RiverStone Resort & Spa

We stayed in the 3 bedroom cabin and it was exceptional. The whole cabin is beautifully constructed and decorated, and furniture and fittings are very high quality. My 14 and 10 year olds were delighted with the arcade machine! I was a big fan of the rocking chairs on the veranda overlooking the river. And the hot tub! Our main concern when we booked was that Riverstone looked close to busy roads on the map and we wondered about traffic noise - we didn't get that at all, the setting was peaceful and lovely yet very close to amenities. We LOVED the lazy river and the pool. Barbecued on the veranda most nights. This has been the best vacation ever! DO visit Dollywood, Dollywood's Splash Country and Clingman's Dome!

A bar on-site we could visit in the evenings would be nice, although we were very happy at our cabin so that wasn't really needed.

Property and pool/lazy river were beautiful and well maintained. Front desk interaction was pleasant and very helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and perfect for our family. Absolutely loved the fireplace and view of the river from our balcony.

I would have preferred to be able to open the shades in the bedroom to let in natural light. The bedroom window faced the outside walkway to all the other rooms so if the shades were open, everyone could see inside the bedroom. The bedroom felt closed in because you had to keep the shade down at all times for privacy. Plus the housekeeping cart and suitcases rolling on the tile walkway by the bedroom window in the early morning hours was very noisy. We were awakened by the wheels clunking on each and every tile down the hall.

The location was great. Easy to get to Gatlinburg, Dollywood and all of Pigeon Forge., yet off of the main busy road. We loved the lazy river. Cooling off and relaxing there every night was perfection. Our bed and pillows were so comfortable that I wish it was my bed at home.

Without completely unpacking there wasn’t a ton of room in the bedroom for our suitcases. Our u it had bathroom lights outside the door. Which isn’t convenient when someone is still sleeping and you need to go in there and don’t want to disturb them. Small complaint in an otherwise wonderful stay. If you made me choose between lights outside the bathroom or a comfortable bed, I’d choose the bed every time. And this bed was worth it

Location and facilities . Great for adults and family. Lazy river 24-hour indoor pool excellent. I did like we had the only access to our room doing our stay.. The space was awesome for 4 adults and 3 children. The bedrooms and living room were well appointed. All day, coffee and tea in the lobby a plus. Cookies at 2:00 pm was great. Eating places nearby. Off main strip road gave faster access to location. Beautiful scenery backs up to golf courses. No safety concerns.

I did not necessarily like the cleaning fee. We wash our own towels, dishes and swept on our own floors, which was fine with us . We should not have to pay for cleaning the unit after leaving. Especially with the price we paid for the penthouse and no housekeeping request that should have sufficient. With that being said, we would gladly stay again.

Everything was great! Angel and Melissa at the front desk were both very kind and helpful during our entire stay. My group of 5 was traveling for spring break and we all did the spa at the resort as well and it is one of the best spas that we have ever been to. We were having such a good time in pigeon Forge that we even decided to stay an extra night and it was very simple to do so once we spoke with the ladies at the front desk. All-around great stay very clean and spacious. The pool was clean and the gym was nice. The location is also very convenient as well with so many restaurants nearby as well as being so close to the islands. We will always stay at River Stone when we go to Pigeon forge from now on.

The four-bedroom suite was wonderful! Spacious, modern and very clean. Loved the location, removed but not far from the main strip. Most of the staff was super friendly and helpful. The fitness center was great, and the kids in our party loved the pool.

Our room wasn’t ready at check-in time, which was frustrating because we had three children under 5. Pool area was kinda dirty for an 8 am swim. A few workers—cleaning crew and someone in the lobby annoyed with our kids as we waited past 4 pm for our room after a several-hours trip—we’re less than pleasant.

Our stay at RiverStone Resort exceeded our expectations! The facility was extraordinary. The staff was extremely helpful and very pleasant. It is one of the best resorts we have stayed at. It was centrally located and close to everything. We took this trip to make a friend's bucket list come true. He could not have been happier. Thank you for allowing us to have a remarkable and enjoyable stay. We will definitely come back.

The only thing that would make it better is if we could have stayed longer.

The location was off the noisier, busier main drag, but close to everything. It was very quiet, and the unit was spacious, had a fireplace, full kitchen, king size bed and washer and dryer! It had a wintery/cabin feel and it was very comfortable. LOVED the indoor pool, and the fitness center! Easy parking and the main lobby offered free coffee/tea and treats throughout the day, along with laundry detergent if needed! Loved the fireplace!

I booked this lodging for the indoor pool, as we visited at the beginning of October. So I could swim daily. No reflection on the lodging itself, or its staff - but without another pool option, when it's too chilly for folks to opt for the lazy river - trying to swim laps in a pool full of children or adults with no manners is futile. I had to go a 5:30 in the morning. If you don't have the same goal, this won't be a problem.

Condo was perfect for our family. 2 bedrooms and a spacious shared living space. Beautiful views and free coffee. Lazy river was great for the whole family and pool area open 24 hours is a perk. Grocery store within 3 minutes. Could walk to toy box putt putt. 2 miles from Dollywood and shuttle picks up two blocks away

Didn’t have a bottle opener. Was my only complaint!

Location and our room were fantastic. We really enjoyed the fireworks show from Dollywood every night from our deck.

Our room wasn't ready by 4PM as expected. I was told to wait 15 minutes and it would be ready and it still wasn't ready. We had been on the road all day and would have really liked having our room at 4 if not earlier. Also, it would be great if you had a small pantry store available to grab little things if you need them without having to run out too far.
