Everything was wonderful, loved the decor and how close it was for us to get to Ft. Jackson 's graduation. I can not remember the name of the young man that checked s in on Sunday but he is a jewel! He was so helpful, I wanted to give him a big tip upon check out but we left super early. If not for him taking the time to help us with directions and local info to help us get around our visit would not have been a success. All the staff was excellent!

I forgot to ask for maid services to bring new towels and take out the trash every other day. I was not used to having to ask but that was on me.

Joyce Hands down is excellent! She interacted with ALL guests with a smile and even gave me encouragement. Tru is blessed to have someone that cares about making others comfortable outside their normal environment. We (customers) leave are safe and secure homes to stay at a hotel. Hoping and praying for a decent place to eat, sleep and be entertained. Oh yea...Safe from illness too!! The rooms were clean and Joyce was working hard to ensure we had clean towels and linen. Also, Matisha checked us in she was excellent! Greeted us and ensured she had answers to our questions and concerns.

#309 room Please spray for bugs. I saw one bug!!! It look like a roach, but not sure. I stepped on it quickly. I didn't alert anyone at the desk.

I liked the amenities offered, even though we did not use the fitness center. Breakfast was AWESOME , even though the pancake maker was down 🙁

I reserved a room that had 2 queen beds and got a room with 2 full beds. The beds and pillows were terribly uncomfortable. The lady that checked us in Thursday evening was very unfriendly. The gentleman and lady that were there in the morning for breakfast and check out Friday morning were AWESOME!!!

Cool, fun aesthetics. Very clean and good use of space. I like hotels with character. Also within walking distance to restaurants.

I liked the gym. It has a great look but it could use some safety improvements. Specifically the spacing of the rack for the heavier dumbells is too narrow. They're larger than lighter dumbells thus you need more clearance to put them in place and don't want them falling on your foot. Also, edge of those racks has acute angles which can cut a forearm. They're all at 90 degrees which looks great but again, is difficult to get weights into and out of there. Most weight racks will have a slant with upturned short ledge to allow easy retreival/replacement while minimizing slippage risk.

The breakfast was good. Had a good variety of options. The location of the hotel was close to lots of shopping. Easy to get in and out of. Very modern and clean.

There was a small issue with the rate. When I received my statement he next morning, it was for a higher rate and not the Booking rate. After breakfast, I mentioned it to the front desk. She looked it up and she saw it immediately and said she’d fix it. And she did. I think the system was confused because I was able to check in through the Hilton mobile app. And maybe that caused it to charge me the normal rate. But it worked out well and my final bill ended up $4 cheaper than the Booking quote.

I loved the pool table in the lobby and the eco friendliness of the hotel. The shower was amazing and the bed was super comfy. The staff were also very friendly. The hotel was super close to a lot of good things.

The breakfast was mediocre. The pancake machine was nice. Also, my price in my email did not match what was charged to my account. We had a room that was near the linen closet and we were woken up at 5:30 am by a lot of loud noise. Whether that was staff or just other guests is unknown, but sounds carry very well throughout the hotel room.

Place was great! We love to stay there . The stuff was very helpful and kind! I recommend it! They were always Fast to assist you in everything!

The only problem was that no one told us that the cleaning was just upon request because of covid! so the first day when we came back the room was no clean up and then I asked for room to be clean up the next day. The next day I asked again before I went out and when I came back was not clean , but when i told them the problem they took care inmidiatly . They were very fast to assist you in everything!

a pool would be nice and needs a little updating. we was a little inconvenienced due to having to change rooms during our stay because the screws was coming out of the shower door so they made us move rooms and had to pa k back up and move and then did not even offer us any form of help moving and no discount was offered either. being we saved possibly a law suit from it falling on someone and it was a very heavy shower door which would have really hurt someone. also the pillows was very small and no filling hardly in them. also the bed was very uncomfortable

Everything was just as I expected from Tru. This one is very conveniently located next to a restaurant so I could walk to dinner and not have to get back into my car.

Only one complaint. Someone downstairs from me had a dog locked in the bathroom and the constant barking came right up through the bathroom loud enough to hear over my tv.

It was in a good location. Everything was nice and clean.

We are traveling with a toddler who loves milk. Our mini fridge in our room did not work. So that was a little frustrating. Especially since we had to buy some before coming up to our room. Our room was small and felt a little cramped.
