighter or installs light above the sink…hard to put makeup on or fix hair when you can’t see that well.

The owners go all out to make your stay enjoyable. A lot of nice touches to the room like bons-bons on the night stand, robes hanging by the bed, a laundry basket for dirty towels, fancy modern shower with all kinds of spray heads, and a real comfy bed just to mention a few of the amenities.

The cable tv was difficult to navigate. I turned off the TV and couldn't get back to the cable channel. I called the management and they took care of it right away. After that I just left the TV on.

This is the cutest little place. It's right in the middle of town. You can walk to the shops. The bed and shower were exceptional. I loved the way it is decorated. The light from the stained glass window made a round prism on the wall that reminded me of the pool at yellowstone.

No place to really do hair and makeup. A brighter light over the mirror in the bathroom would help but there is really no room to put your stuff.

We only stayed one night…however if you are looking to do all the Black Hills attractions..Rushmore, National Parks/monuments, etc. this location is ideal to see it all…and you will be challenged to find a place that is better. It is luxurious!

We could not get the coffee maker to work..however that could have been our fault.

It was very quiet, up to date and cute. The shower was awesome and the staff was extremely responsive. We received an email every morning asking how was our night and did we need anything.

There wasn’t really a good place for makeup, or really good light for it but it wasn’t a big deal.

Close to attractions & walking distance to town, dining & shopping. Quiet location, no noise from town. Steam shower is great, bed was very comfy & cozy & there was even a little kitchenette, if you want to cook. The owner responded quickly to any questions I had. We walked around our neighbor a few times, just before sunset, and saw many white tail deer roaming the local neighborhoods! (Exciting for us, but probably not the neighboring property owners!)

Everything was great! No complaints here! 👍🏻

Great location in Custer -easy walk to shops & restaurants. Nicely furnished - beds and shower are amazing!

The VFW is right behind the property; music played there is loud- if you are a light sleeper, this may not be the best place to stay (there is a sound machine to help).

It was clean, comfortable, and close to so many wonderful attractions in South Dakota’s Black Hills. We appreciated being able to walk to downtown Custer for dining out or to the grocery store to purchase food to prepare in the well-appointed kitchenette. The adjustable bed and spa shower were over-the-top!
