Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Pigeon Forge South, TN

Hotel was centrally located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Tub/shower combo were large and there was plenty of hot water. Lighting in room was great! Loved the River view from room and outside seating next to River. Breakfast afforded different options each day - all quite good. Housekeeping was awesome. Plenty of charging ports. Room was very spacious.

The pictures in the room were BEHIND the TV when there were other walls on which they could have been visible. There were NO towel bars at all. The bathroom was extremely small and the very small vanity was outside the bathroom in the room! BRING YOUR OWN PILLOW! Theirs were extremely small and had very little filling in them. There were only 3 small drawers for storage. Even though the room was larger than most, there was no table or chairs in the room to sit at and enjoy a snack, meal, or play a game.

Overall, this was a GREAT place to stay! The only complaint that I have is that the cleaning crew got started way to early in the morning, which would not be a problem if they wouldn't have been so loud. My daughter and I stayed for 5 nights, because it was her spring break, and they had awesome rates for the amount of nights that we spent. The continental breakfast was great, and the food was always fresh and hot. My daughter had a great time swimming in the indoor pool, and it was kept very clean inside the pool, and around the pool during our stay. Like I said, everything was perfect in my opinion, except for the fact that the cleaning staff were way to loud to begin cleaning as early in the morning that they started cleaning! Great Rates, Great Place, Great Location, and a Great Stay!!

I didn't like how loud the cleaning staff was to be starting as early in the morning that they started, and they woke me up every morning that me and my daughter stayed here, even when they started with the room furthest from ours, I was still woken up with how loud they were.

The location to all the events and attractions is perfect. Their daily breakfast was really good 👍.

There was a crack that ran the length of the sink(2 sinks in the room) in our room.

Front desk staff members were very friendly, and helpful. Our housekeeper Amee was super nice. When she would see us in the hall she would greet us with a smile. The breakfast host always had a smile on his face no matter how busy the dining room was. The breakfast selection was nice, there was something for everyone. Location was easy to find. Enjoyed sitting in the outside lounge area in the evenings listening to the water and watching the ducks.

Since we were the last room at the end of the hall, people using the ice maker in early AM hours would wake us up. We did have an issue with the carpet. The hot water heaters were being replaced prior to our stay. We were instructed upon check in to run the sink and the tub to get the hot water flowing. When we got to the room the water had already been ran, and it must have overflowed onto the carpet. So, the carpet was damp and had an odd smell.

The overall experience was great. From the hotel to staff and being close to anything and everything was super cool. We will definitely be back.We liked everything. There wasn't anything we didn't like. It took us like 20 minutes or less to get to Gatlinburg. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from. Overall I would give them a 10+ and would recommend them to others. Everything was so clean and crisp. Housekeeping did an excellent job cleaning the room. The entire place was exceptional!

After our four hour drive from Nashville we were able to get an earlier check in, which was very helpful, as we'd got afternoon tickets to Dollywood, and for obvious security reasons did not want to leave all our luggage in the car. We were allocated a room on the top (7th) floor, which was absolutely lovely. Room was faultlessly clean, with all the facilities we required. Bed was very comfortable, and ensured that during our four nights stay we slept well. The staff that we encountered were polite, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast provided was perfectly adequate. Plenty of free parking, Location, at the end of Parkway was perfectly OK, with numerous eateries nearby. I have no hesitation about recommending this hotel, and if ever I return to Pigeon Forge I'll book it again. 😊

The breakfast was great, but I wish there were more options. The breakfast patio view was very nice & relaxing. The room was very clean and beds were comfortable.

Not very many TV channels and only 1 channel for kids. (PBS kids) Not very many breakfast options. Front desk staff was not the friendliest, but the staff in the kitchen, dining area, and housekeeping were respectful, polite, and very kind. Between 12am-2am other families were not respecting the quiet hours and were very loud/drunk coming in and running down the halls.

The location was in the most convenient place- not in the busiest place but not far from a lot of attractions. Also the drive to Gatlinburg was shorter due to being so close to the edge of Pigeon Forge. My son loved every bit of it from the pool, the wide breakfast selection, and the “mini store” that they offered on sight. The cleaning staff were super friendly and prompt; the front desk we also pleasant. Easy check-in’s are always a plus for my family and I. I could tell the room was thoroughly cleaned before our stay. The bathroom were neat. No stains on any of the bedding and towels/wash cloths or smells upon arrival during our stay.

I wish it was better communication about the pool being unavailable. That was one of the biggest reasons we chose this location. Also, more pest control should be offered. We spotted a roach crawling along the wall before bedtime. That made it a hard time to relax and sleep on our last night.

The breakfast was great! The location was perfect for going to Dollywood. Lighting in the room was excellent. Not so much in the hallway tho.Rooms were comfortable and quiet. Except for the fire alarm that woke us up that morning. No fire though. We were told there was a leak in the boiler room dew to the heavy rain we got throughout the night. So we can blame that one on mother nature. Over all a good place to rest your head 😴

Needs better lighting in the hallways. Even with the dim light you could see there were alot of stains on the floor.

Very nice outside with well lit parking lot for safety. Great fire pit and sitting area. Hot Coffee 24/7. Hotel staff is very friendly ready to help any way possible. We were traveling with our disabled mom and the room was easy for here to get around. She enjoyed the view of the brook from her balcony. Room 477. Common areas was clean and smelled fresh.

Carpet was stained in both rooms 476 and 477. Found left over bojangles tea in the fridge. A spider web above the bathroom light fixture. Lamp shades were dingy. The bed cover in 477 had huge bleach spots. For the cost of the rooms I was expecting a nicer kept room.
